What an amazing experience. John was absolutely amazing to work with, and made the process extremely easy. Rolling Sounds was recommended to us from multiple friends and family, and I am so happy we chose to work with them for our wedding. I wrote a review after my son's wedding back in September 2019. John says I I am lying. That is a lot of stuff to be lying about. The drinking, the calling the boys gay, the not introducing the people right. Wow. The owner of rolling sounds just responded to that review today falsely. He stated that I asked for a refund I never asked for a refund ever. I complained about him having one job to do and that was introducing the bride and groom's name correct also the introduction of the groom's best man was incorrect amongst many other incorrect. I have already listed my complaints. I never asked for my money back ever. I have witnesses that were there when he was yelling at me very immaturely and unprofessionally. My final response was I wasn't going to tip him, number one because he's the owner of the company you don't tip an owner and number two because of his poor quality of music and his mistakes that he made end of story. I do not recommend this company to anyone He totally sucks. He's old and washed up. Everyone complained about his choice of music. Again he is lying I never asked for a refund. I did tell him he was way over priced. Good luck if you choose him. Again he sucks. Oh and he never spoke with my son or daughter-n-law. And they never said it was ok. In fact they asked me to leave a bad review. He is correct about one thing and that is I wanted to leave abad review so everyone can see how bad he is. It was an amazing experience to work with John and his assistant Isaiah. My family helped me plan my wedding and right away told me he was their top pick. After talking with him on the phone it was clear why: tons of experience, extremely helpful, and one of the kindest people I have had the pleasure talking to. I lived in Indianapolis when we were planning our wedding and John went out of his way to accommodate us. He explained everything on the phone, walked us through his website, and gave us great advice on how to tackle to big task of picking our music. Meeting him in person to discuss our timeline and music was also a delight and you could just tell he was genuine in wanting our big day to go well. During the wedding introductions he made sure to review everyone's name pronunciation, he accommodated last minute changes to the schedule such as an impromptu speech and blessing, and kept my husband and I on track to hit the highlights of the evening. Our venue was running a little behind, but John made sure everything kept moving and nothing was left out or rushed. Everything sounded amazing even though we had an odd shaped room that made speaker set up slightly difficult, and the uplighting we chose in amber really made the room shine. We just celebrated a milestone birthday and needed a DJ who could keep a very diverse group happy. John and Rolling Sounds did just that. This place is great! We were out a D.J. a week before our wedding. In panic mode, I looked through my bridal expo bags for D.J. flyers. I set up 3 appointments for 3 different DJ companies, one being Rolling Sounds Entertainment. Rolling Sounds was our first appointment and after that appointment we did not need to look any further. John the Entertainment Director was so helpful and accommodating for our big time constraint. We didn't have much of a play list and he offered some great suggestions along with a reception agenda for us to modify and finalize. My Husband and I went and interviewed over 10 DJs and John from Rolling Sounds was by far the Best! You work with your specific DJ and he actually listens to what you want and helps customize your big day. We had 3 meetings and comunicated over the phone and email, not only did he respond in an appropriate time frame but all of the information and resources provided for planning are organized and through. We used Rolling sounds for both ceremony and reception and everything went just as planned. Our guests could hear our ceremony and he did a wonderful job tying in the music. My new husband and I cannot thank John and Rolling Sounds enough! We met with John back in April 2016 after meeting with our photographers, and right after that initial meeting with him, I became extremely excited to work with him for our wedding day in August 2017. About two months before the wedding, John helped us customize our ceremony music and special dances music. He gave great advice on how the timeline would work, and it was so nice to just trust in him and know that the ceremony and reception timeline would all be taken care of by him. We also hired John to come to our rehearsal, and I'm so happy he did. He gave great advice, and I felt a huge relief to do a run-through with him before our big day. The day of our wedding, he made sure all of the timing was right for our ceremony. He made sure to help us with the timing for our special dances, and even helped us surprise the winners of the anniversary dance with a gift (my grandparents ended up winning with 60 years married in the books; the idea of surprising them with a gift made my grandmother cry tears of happiness!) I'm sure other brides have worried during their planning processes that the dance floor may be empty, especially since it's completely out of the couple's control. My wife & I used Rolling Sounds for our wedding DJ, MC, and Photo Booth and could not have been happier with our decision. Music was probably the most important part of our day, and they delivered. John (owner) was outstanding - he's incredibly kind and extremely passionate about his profession. During our first meeting, John listened to our vision and the laid out all of our options. During our final planning meeting, John told us that he'd play whatever we wanted, but that he'd also look at our list of songs and give us honest feedback based on his deep experience doing weddings. We ended up going with a lot of his recommendations and when our wedding day finally came, everything was flawless - perfect job MCing to make sure all events flowed smoothly (it was almost like we had a real-time reception coordinator), packed dance floor all night, a line at our photo booth, etc... People enjoyed the music at our wedding so much that we ended up working with John to buildout the list of songs from our reception on Spotify so that we could send it to our guests, because we were getting so many requests for the playlist! The DJ Tim, he provided was a really nice and a down to earth guy. I didn't give 5 stars because, Tim missed the queue for our recessional song to begin, so we stood there at the alter looking around for awhile waiting for a song to start so that we could walk off. Also, the bridal party introduction song for the reception was wrong, so it made it look a bit unorganized, as I gave a list of specific songs to be played and when. My husbands lapel mic wasn't working so the audience couldn't hear the vows and we were supposed to have a stand alone mic, so that a poem was read, it wasn't provided, so my poem reader had to try and speak loudly to be heard, we were refunded for the mics, but the moment was ruined. But other than that, Tim's personality was awesome. read more

Prior to committing to Rolling sounds I had met with 1 other DJ. No one I have met is as organized as John was. John was on top of everything. He had the whole wedding day planned for me from the start of the ceremony to the very last song of the night. I met with John a few times to make sure I got everything I wanted.
