Pulled brisket, mac, green beans, potato salad

My husband and I think this is some of the best BBQ we've had. Not to mention their bourbon BBQ sauce. It's something special. I usually do not touch any kind of BBQ sauce with my smoked meats, because I generally find them too syrupy, too fake, too tomato paste-y. This sauce is a perfect balance of tangy, sweet, with a hint of spice that compliments the flavors without overpowering them, or searing your mouth before you can finish tasting the full flavor profile. It's interesting and the bourbon is just that special kick to send it over the edge, without feeling like you're downing a shot of maker's mark. Honestly, go here if just for the sauce.

Exceptional BBQ. I had pork, chicken and brisket tacos - all are topped with chilis and some amazing coleslaw. DH is a big eater and got the ribs + 2. He couldn't finish it. Their in-house sauces are both delicious but I favored the sweet and hot combo. They even brought out some brisket DH to try. Great service, people and food! 10/10 will return the next time we're in town!

We ate at Porterhouse inside Greyline Station for the first time today. Food was fast and service friendly! We had the BBQ bowls. The chicken was tender and lightly seasoned (definitely not dry). Mac and cheese was solid (not soggy) with good amount of cheese. The bourbon BBQ sauce was tasty!

Stoped by country boy brewing and Porterhouse BBQ was the food truck for the day. They had BBQ, ribs, chicken legs all smoked right there on their truck. The smell alone was great. I got the chicken leg with mac and cheese and green beans. The chicken was very tender and had a great glaze on the top. It wasn't to crunchy but wasn't to soft. The mac and cheese had almost like a breaking top that gave it a little crunch which I like. The green beans had little pieces of brisket mixed in that gave them a great smoky taste. All in all I'm a fan I can't wait to taste the ribs!

Probably the best brisket I've ever tasted. Sooooooo much flavor! Smokey with a hint of heat. Absolutely no need for sauce.

And I would love to know how they cook their smoked cabbage because I totally want to steal that recipe!

It's a fairly large place with many tables and even a lunch buffet ($11.99). I wasn't really in the mood for a large meal so I just ordered 3 tacos ($2 each). I tried pastor, Asada and compechanos (steak and chorizo mix), I really enjoyed all of them but the chorizo was excellent. They also have tortas ($6.50), quesadillas, and other Mexican street food favorites! They did not have a salsa bar but they have red and green salsa In squirt bottles that they bring to your table. I will definitely be back, very soon!

I mean this with full sincerity when I say these are some of the most flavorful food I have ever had. Taqueria Ramirez was my go to when I ever need a taco, but after discovering this little food truck. I am making the switch. I have tried a variety of proteins on the tacos and none missed. I could nit-pick and say the elote cups are a bit too saucy but oh, so delicious. I can't wait to try more items. The owner of the little food truck is delightful, polite and friendly. After coming a few times remembered me which is always a plus. The truck is there during the evening, so it's a great place for a quick dinner, prices are fairly cheap as well. It is a food truck so if you don't enjoy being seated outside, then that could be a knock but again its a food truck so you should know what you are getting into. AGAIN, PLEASE give it a try, genuinely fantastic food.
