I didn't wind up buying because the Expedition wasn't in perfect condition for the sky high price they were asking for a 99 in 2021 with an odometer that didn't show up. The salesman Travis Brooks is the 4/5 star rating because I dealt with him for 2 weeks and my crazy work and personal schedule. He was very nice, and more than understanding, and easy to get along with! No pressure either. I would give him 5/5 but deducted 1 star for the product that I was finally able to come up and see being over priced, over represented condition wise, and not a good value unless they dropped the price in almost half. read more

This is work done on my grandmothers Ford Escape with very low mileage. All the details are in the pictures. To begin I believe most of these repairs and recommendations were fabricated and unnecessary to take advantage of an elderly lady in her 70's... ----- The type of grandmother to thank the cashier at the grocery store for being kind, the type of grandmother that still sends birthday cards, makes pies , has a home in disrepair and was a widow at the young age of 53. You know the type of grandmother that reminds you of you're grandmother. The one that you're not worried about making it into heaven . Yes, that one. ---------------- Ok secondly! The Ford Escape! What can I say? What's you're excuse Ford? The work was necessary? What's that say about you're product? And even if the work was necessary... the price? The prices are outrageous. I can't single out any one repair because they are all RIP OFFS. Lastly, Please look at the work done, the mileage , model year, and the cost of the repair... if you don't know what you're looking at, show a friend or you're husband. Please review the documents before purchasing a vehicle or having repairs made at ANY dealership. and just be on the safe side and believe me, do NOT come here for anything! Bought a car from these guys that supposedly had a lot of work done to it before. About a month or so after owning it one of those parts failed. This was confirmed by 2 different mechanics. I took it back here and they said they would fix it. However the service department said that was not the problem and they would have to charge me to diagnose what was really wrong. After i complained they agreed to look into it and put a different part on supposedly that was wrong with it. I dont think they did it, my car didn't move that day, but if they did it still wasn't correct as my SUV still has the same issue. I recently purchased a 2017 Ford Fusion last year & had to take it in for some warranty paint work (which I shouldn't have been going in for in the first place, BUT that's besides the point.) The dealership I bought from (Dennis Sneed) doesn't have a body shop so they referred me to Anderson Ford. Yeah, if you're from st joe, you already know where this is going. So, we went there, gave them the benefit of the doubt to fix the paint on the roof of my car.. BIG mistake. They had my car for 25 days. INSANE. This place of business is an absolute joke. I took it in on April 8 & they specifically told me it would be 3-5 days. Perfect. 4 days later we hear nothing, not even an update, until we call them wondering what's going on & find out that there was more damage done than we thought & they had to order a part that would be in the next day. Weekend goes by, still hear nothing by Tuesday, so we call again - now they still haven't received the part or know where it is at.. (please explain how you cannot track anything you ever order?) So now we're pissed. A week goes by & we finally get a call on an update (crazy how customer service works ) that the part has been installed & it just needs paint so it will be ready no later than Thursday. Thursday comes, we call again & what do you know, it's not ready!! Now I'm furious at this point. Finally it's ready that Friday, April 26. We pick it up, check it over & guess what?? The radio doesn't work. so back to Anderson we go & all they knew was to reinstall it that following Monday. So we take it home bc it was still able to run. & guess what next?? I get home from work at 11pm, & now the car won't even start! These morons left my car battery unplugged for 3 WEEKS. They lost the whole entire program to my car which controls my push to start, my stereo, the whole shabang. Yeah. So I finally lost it. Here we go on Saturday, another stop to Anderson ford & somehow met a couple of DECENT salesmen who generously came to my house to get my car so we could get it to their service department. So, today we finally got my car back with a few minor problems, such as, it is completely trashed inside & they messed w/ the above dome lights. & I don't even care at this point, I'll fix it myself. BUT HOW DOES A CAR GO INTO A CAR DEALERSHIP WORKING AND COME OUT NOT?? We will never step a foot in their establishment ever again. If you need work done, save yourself the frustration & lies, & take it to KC!! Literally worst customer service I have ever encountered. & on top of it all, they lied to us about approving a rental for me. So, I had to pay out of pocket for a car rental as well. I went on line to check on oil changes for my Lincoln. It said I could make an appointment, which I did for 10:30 am the next day. I got a confirmation email showing the date and time. Upon arrival I was told they don't take appointments and there would be an hour to 1 1/2 hour wait. Why would you have this false info on your website and not honor it. I called Lincoln and filed a complaint. I will never go back to Anderson again. I'd rather drive to KC than deal with thus dealership again. read more

So, we spoke to this dealer on the phone four times over a day and a half about a specific vehicle. In the third call we asked them to go out and take an actual measurement for us and call us back. They called us back with a measurement. We made an appointment to see the vehicle and drove 1.5 hours to get there. Guess what, they could not find it after we made the drive! Turned out they did NOT go take an actual measurement just gave us a number. We waited 40 minutes for them to locate it and it was clear they had no idea where it was. I called Anderson Ford to look at my sun roof leaking air and paint chipping off the hood on my 2017 Ford Edge purchased at this dealership and still under warranty. I scheduled an appointment and took it to the dealership with an 8:30 appointment. The service rep called me at 4:00 later that day indicating there was nothing they could do for the problem. They told me the body shop would have to schedule an appointment and I would have to call them. After I requested a direct transfer, I talked with someone in the shop. He told me he would walk up to service desk and retrieve my 2017 Ford Edge and check it out. I told him if necessary they could keep the vehicle if needed but just let me know. That did not happen. Today around 2:30 I decided to call to inquire about the vehicle to the service department and the tech told me the vehicle was still sitting where I had left it the day before and had not been touched. I bought this vehicle primarily because of local service and previous good service by the company. Something has changed here. Poor service followed up by excuses does not equal good customer service. I am sorry to say I will never buy a vehicle from Anderson Ford in St. Joseph again!! read more

Great dealership friendly service personnel had to have our escape fixed under warranty they even provided a loaner car.

Pretty ticked at this dealer right now. The muffler on my Ford F-150 was failing, and making lots of noise, plus we had an oil leak that needed attention, so we chose the dealer over a regular muffler shop thinking they could fix both. They charged us 2 hours of work even though they had the vehicle for less than one hour. Two issues equals billing for two hours. RIP OFF! They said the muffler would be $750 for complete replacement, or we could take it to a muffler shop and get just a single tube fixed for around $100. They said a gasket was blown causing the oil leak. It's not covered by the extended warranty we bought last year. It would be $400 to fix, and they couldn't tell us whether it was really an important fix or not. They just hemmed and hawed and wouldn't really answer us. So $260 of diagnostics charges later... we still have a bum muffler, and an oil leak. Not a happy camper. read more

We recently purchased a 2018 Hyundai Tuson from Anderson Ford in Saint Joseph. Fred Goff was the salesman that helped us and played a huge part in this 5 star rating. We have purchased many cars thru our almost 20 years of marriage and this was by far the best, start to finish, experience we have ever had. The whole process was about 3 weeks - not due to Fred or Anderson Ford, just due to us wanting to take our time and be sure we got exactly what we needed and wanted. During the whole time Fred was patient and didn't once pressure us into making a decision or push us to decide on a certain vehicle. While at the same time, he was sure to help and answer questions and do his absolutely best to help us find what we were looking for. Our purchase included a trade-in & we financed. Anderson Ford has a procedure that allows the salesman, in our case Fred, to handle all the paperwork and each step of the process. For us, this was such a nice thing to be able to deal with Fred directly beginning to end. Good job Anderson Ford and great job Fred. I bought a vehicle and within a week I had 3 recalls on my ford surprise, NOT! Mind you my vehicle was inspected and PASSED not even a week prior to the recall repairs having no issues what so ever. When I picked up my vehicle after the recalls were repaired I was informed my outer tie rod was extremely loose mind you my car drove PERFECTLY fine before and one of my recalls was the cross subframe. I brought to the dealers attention that before delivering my vehicle for recall repair it had a multipoint inspection done to it and had no issues what so ever. They informed me it will cost me almost $300 dollars to repair!! Taking the tire off and looking at the tie rod it obviously was tampered with and looks like someone stabbed it with something! I waited for over a month for the manager of Anderson Ford to contact me back and review the cameras and heard nothing. Today I called and spoke with a gentleman who was extremely rude and defiant towards me over this situation and practically told me I need to pay for the repair or let it fall off and when I asked to speak to his supervisor he disconnected the call. I tried calling the dealer back multiple times and I was placed on a block list! This dealership is very unprofessional and will purposely damage your vehicle we're they can get away with it and get extra money out of your pocket. This is not my first horrible experience with Anderson Ford, Over having years of most of my cars repaired here but unfortunately I don't like going to other dealerships that aren't Ford Motor but unfortunately I will have to start driving an hour away to have repairs done by professionals who are not tweaked out of their minds not knowing what they are doing or trying to get any extra dollar they can get out of you. Anderson Ford even had the nerve to say I had to pay a diagnostic test to have them look at it again on top of the price to fix it. if your a ford person, DO NOT buy from Anderson ford or have your vehicle repaired it's worth driving into the city you'll save your money and time on some bull. read more
