2 minutes ago Reason I'm bringing this up Now and Not…read morebefore, is because I miss placed Receipt from 12/29/2025. ! I found it TODAY - 1/17/2026. Brought my 2018 Tacoma for Recall on Fuel Pump. My Truck had absolutely nothing wrong with it when tow truck driver dropped it off. Service said Tuesday we will work on it. So, Had to rent a car from Saturday till Tuesday . Service called earlier that day and they were going Hook "a MACHINE" up to My Truck. I replied "do what you need to DO to Fix it". Service calls back and says that I had BAD Relay ($40) and a Fuse ($3). Which I Stated Again "do what you need to do fix it". Service called back at 4pm and said it was ready to be picked up. ( I'm 1.5 hours away). Drop car off at rental. Go to Pick up my Truck , Nobody was around. Finally Some Manager (Nice Guy) came and help me. Paid for the Repairs - Thought they found something wrong and so this why I Paid It. Didn't Think Nothing of IT($400.69) - Get Keys Go Out to Start My Truck, NOW I have Check Engine Light , a (!) that I couldn't clear to see the How Fast MPH gauge I was Going ! Traction control, ABS, Engine Lite up on my dash. I started to Leave and I didn't Have any LOW beams! only Brights! Radio would not go into Dark Mode! Had dashboard lights out. Left Side Panel NO lights! When I started Driving it, It felt totally Different from when I was driving before fuel pump went out! So Next Day after checking online about What those Warnings Lights Mean. Called Service and ask to speak with Manager, Manager Was Very Rude!! I told him about everything above. Google And Forums state DON Not to Drive it! I asked manger How do you want me to get the truck up there. The Manger Gave me A Smart ASS Answer, "Were NOT Going to Pay for a TOW!!!" . Right Then I knew I was NEVER taking it back there again!!!!Checked my truck again and I have noticed my Fog Lights were not coming on. Still Light going off dashboard. Try to check fuses under hood and then tried the under dash Fuse Panel. Under the Dash Fuse Panel had NO POWER!! Then Found OUT they put a fuse in where its not supposed to Be - (AM1). Emergency recall states that Dealership pays for every thing (Parts, Labor..ect) since it is a Emergency Part! I was NOT going back to get this fixed after the call with the service Manager. I checked under hood Fuse Box and under dash Fuse Panel.**** I could NOT FIND ONE FUSE or RELAY THAT Was NEW!!! NOTHING !! How Did I Know? - I Live off a Gravel Road, All Fuses/Relays underneath Hood had Gravel Dust On them before it was going to Dealership. Next Day check Fuse Box - still had the same dust on them!!! ( NO Signs of a New Relay or Fuse) My receipt from Rolling Hills Toyota - FUEL PUMP (FREE) FOR A RELAY and a FUSE ($43) .. checked further and they charged me , FOR LABOR ( SHOULD OF BEEN FREE )!!!!!! Relay and A Fuse -----$400.69 As of Now, Ive tried Everything to fix the errors for my Truck and I have Absolutely No CLUE What They did while my Truck was there!. ! Still have same Warnings Lights as of Today!!. BE Warned - - Always Check Your Receipt before you Leave and defiantly CHECK!! - IF ITS A RECALL PART Check if you were charge LABOR.

Furthermore, while my former car was waiting to be serviced and potentially repaired, they sold it without title to some auto auctioneer. That is theft. All of my belongings were in it. The service manager, the person doing contracts, and the service manager all knew to wait, agreed to wait, so that my insurance could finish their assessment; then I would bring in title if I chose to sell it as a trade in. Rolling Hills ignored that so they could push up their numbers for November - but it was not titled to them and I did not sign over title. They have said they will get the items inside but refuse to get my car which is still titled in my name back from the auctioneer or let me know where it is. For three years I trusted Rolling Hills. I purchased with them to maintain that relationship. Instead of loving this new car, I now hate even looking at it because it reminds only how horribly my faith was betrayed. Still waiting for Rolling Hills to make this right by getting the right trim level and also compensate me for the car I still have titled that they stole. Be very careful with Rolling Hills. They have changed and shown they are no longer a place that can be trusted.

By the the end of Friday we had not heard from the service department if the car is ready for pick up or an estimate of repairs. I Saturday January 21st I contacted the service department and ultimately spoke to "James" who said that they are still currently diagnosing the air bag light and he would contact me on Monday morning January 23rd. By noon I had no contact from them so I called and spoke with a different service writer in which he also advised that they are "currently" diagnosing the air bag light, I said to him that my appointment was for Friday morning and they no have at least a day and a half of "diagnosing" the issue and also asked when he thought it may be ready. He advised that they are busy and will let me know, so I asked is the car currently be diagnosed or have you even started on it yet and he reluctantly finally said they had not even started on it yet. I advised him that we would pick up the car and seek another Nissan dealership. My question are: 1. Why do we even make an appointment if they just get to it whenever they get to it? 2. Why not give the customer a phone call and state they were unable to start the job? 3. Why be untruthful when advising the customer of the status of their vehicle? I would not recommend the service department of Rolling Hills Nissan in St. Joseph Mo.

The internet sales manager and staff here were fantastic to work with and made the experience a positive and their finance department as well. No one wants to make a large purchase unexpectedly but it was good to see how all the people I worked with came through in the end. After a year of ownership again I needed a recall performed and they reached out offering to get it taken care of and did so in a timely, and very professional manner again. I don't think warm fuzzies when working with a car dealer but it is definitely been a great experience in interacting with their staff on all fronts to date. Price, selection, and service have been positives and greatly appreciate this in a day where being passive is the norm.

After the sell, Lee agreed to mail me the remaining funds from financing with the title and spare keys in the mail. The title came as promised but no check. I called Lee who said I can come pick it up between 3-5 pm on Monday. I am in the Army and don't get off until 5 so I asked if someone could wait for me to get up there and he said no. I told them that this was their mistake and asked him to make it right and he refused. He said he could mail it, but I needed it by Tuesday and it won't be here by then. I asked for motor world's owner's information and he told me I didn't need it and that he would not give it to me. I told him that was wrong and I would get it eventually anyway. He still refused and so I hung the phone up. The owner still hasn't contacted me. No way I'd recommend this dealer to anyone.

The salesman Travis Brooks is the 4/5 star rating because I dealt with him for 2 weeks and my crazy work and personal schedule. He was very nice, and more than understanding, and easy to get along with! No pressure either. I would give him 5/5 but deducted 1 star for the product that I was finally able to come up and see being over priced, over represented condition wise, and not a good value unless they dropped the price in almost half.

I can't single out any one repair because they are all RIP OFFS. Lastly, Please look at the work done, the mileage , model year, and the cost of the repair... if you don't know what you're looking at, show a friend or you're husband. Please review the documents before purchasing a vehicle or having repairs made at ANY dealership. and just be on the safe side and believe me, do NOT come here for anything!
