Todd's Tire I have been doing business with Todd's Tire…read moresince 2005 with them always taking great care of my machinery and vehicles until today 10/15/25 I'm not one to go around leaving bad reviews... but I have to share my experience. I went to Todd's to have (4) tires that I provided mounted and balanced assuming it would not be more than $100.00 total. My bad I didn't ask the price... when I went into the office to pay I was told $191.00 I reacted "You have got to be kidding me?" The new owner Katie very pleasantly said no that's the price since you didn't buy the tires here. I wrote a check and left feeling really unhappy about the amount billed. I called back the following day after checking prices with Mr Tire in Tonganoxie and told her they quoted me $100 total & $5 a tire disposal. I said I would like to have $40 or $50 back or she would be losing a customer. She explained that she felt it morally wrong to buy my business. I explained you just lost my business permanently and I would be writing a negative review. Buyer beware check prices before doing business at Todd's Tire. Not only did he fly up on my rear bumper, but he also passed me in a double line no passing zone as I turned off the main highway (K-4) through Valley Falls. Not a good representation of your company RNR Tires. And not safe for the kids and families in Valley Falls. When I called to report this to the business the person who answered the phone responded by telling me that the driver stated "You pulled out in front of him so that's what happened there". Then when trying to clarify that pulling out a quarter of a mile in front of someone in a 45 mile per hour zone is plenty of distance, the gentleman disagreed. Then when told the driver passed in a no passing zone did not offer any reassurance that this negligent driver would be addressed. If your drivers in your vehicles plastered with your company name are allowed to drive like this and you back them up, you are not going to gain business with that representation. You also come off as combative and argumententative on the phone to potential customers.

He also explained to me what the options were to gettin it back on the road. Once I made my decision, without any pressure or any upsales, They ordered parts and got right to work on it. Taking the time to call me and explaining to me what stage they were in on the repairs. Was a very fair price, for an outstanding repair job. They are honest when given you an estimate and go into great detail so you are not hit with any surprises later. The tech I dealt with especially made to me fell at ease with his knowledge, when he was explaining the process to me. I for will always be using Kruse's for all my mechanical needs.

HORRIBLE TIRE SHOP! BEWARE! Called and was quoted $40 for a tire. Got there and the tire magically…read morebecame $50. Then one person says rotation is $10 and when shes ringing me up, that became $25! They even forgot to rotate the passager side of my vehicle. I leave and notice the next day the tire I bought is flat. I figured this was because I had Fix A Flat in my old tire and somehow that must have effected the seal. Nope! Next day it is COMPLETELY flat and when I put my donut on, there is a huge puncture on the inside sidewall of the tire I purchased here! So I call and the lady at the front desk tells me that she would be happy to take a look at my tire and swap it out. I go swap it out and they proceeded to put my tire on my rim with a BROKEN tire machine. The only reason I found this out was because I could see the "technician" struggling with it and using hand tools to mount my tire! Oh and she calls to get a work order in for it as well! So i'm about to leave and front desk lady has the audacity to tell me "you haven't paid" I was unaware I was paying for a replacement to a defective tire! But she says I can't have a refund because I didn't have my reciept after they admited to selling the tire to me. So I inspect my repaired wheel and find that they damaged my brand new rim with a huge gash from the defective tire machine. I mention this and she just looks at me and says "well the tire is sealed" I was beyond angry so I left and thought I'd let other people know about this disgrace of a tire shop. They are clever though, I'll give them that. They've got how to get your money down, that's for sure!"
