We came down to look at several compact cars and were able to test drive a Corolla, Civic, and Focus right in a row. Our sales consultant, Josh McCarthy, found us the vehicles we were specifically looking for and a few others so we could test drive them and compare. Josh knew all of the vehicles well, even the Ford! He politely answered our questions and provided information without being intrusive. After going through all of them thoroughly, we decided to purchase a 2014 Honda Civic. We paid right around the Kelly Blue Book fair purchase price and used the Edmunds Price Promise online certificates. They were very honest and fair throughout the whole process, and truly cared about the customer's happiness rather than just selling cars. They are by far the best dealership that we went to. Josh was able to answer all of our questions and was not pushy. We took up quite a bit of his time and never felt rushed. They also seemed to be treating all of the other customers well. The finance guy honestly explained the paperwork and warranty options. Other dealerships had made us feel like we always had to be alert to keep from getting taken advantage of. I am a local customer who purchased a vehicle from Rolling Hills Honda several years ago. Their care for the customer continues WAY beyond the purchase of a vehicle. I recently needed to replace the battery on my vehicle and get an oil change and an inspection so that I could get it licensed again after a period of being unable to drive. I called and explained to them my situation and that my Multiple Sclerosis made it difficult to get the vehicle there for service. They came to my house, got the car started, drove it for me to the dealership, made all repairs (plus some recall notices I didn't even know about!) and then picked me up to drive it home when it was finished. This is way above and beyond what I expected and is the reason I will never take my car anywhere else! About 3 weeks later, I left with a 2013 Honda Accord ~ such a "sweet-smooth ride, I'll call her Merlot"! Now you need to know that Zac Hammersmith is the man who took me for a test drive. He did a great job in giving me the many facts on my choice vehicle. Have been dealing with Rolling Hills for almost 10 years. Bought my new 2005 Toyota & 2010 Honda there. Some service managers think they know it all. but Joe and his fellow service manager REALLY DO! They listen to your story, then know exactly how to approach the solution to your problem. I was an electronics technician for a steel mill all my life and learned that listening to an operator's complaint was the easiest way to understand where I needed to focus my attention. These two guys really know their business, and the staff of mechanics working for them are just as cordial and professional as them. Getting service at a dealership can be a little pricey but the never sell you something that isn't needed and the work is always done right the first time. Jessica spent time getting to know me and helped me to choose the Honda that was right for me. She spent an entire day with me as I tried to figure out which car to buy, and remained cheerful and patient as I test-drove each different model. She never once tried to tell me what I wanted--instead she listened to me, and then sought out solutions to fulfill my needs. All I knew when I arrived at the dealership was that I needed a vehicle. I was very open-minded going in, and was willing to look at both new & used, cars, crossovers, and SUVs. Allison Laurie was very, very patient with me, showing me quite a few different vehicles and going on several test drives with me. We bought a new Honda Odyssey from Terry Hupp. This is the 8th vehicle we have purchased from Rolling Hills. Terry sold us our last car. He worked so hard trying to help us find just what we wanted, that we requested him again. It took me a REALLY long time to decide what I wanted. Terry spent many hours with me, and was very helpful and patient, and helped me focus on what features were really important to me. I also really like that this dealership sells Hondas,Toyotas, and Nissans because you can have 1 salesman show you all three instead of starting over with a new person. While traveling from Kansas to Wisconsin our engine light started flashing so we stopped at Rolling Hills Honda to have them look over our Odyssey. They went WAY above and beyond their job descriptions to help us out. We needed a major repair that kept us in St. Joseph for two days, but the best part is the thoughtfulness and determination of Conner and his technicians. Conner was in communication with our Honda mechanic in Appleton and the techs worked long, long hours (I can only imagine how many!) to get us back on the road as soon as they safely could. Our recent car buying experience was great - Ryan Hull was our Sales Consultant and he was very helpful throughout the whole process and provived excellent customer service. The dealership was experiencing a high number of sales while we were there, so we had to wait a bit to meet with the finance department and Ryan stayed with us until we were done (even after the dealership's normal business hours) and even helped set up my blue tooth, while we were waiting. I normally don't like to shop for cars due to the high pressure tactics of most sales people but there was none of that at Rolling Hills Honda in St. Joseph, Mo. The sales person, Josh McCarthy, was helpful and asked only questions to help narrow the search for the vehicle I was looking for. I chose a 2014 Honda CRV and wished to make some modifications to it and he also helped me do that.
