He also explained to me what the options were to gettin it back on the road. Once I made my decision, without any pressure or any upsales, They ordered parts and got right to work on it. Taking the time to call me and explaining to me what stage they were in on the repairs. Was a very fair price, for an outstanding repair job. They are honest when given you an estimate and go into great detail so you are not hit with any surprises later. As a woman it's hard to go into a shop and trust what the mechanics are telling you as they tend to lie all the time. I was also charged 63 dollars for this "assessment" that took less than 15 min. I told him I had my own parts since I had planned to do it myself and he agreed to do labor to put parts on which is why I gave 2 stars instead of one. When I came to pick my truck up he told me his mechanic had a hard time with the job. He stated he was cussing and screaming over it. Bob told me I had not normal brakes on my truck and it took a long time to do them. That is not true. Tacoma trucks have the same drum brakes on the rear from 05 to 2023. He charged me 294 dollars for labor. So beware, his mechanic is just slow but you have to pay for more labor because of his inability to do the job in a timely manner. Bob even asked me if i wanted a mechanic job. When I got home I realized my emergency brake was not adjusted out after in stalling the shoes so I have barely a emergency brake at all. I had to crawl under truck to check on brakes I see he did not replace my dust plugs on brake adjuster hole nor put caps on grease fittings. I am 68 and on fixed income but Bob told me he felt bad for charging me so much when it should of only been about 150. Boy that made me feel better. I was pretty upset so I just left. Thinking about calling credit card company to see about recourse.

Refused to provide my with a receipt of repair and provide me with receipts to were they bought the parts from. I took my car to 2 other garages and they confirmed the wheel bearings were not installed correctly or not replaced at all. In the process of this they damage both cv axles on on the front of my car and now its going to cost over 1200.00 to repair. They will not refund my money and they allow there receptionist to drive my car without my permission. They took advantage of me being a female. I have tried several times to get them to make this right and they will not. I have reported them to the Attorney Generals Office and the Better Business Bureau. I hope they can shed some light on what a terrible business this is and save someone else from getting taken advantage of. My car is no not safe to drive after they touched my car. Some of the mechanics act like they cant speak English and will not help you. Also got one of the mechanics using a crow bar i my drivers side wheel. Please be cautious of this place. I hard to learn the hard way. The receptionist acts like she is the owner and refuses to allow me speak with the owner to get this resolved. They basically stole my money and didn't do the repairs they stated they did to my car. Now me and my son are without transportation because of the lack of responsibility on there end as far as being fare and taking accountability and making this right with me.
