This used to be one of our favorite ice cream places. However, the last time we visited a young man that was working was very rude and condescending. Obviously he did not want to be working or interact with the customers. It was also extremely dirty. The floor looks like it hasn't been cleaned in a very long time as you can see from the photos posted. We needed to use the restroom but decided if the main area looked this bad...we were scared of what the restrooms looked like. I hope the owners train their employees better and clean. This place has an astounding selection of ice cream flavors! I also appreciate that they offer many nondairy options too and they have milkshakes, taiyaki, hot foods and more. I tried the nondairy coffee rolled ice cream ($10 for a medium), and it was very flavorful, but had a very hard consistency initially that I thought the spoon was going to snap. It wasn't until it had melted for 15 minutes when it became more smooth to eat. Otherwise very delicious! The staff are very friendly and greet everyone who walks in. They also let you know when they are making the rolled ice cream if you are not at the counter so you can watch the process. It only took a couple minutes and was very satisfying to watch! The rolled ice cream is amazing, it's THE best ice cream you can get in Orlando for a good price. We got a large coconut ice cream with mango, pineapple, and strawberry mixed in. All the toppings taste natural and good. Also the smoothies are natural from Columbia. The owner, Louis, is super nice and so was the lady rolling the ice cream! They both welcomed us into their store and initiated good conversation like they genuinely care. I was a bit thrown off by the $1 for each spoon or bowl, but when I asked him it was because they conducted a yearlong survey and found they spent $6k extra in extra spoons and bowls. Great open and inviting atmosphere. The service was excellent both from the young man behind the counter to Louis, the owner himself. This was our first time here but it won't be our last!! First of all, the owner's recommendations was spot on. The Almond Joy flavor literally tastes like am Almond Joy, My husband got his with just the I've cream itself but I opted to add in some Reese's peanut butter chunks and cookie dough. Watching the younger guy make it was very cool so please tip well as I imagine it has to be pretty tiring for the arms!! Even with my toppings mixed in, the Almond Joy flavor still stood out the most. We both loved it. My husband ordered the small for himself but the medium for me and it was a lot. But of course, it was so good, I couldn't stop eating it and just about ate it all. Extra, extra cardio tomorrow!!!! Louis, the owner spoke to us at the counter but also walks around and speaks to everyone sitting down. We ordered at the counter and paid cash. We were charged a 3% customer service fee. When we asked, no one could explain what the customer service fee was. The manager and her employee just kept repeating that the owner put the customer service fee into the system and was the onky one who could make any changes to it. She was not able to remove it. I then checked the freestanding kiosk. If you place an order there, you are not charged a customer service fee. My friends and I showed up 30 mins before closing and the staff took great care of us. They had so many favors and toppings to choose from. I went with the Thai Tea ice cream flavor and Cinnamon Toast Crunch topping mixed in and it was a delicious combo. I do think it is a bit overpriced for ice cream though, so that's my one negative! The staff even made sure we had access to a trash can to dispose of our cups because they were closing and there are no public trash cans outside. Their reward program is very deceiving. It says your 6th ice cream is free as if after purchasing 5 ice creams you will get one free. This is not the case. They give you a stamp for one visit and it doesn't matter how many ice creams you purchase during the trip. So really it should be ONE free ice cream after your 5th VISIT. It's also very pricey. I believe a small was like $8. If it tasted great then I'd understand the price but it's nothing special. You are paying for them to roll the ice cream. read more

I visited on Thursday afternoon & ordered through the kiosk I paid practically $50.00 for 2 sundaes & 1 milkshake for whatever reason the kiosk glitched (not really sure what happened) but specifically ordered 1 caramel sundae (which tasted like chemicals almost like it was warmed up inside a microwave or something & the caramel was so hard I ended up throwing it away) 1 plain sundae with condensed milk (which the girl brought up to me with pineapples) while dealing with me & having a different customer patiently wait for lids I explained to the girl that was not the correct item it's not supposed to have pineapples the worker looked me dead in my eyes & stated "that's what you paid for so I'm not remaking it" she's going back and forth with me about "the kiosk hasn't made mistakes" "that's what you paid for" etc (MIND YOU!! All infront of another customer) that ice cream was for my sister whose allergic to pineapples... I patiently waited for my last item which the other girl working there brought to me (she was wearing black) she tried offering lids & the other girl who I initially was working with rudely states "no she doesn't" the ice creams I ordered were for to go what sense does it make too even have anyone leave without a covered ice cream unless the customer asked for no lid??? I very annoyingly/pissed off said to the girl who offered lids "I guess I do not I will take the ice creams that I paid for even though 1 isn't correct but that girl refused too make it correctly" due to the lack of customer service I will never be stepping inside this location or any of your locations because these types of interactions are not acceptable and if you're considering going be prepared of their rude business. read more

The consistency of the ice cream stayed firm throughout the whole 10 minutes that it took me to eat it. Everything is homemade so you're guaranteed to get a true taste of what makes this place unique. Service. There are two ways of placing your order. Either by the self service screens across from the main counter, or personally with one of the employees at the register. When they have all of your mix-ins handy, they call you by your name to let you know that your order is being prepared. Though I'm not a stickler for this, I really appreciated that they wore masks while they prepared and served my order. Whether you care for it or not, they also engage in small conversations with you as they are preparing your order, which is a lot more pleasant than any awkward silence. Atmosphere. There are plenty of places around to snap some good photos. Establishment is clean, the music is not too loud, and it feels like an inviting place for families and the general public. Price. I ordered a medium size, rolled "Whatchamacallit" ice cream, in a chocolate with rainbow sprinkles bowl for $9.36. Overall thoughts? It was worth every penny. I'm solely commenting on their sugar free options. My family was excited to find this place, and try the sugar free ice cream. Good SF Ice cream is hard to come by. They have a good selection of flavors. I got the salted caramel and my family got Hazelnut and coconut. We were told before ordering that "a cup is better then a cone" why? We weren't given an explanation by the man at the counter. We always get our ice cream in cones, and was not given a reason to change that. We should have gotten cups. The ice cream melts very fast. About half of my ice cream ended up dripping on my hands and the ground. The same thing happened to all of us. We tried to finish our ice cream soup as quickly as possible. What we expected to be one of our best SF experiences quickly became our worst. The guy behind the counter hyped it up so well, too bad the consistency didn't deliver. It was fun to watch them make the rolled ice cream. They spread the liquid ice cream on the cold slab and then scrape it up into rolls. It tasted thick and creamy like Greek yogurt. Delicious! The ordering process was a little strange. I had to manually write down my order on a piece of paper for each item. Why not electronic ordering? After having dinner at Papa Lozzi's, my boyfriend's family suggested grabbing dessert here since it's in the next door plaza. It looked interesting and I'd wanted to try it so we all went to have some ice cream. They are adhering to COVID-19 protocols (which is appreciated), so the inside was not open. You order at a window they have set up and there are several benches nearby where you can sit and enjoy your ice cream. I decided to try the Nutella flavor of rolled ice cream in a chocolate waffle bowl. You can watch it being made through the window which is pretty cool. Unfortunately, I found the ice cream underwhelming. It's pretty, but it didn't have a lot of flavor. The rolls look nice, but it's not the easiest to eat as it's a little difficult to get bites on the spoon. It seemed a case where the presentation was there, but the taste just wasn't that great. It's also a little overpriced in my opinion, but their portions are really big (I ordered a small and could have easily shared one with my boyfriend if I'd realized how large it was.) There weren't any garbage cans outside either, but the staff did take our empty cups through the window to dispose of. The people working were friendly and maybe I'd try their scooped ice cream if I was in the area again. I mean, some interesting stuff is happening inside this restaurant, or ice cream parlor. The flavors for the ice cream were good, not amazing (we are always looking for amazing right?), but they make the ice cream right in your face, so plan and time yourself accordingly.
