I'm at Roller Towne right now... Friday, March 6th. I just witnessed a team member stand on a table up attach a birthday banner to the ceiling tiles. The team member didn't wipe off the table. No telling what was on the bottom of those shoes. Now people are sitting there with gifts and food touching the uncleaned surface. read more

Fun but they interrupt the music so often to talk, makes it not so enjoyable. But overall fun.

Needs to provide memberships. 11$+ for entry is crazy. Especially for those who frequent. Would like to see the area add a second roller rink. Maybe even a larger one. I'm originally from so cal so this place is underwhelming. read more

Tulare County has remained in the purple tier for quite some time now so they are accustomed more to rules and regulations more than Fresno County who has fluctuated. Despite the madness, Roller Towne has kept their doors open with proper precautions (temperature checks, masks required, social distancing, limited capacity). What started off as something to do ended up becoming a new hobby and something I thoroughly enjoy. Roller Towne is super fun because it brings out the kid in me. They play music to get you pumped, turn on disco balls and black lights, and often play games like red light green light with prizes. Admission and skate rental are reasonably priced as well. For all these reasons, Roller Towne will continue to be a business I support and tell my friends about! read more

I took my nephews (7 & 10) for a fun night of skating and we ended up leaving before the games began. The music choice was entirely inappropriate for children. It was an explicit Kendrick Lamar song (that was Explicit and NOT a radio edit) that threw me! Not only did the song have curse words it also had sexual content. We quickly packed up and left. I'm thankful for the young lady at the front gave us a refund. However, They need to have a warning on their flyers so families know what type of environment they are taking their kids to and not be blind sighted. read more

Music is quite a big deal to me when I am roller-skating: Life on wheels was my favorite workout as a kid, and so I can achieve a similar sense of enthusiasm and energy if I can skate to the music that takes me back. I feel challenged to try my old tricks again. So when I asked these guys for more theme nights which feature a few blasts from the past, and they get RIGHT back to me and promise me more, heck they do not just get 5 stars from me, they get 10 stars!! It is rare the roller-rink that will do this for my generation, but I know SO many roller-skaters my age who feel like I do about it: just 1 night for those oldie but goody tunes! Keeps a spring in my step for the whole week. The workers here are VERY friendly people. Just a great bunch. read more

I brought an ice cream cake and they went ahead and put it in the refrigerator for me, then they tell me my party couldn't have it. Very frustrating knowing i brought a cake and they wont give it back if that was the case i would have just gone to chuck e cheese or even better deft thats just down the shopping center. read more

Positives: only $10 total for skates along with roller skating! What a deal! Got to try roller skating for the very first time in my life, and trust me, I fell a number of times but I was actually improving slowly throughout the 2 hours I was there on Thursday. It was fun and more of a workout than I expected. Definitely a pleasing experience. If you never tried roller skating before, this is a great site to try it out at. Negatives: only open limited days and hours...for instance, Thursday from 6-8. Fridays-Sundays have expanded hours, but one would hope they'd open every single day of the week since there is a population over 130,000 in Visalia, not to mention the surrounding cities who may have folks wanting to roller skate/blade. Also, I wish I knew beforehand but the skate sizes don't match shoe size. So if you're a 9.5 inch shoe size, get something at least half an inch larger because my feet were hurting by the end. read more

Unfortunately there's not a lot for kids to do in Visalia. Roller Towne in Visalia is not the exception. I would not recommend this place.

My kids had fun - overall. My biggest concern is safety and staff - therefore the low rating. My son ended up breaking his ankle, and I understand that accidents happen, but when my husband went and asked staff for ice pack or first aid kit, the staff stated they had no such thing. He even went to the snack back to ask for a bag of ice and they said if they gave away a bag of ice to every injured person they wouldn't have ice for customers. It wasn't until I went there myself and angrily told them they need to give us an ice pack or ice for my son that they finally were willing. At first she offered me band aid ?!? And finally gave in and gave me some ice in their cotton candy bag. No one checked to see if we needed anything else, or some assistance. There's no staff on the rink to keep an eye on people/kids, making sure everyone is going the right way. Once in a while someone will state over the intercom that adults with skates should not be carrying little ones, however it was not actually implemented and I saw plenty of people skating while holding their children. While it is a fun time, it's not very safe. Be aware! read more

Oh boy where do I start. I'm gonna make a bullet style list of my experience here during my niece's 6th birthday party. - the place was clean and fun to look at - they charged me full price for my 2 sons (5 and 9) who would NOT be skating. Apparently only sitting parents are allowed to be discounted, sitting children are full price. Dumb. - they charged us $43 for a "pizza pass" then proceeded to charge us $14 PER PIZZA that was brought out. When we asked about what the pizza pass even was, she said something about the members of our party that were eating or something like that. It made so little sense I can't even remember the nonsense jargon she spat out. Basically, it's a fee they charge you so you can eat the pizza you paid for. So dumb. - so at our party there were these confetti- filled balloons. We were told "just so you know, if any of those balloons pop you will be charged a $20 confetti cleaning fee"... THEY PROVIDE THE CONFETTI BALLOONS. - we were there (15 of us) from 7p-9p and over that time they brought us 3 pitchers of water. It was so hot in there that each pitcher was gone in seconds, and we had to wait around 40 minutes for more water to come out. We were NOT allowed to ask for more water. We were told she would bring it out regularly, but she did not. - the wheels on the skates I rented were so tight my right foot lost speed almost immediately, so skating was frustrating because I was always having to compensate for my junky wheels. - they did not have a size 13 for my brother to rent (a fairly common size, no?) So he had to settle for a 12 all night. Which he said was very painful. Please, if you are considering going here, I implore you to go somewhere else. They are a scam, and will charge you for EVERYTHING they can, and then add on 4 or 5 more charges on top of that. read more

I took my kids here and for their first time roller skating. As for myself transitioning from ice hockey to quad skates was a culture shock in itself. And so skating from ice to hard floor was different. We came on a busy Thursday night where it seemed packed onto the rink floor to where it was difficult for my kids to skate through the traffic. My thought was that we should have picked a better time where less people frequented here for them to practice more freely. Now about the skating joint it looked old, ordinary and had that funky smell of feet. Food is expensive to where we only bought one drink to share, not good. They frequently have games in the middle of a 2 hour skate session which interrupts you during your skate time. I'd say the music selection is pretty good playing most of the songs I grew up with along with the ones I heard at previous rinks. Also a plus is that they have roller hockey which the sport is rare here in the central valley. read more

Visited this weekend with my niece and nephew for the open skating session! Was definitely more expensive then expected (48/ 4 people) but was a lot of fun! One complaint was the heat - it was so hot and muggy inside even while not skating. Otherwise a really fun weekend activity! read more

I was so excited to hear that Roller Towne was having a day Camp. My daughter needed a place to go while I'm at work. We tried a place before and my daughter was too distracted and she kept getting kicked off the internet because there were too many kids sharing the same one. So I reached out & we got a scholarship! She's been attending for three weeks now. I received a Great report from my daughters teacher that she's been excelling since she's been at Roller Towne. She loves being part of this group, she does her school work and then she gets to skate. And she's so happy to go everyday. Thank you Roller Towne! I don't know what I work do with out you! I used to love Roller Towne but some constructive criticism. Offer fountain water especially when we buy a bunch of stuff. They ran out of the polish dogs and then ran out of hotdogs. Small slice of pizza for $2.50. Wasn't very good. Slurpies were good though. Floor seemed a bit jagged and uneven. read more

Everything was great having a birthday party there! They are attentive, helped decorate, announced my daughters name and let us choose a song, very helpful with every single detail. The only thing we did not enjoy was the pizza. Everyone in my party was disgusted with the taste of pizza. Please rollertowne get a different brand of pizza. Rude, dangerous. I've been to several skating rinks, and this was by far the worst. The employees were unfriendly, and the skating rink floor is made of plastic squares. It's not as smooth as it should be; you can actually feel each tile ridge while skating. Further, we ordered large waters. We were told the waters cost the same as sodas. I get that- I know a lot of places use a cup inventory system. Fine. However, they refused to refill our cups with tap water, too. So, spent a ton of money, still thirsty. Uncool. Also, I don't feel that this particular establishment followed general safety rules. Groups of people were standing on the skate floor, many in tennis shoes. People were allowed to share the wrong direction, and it was common for someone to turn suddenly in front of me to head the other way. Due to the chaos and lumpy floor, we had more falls than usual. I don't recommend going here. read more

We had a blast. I have not rollerskating for 30 years. Got back up and started skating along within five minutes. Not too many people. Lots of helpers around. The place could've been a touch cleaner but what the heck can you expect. I would definitely come back. read more

Straight out of the 1980's. Complete with games. Pretty reasonably priced and your choice of old school 4 wheels or the new inlines. P.S. This is exercise. Far more that what you remember as a kid. And falling hurts. You won't bounce like the kids. read more
