So I first heard of this food truck at a food truck round-up/ competition where they came in no.1 and actually, I didn't try them there... but I sure did wonder what was making everyone crazy for quesadillas.
Today they came to my workplace. It was pouring rain. And I without a lunch. I peeked outside and was SHOCKED to see them parked there and staying parked there- despite the buckets of rain.
Serious props to these guys for not packing it up due to weather and leaving those like me without any chance to try yummy quesadillas.
I was a little sad that the only veggie option was a plain cheese quesadilla, but they promised to have more veggie options next time (also points to them!). And if you think that maybe this was one of those sad, thin, cheese quesadillas, THINK AGAIN. I think they gave me maybe several pounds of cheese.
This is, without a doubt, the most cheese I have eaten in one sitting. I was very excited at first. Halfway through I was a little worried. But did I keep eating? Yes, yes I did.
If you believe there is no such thing as too much cheese, these are your people. And I think that had there been something besides cheese in my quesadilla it would have been perfect, glorious heaven. As it was, maaaaybe it was too much cheese for safe consumption by a single human being (however, this is a subjective matter I leave to other reviewers to decide).
Ultimately, though I maybe have gone into a temporary cheese induced coma, I think overall, their generosity with the cheese is a pro, as long as you get one of the offerings that has some other things also in the quesadilla.
So, four stars for the generosity with said cheese, but also not five stars because I can't be trusted with so much cheese. read more
