    Grilled Honey Chicken Teriyaki Bowl
    Adrianna N.

Recently tried this place as I work in the area and I was not disappointed. It has become a true fav of mine. Not only is it a great value but I thoroughly enjoy my meal every time. My go to is the honey chicken bowl with rice. It's $13 and usually lasts me about 2 meals, they are generous with the portions. Staff is friendly and kind. I typically do takeout but wouldn't mind eating there. There's a small few tables to dine in. So thankful for this spot!

DISGUSTING!!! This isn't my first time I usually eat here once every 2 weeks and typically enjoy the food. Today was different, at least I was paying attention this time. First piece of my roll found 1 HAIR. Pushed it aside thinking I'll get through the rest of the roll but ended up finding HAIR THROUGH OUT THE WHOLE ROLL FROM ONE END TO THE OTHER! This was purposely done by one of the employees. I complained and asked for a refund. There was NO DENIAL or EXCUSE, just employees that couldn't look me in the eye because of guilt. I will never return to this place and I will hopefully complain to the health department until that sign up front turns red.

A new restaurant located in the Arden Arcade area right next to Jimboy's. Plenty of shared parking. The place is pretty small with a handful of tables and chairs. I went with the 50/50 Beef and Spicy Pork and rice bowl. Good size portion of meat! I was plenty full after eating it. I also ordered eggrolls. They were good but nothing special. Size is 1/2 the normal size of an eggroll. I didn't detect any meat in them so I consider them overpriced for basically fried cabbage roll. Overall I enjoyed the food and would eat here again.

The rice was super mushy and the avacado was browned .. the guy also forgot to charge me and I had to remind him I hadn't paid yet. I only tried this place cause I was in the general area for something else but to say the least it's definitely not worth the drive back.

So l had a hunger for a rice bowl and I just remembered I saw The Wok was a new (ish) place that went in near me so I figure why not. Upon entering the place is small with only a few tables, however it was clean and well lit and smelled as you would suspect a restaurant to smell. I went with the Chicken katsu rice bowl, the wife ordered the crispy California roll and we split some potstickers... Everything was really good and the Chicken katsu was one of the best I had. I didn't even bite down on one piece of fatty chicken the flavors were all there and everything was delicious. The service was great as well there was a young guy and a young girl and both were very friendly and explained to me what items were chicken breast over thigh. My order took a minute to make but that's to be expected when they are making things once you order. Everything was cooked well, seasoned well, and the staff was fun and made the whole experience enjoyable.

What a great little location in the Arden-arcade area. This 16 seater restaurant serves some great Korean and sushi options. I had the spicy pork noodle bowl. It's a large portion and reasonably priced. Definitely popular with to go orders. The staff was super knowledgeable and helpful with suggestions. I will be back.

Solid restaurant to get tasty Japanese teriyaki and sushi rolls! The shop is small, but very clean and has plenty of tables inside to eat. We tried bunch of different dishes including teriyaki chicken and beef bowl and both had a really good char flavor to them. Teriyaki chicken was hot and juicy, definitely a must try item. They also have a great selection of sushi rolls. We tried their Dragon roll and baked salmon roll, they were both fresh and tasty. The pricing throughout their menu is very affordable, which I find incredibly appealing in this world of crazy inflation. We'll definitely be back!

Chicken katsu a la carte. Large portion can be shared with two people.

We've been pleasantly surprised with this place. Very affordable, good portions and tasty options. We have gotten chicken katsu, chicken teriyaki, the chicken noodle bowl which comes with broccoli and teriyaki chicken, a few of the different sushi rolls and we have been happy with everything we have gotten there. The noodle bowl is a large portion that can be shared with two people.

Easily the best sushi on Arden. Great prices. Great service. Great Air Conditioning. Hard to see front door from parking lot. I drove right past and went to the Wok. Thank god I came here. My new go to. Sooo many options! Music was the best!!! I don't want to leave!! 21 questions will definitely be back. With everyone I know

Came here for dinner a couple of times, the first time I ordered the rainbow roll ($15) which is my barometer for sushi at restaurants. Decently sized, the fish was fresh and the roll was filling. Daughter ordered the ramen ($18) with the red option, which she enjoyed with the plethora of toppings. Dinner the second time, I got the teishoku set with salmon ($21). Two decently filets of salmon came with rice, miso soup, salad, deep fried egg roll and salad. You also get a choice of either croquette or chawanmushi. The chawanmushi was a highlight for me! I missed eating this savory custard when I used to live in Japan. Their version did not disappoint! Double Toro roll 8/10 - my date loved it, I'm just not a big roll fan Spicy scallop hand roll 9/10 - super delicious, scallops were fresh Unagi hand roll - 10/10 - I didn't even get to try it, my date loved it Tuna maki roll - 10/10 - simple, delicious We will definitely be coming back. I will say my only note is that we ordered the appetizers first and actually waited to order our mains in hopes that the appetizers would come out first. Instead my mains came out before the appetizers and then my dates came after the appetizers came out. Everything was delicious but I hope that isn't a common habit as it made the meal feel a bit rushed and the waitresses were commenting about how much we ordered and if we could eat it all... everyone was very nice though. A little cold in the actual restaurant but makes sense to keep the fish cold.

The chicken karage was cripsy and juicy and very good. The spicy tuna roll was fresh and the rainbow roll is good. I got the tommy roll and it was the best thing I have even eaten, sushi-wise. I went next with a miso soup, ample size for a serving. I was prepared for a salty spoonful on my first spoonful, But I was surprised to have a nicely flavored soup with scallions and tofu. And not salty at all. I might have to grap a second bowl to go as it was so good. Next, I went with my server John's suggestions the Flaming Srooms, Tempura Mushrooms with crab mix cream cheese jalapeños, special sauce shaved Bonita flakes and green onions. They came out very hot and if you know Mushrooms never put one in your mouth right from the oven or fryer as you will burn your mouth. So I enjoyed the smell of it for a couple of minutes before biting into one. I did expect a larger mushroom bit the top was filled with imitation crab and cream cheese. smaller mushroom then I expected for sure. Almost like a mushroom crab ragoon, Mushroom lovers will like this. Next I went with the Spicy Johnny roll. the Tuna and the eel are the major flavors here with the sauces, not spicy for me but possibly for others. And finally ended with a simple Spicy Salmon roll. they add chillies powder and Sesame oil which is different then most east coast places I was sitting around enjoying my meal as they were getting close to closing. I was impressed on the details they took on cleaning the entire restaurant and even the walls. I would definitely come back when I am in town.

I dunno why, I guess maybe not that popular with the local customers, like everything Teriyaki and Sushi and fried Tempura. Everybody has those, but no actual Sukiyaki! So I was happy to see Sukiyaki in the name of this restaurant and see it on the menu! I just wish it was closer to me in Red Bluff and not all the way down here in Sacramento. I was in the area, so I had a chance to stop in. I came with one other friend that was interested in trying the Sukiyaki as well. They offer sushi on the menu as well as all the more common Japanese dishes like Teriyaki. That's kinda like the sweet and sour of Chinese food, it's everywhere. Service was super friendly and I ordered the Beef Sukiyaki and my friend ordered the Chicken Sukiyaki. For sort of an appetizer we ordered some salmon sashimi. Tea to drink for us. The sashimi comes out first. Decent sized portion and the salmon was super tender melt in your mouth like it should be for sashimi. Then our big bowls arrive. My beef sukiyaki smelled wonderful. The chicken sukiyaki was good smelling too, but not as strong as the beef version. They both were super hot, so we needed to let them cool a little. Meanwhile I used my chopsticks and pulled out some of the beef. Blow to cool and tasted it. Wow, this was super good flavor and tender, not all chewy like it could be. The broth was seasoned just right, just the right sweetness and saltiness combined with tofu and veggies. The noodles were cooked just perfect. The chicken version, my friend liked a lot. She's not a big red meat eater like me, so it was good they offered a chicken version. The portions in the bowl were so big, we barely finished and were stuffed. I'll definitely come back here again if I'm in the area. This is way better than Vietnamese Pho that's for sure.

I would often come around noon during the week, and order the Thai chicken bento box. Unfortunately one of the days I came, I found a fingernail in the California roll. Bit into the roll, and the fingernail as well. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Immediately lost my appetite and wanted to throw up. I flagged my server down (all the employees here are super nice), and showed her the fingernail. She took it to the back and reported it to a manager or supervisor I suppose. When she came back she told me that their California rolls are pre-made, so if you're ordering these rolls BE CAREFUL. She offered to remake the bento box to which I shared no. I asked for my tab and when she came back she said it was on the house and did not ask me to pay (nice gesture, but I mean when you find a whole fingernail in your food, that's the least that can be done). Safe to save, I have not gone back since then and probably won't. If I did, I'm definitely staying far away from the California roll. This happened to me last year, so hoping some changes in their hygiene and making of California rolls have been made since then.
