Tulare County has remained in the purple tier for quite some time now so they are accustomed more to rules and regulations more than Fresno County who has fluctuated. Despite the madness, Roller Towne has kept their doors open with proper precautions (temperature checks, masks required, social distancing, limited capacity). What started off as something to do ended up becoming a new hobby and something I thoroughly enjoy. Roller Towne is super fun because it brings out the kid in me. They play music to get you pumped, turn on disco balls and black lights, and often play games like red light green light with prizes. Admission and skate rental are reasonably priced as well. For all these reasons, Roller Towne will continue to be a business I support and tell my friends about!

I brought an ice cream cake and they went ahead and put it in the refrigerator for me, then they tell me my party couldn't have it. Very frustrating knowing i brought a cake and they wont give it back if that was the case i would have just gone to chuck e cheese or even better deft thats just down the shopping center.

    Broken ankle due to fall

My kids had fun - overall. My biggest concern is safety and staff - therefore the low rating. My son ended up breaking his ankle, and I understand that accidents happen, but when my husband went and asked staff for ice pack or first aid kit, the staff stated they had no such thing. He even went to the snack back to ask for a bag of ice and they said if they gave away a bag of ice to every injured person they wouldn't have ice for customers. It wasn't until I went there myself and angrily told them they need to give us an ice pack or ice for my son that they finally were willing. At first she offered me band aid ?!? And finally gave in and gave me some ice in their cotton candy bag. No one checked to see if we needed anything else, or some assistance. There's no staff on the rink to keep an eye on people/kids, making sure everyone is going the right way. Once in a while someone will state over the intercom that adults with skates should not be carrying little ones, however it was not actually implemented and I saw plenty of people skating while holding their children. While it is a fun time, it's not very safe. Be aware!

    Family fun!

Fun but they interrupt the music so often to talk, makes it not so enjoyable. But overall fun.

Unfortunately there's not a lot for kids to do in Visalia. Roller Towne in Visalia is not the exception. I would not recommend this place.

The process is simple: I checked which session was available, stood in line, signed the waiver before entering, and paid for the session. One thing to note spectators who aren't skating still need to pay a $5 admission fee. Inside, the atmosphere is always lively. The music is upbeat and keeps the kids entertained and having fun. They keep things interactive with activities on the rink like beginner backwards skating, speed races for all skill levels (beginner, intermediate, advanced), and even fun games like Red Light, Green Light that the kids absolutely love. Everyone takes turns getting off and back on the rink depending on the activity, which keeps it organized, fun, and engaging. Birthdays are a big deal here too they give shout-outs and host lots of birthday parties every weekend. They've also got food at the concession stand, lockers to secure belongings, and plenty of seating options (front row for rink views or more comfortable bench seating in the back). The arcade games with prizes are another highlight for kids. When you walk in, there's security with bag checks and metal detectors, which adds peace of mind for families. Overall, it's always a fun, family-friendly experience. My kids look forward to coming every chance we get, and it never disappoints. Highly recommend!

There are no lockers, so don't bring anything you can't carry with you. They have a max number of tickets they sell for each night so the ice rink isn't crowded. There are igloos you can rent for you and friends. There are vendors with hot chocolate and other goodies. There is a beautiful Christmas tree and the back drop is the security bank Building. It's so beautiful. Each night is a theme at the ice rink. We went went on Howard's night, but no one was following the theme. It was fun! There are also skating aids if you need them, they're cute seals and reindeer skate aids. I really hope they continue to do this each year.

I grew up rollerblading and ice skating is damn near the same thing, so my 40+ year old a*s was zooming around all the youngsters haha. For me, it was a little too small, so next time I skate, I am going to hit the actual rink so I can practice an axel or 360 or whatever they call it. Anyway, I still worked up a sweat to the point I took off my sweatahirt and was cruising around in a short sleeve. Someone left a harsh one star review earlier, but I happen to know she had a great time despite the lack of skates and place to put small shoulder bags. All in all, it was fun. We didn't grab any refreshments or cookies, but it seemed like they had a few small food/drink options that you may want during your 90 min time block

No one said "hi welcome what can I help you with" , " no , "hi how are you " instead She tells the young man that I needed to fill out paper work and continued to stare at me with an attitude. She walks me back to the bday room , turns on the lights , basically pushes the seal for the kids in the door and starts to walk out . I said " excuse me so what do I do from here . She said , "you get skates and skate , rolls her eyes and exits " . Since it was my daughter's birthday I didn't want to get my blood pressure sky high so , I just said ok thank you . Then I wanted to know when the pizza was going to come since we were waiting for it for over an hour and we paid 350$ for the room for an hour . She said sorry we have nothing to do with that . She said you probably should be asking the snack bar not her. So me and my husband went over to the snack bar. Staff is extremely rude , no customer service what so ever . The young man when I was trying to get skates was even looking at me and staring at me , not saying a word to me. It took the older gentleman to say hi to me so I can rent some skates . The kids working there need lessons in customer service . Here is a tip ... Leave the entitled attitude at the door, get off your phones, and take off the sunglasses ... Your in a building , UV rays aren't going to harm you . Flirt with guys outside of the work place. Be professional and enthusiastic coming to your job . If you don't like your job then go find another . I would not recommend this place at all. They are the only ice rink in town , and as of now can get away with it. Over priced

Once the disco lights started and the pace picked up, the environment felt much less safe. Some skaters were going very fast and weaving around children who were clearly beginners. It became stressful rather than enjoyable, especially for younger or inexperienced skaters. It might be helpful to offer separate skate times, one for beginners and intermediate skaters and another for more proficient or advanced skaters- to make the experience safer and more enjoyable for everyone. Overall, it has a lot of potential and could be a fantastic family-friendly spot with a few adjustments to skating flow and safety.

I took my 5 year old for his first ever time skating and they have a skate mate that helps people that are just learning to balance with out killing themselves! It was our first time, and both the inside and outside were a little run down. I was happy to see there was a police there to secure the parking lot. But everyone kept to their own for the most part and cooperated smoothly on the roller rink, so I had no concerns. The music was also not very family oriented. Near the end the music was toned down a bit and I saw a few more families arriving with small children which was nice to see. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. We didn't try the small arcade or any food/snacks they also sell, so I can't review those. But based off the helpful staff and our children enjoying roller skating, we will be back.
