I had to update my review of Rolling Oven after getting to try their updated brunch in their new space across from Mirror Twin. They are really not messing around with this brunch. I got the honey ham pizza to eat, which has to be one of the best breakfast pizzas ever. Prosciutto, cheese, honey, gooey egg all on a fire-roasted crust, mwah (Italian chef kiss). On top of that, I had a whole extra meal with their Italian Stallion bloody mary. This drink comes with a whole mini pizza on top! Also, this isn't your average bloody mary. We talked with the bartender who came up with this drink which uses aquavit instead of vodka, a Norwegian liquor with a strong fennel taste, and has some of Rolling Oven's pizza sauce in it. It literally tastes like drinking a Tostino's pizza roll, which is a good thing. If you're a fan of epic brunch drinks and tasty brunch pizzas, you better head over soon before this place is busting at the seams during brunch on the weekends. read more

If I had to pick the best pizza in town, it would hands down be Rolling Oven. Their pizza is delicious and baked in actual fire. You can see the oven as the pizza is made. They started as my favorite food truck and I loved them so much I had them cater my wedding! If anyone asks me for a local food recommendation this is where I send them first. They have several veggie options and of course a wide variety for the meat eaters. They even have a vegan appetizer (bruschetta and avocado bruschetta). Once again I have been blown away by a Food Truck. However, it is more than a Food Truck. The Rolling Oven is a original creation by the Owner and is simply an amazing setup. The Chef, Robert, is using this unique design to churn out some very high quality foods. Uuuhhhhhhh, it's a good thing the beer was wet, (at $6 a glass) cause we waited TWO HOURS for the pizza. At an hour and a half we politely asked for status at the kitchen. They checked and were like, yeah, should be soon. It wasn't soon. People we shared a table with took pity since they were served first, when they sat 45 minutes after us, and they asked FOR US again. They told us, their order had been forgotten more than once here. At that point we asked for it to go, cause, gotta GTFO of this place. When we finally got our order it wasn't what we asked for, and the server said, "Well that's what your order said." REALLY?? You know we've been here two hours and now we didn't do a good enough job fact-checking the order taker?? This meal is no longer appetizing by any stretch. I asked for a refund and the guy comes back with, "Already did." Ooooohhh k. Why is this dude annoyed with us?? You win. I guess we became a mistake they didn't want in the restaurant any more. We dropped $24 on 4 beers plus tip, dumped whatever you gave us outside, cause with that attitude, wouldn't trust this food. The pizza was clearly and thoroughly burnt, and the toppings were flavorless. For a $19 pizza, it left far too much to be desired. When we arrived it was severely understaffed, and that was reflected in the poor quality of the pizza. We came to dine in last week, and have heard great things. We ordered the pepperoni pizza. Upon ordering I noticed their staff seemed careless, and did a lot of sitting around, while their kitchen looked disastrous, including containers of dressing sitting out on the counter. Upon getting my pizza, the crust was black and the pepperoni was burnt. I went up to ask for ranch dressing and they gave it to me from the container that was sitting out, so I just threw it out. Upon leaving almost an hour after ordering, their kitchen was still a disaster and the employees still sitting around. I think I'll stick with goodfellas next time I need a pizza. read more

Seriously, as good as it gets. We had the Rolling Oven truck and crew out for our wedding and it was absolutely amazing. The service was incredible (quick, professional and friendly!) and our guests talked all night about how good the food was. They even provided GF pizza crusts and made one vegan pizza for the guests that don't eat cheese. Rolling Oven was affordable and 100% worth it.
