What i got was 6 pieces(oh i counted) of chicken which was soggy, with yakisoba noodles and rice? When did i say i wanted rice? Food is blend and not packed like it was. Sure its hard times but we are willing to pay for quality and quantity. This place was ths go to spot a few months ago but now please make it a dont go to. Recently tried this place as I work in the area and I was not disappointed. It has become a true fav of mine. Not only is it a great value but I thoroughly enjoy my meal every time. My go to is the honey chicken bowl with rice. It's $13 and usually lasts me about 2 meals, they are generous with the portions. Staff is friendly and kind. I typically do takeout but wouldn't mind eating there. There's a small few tables to dine in. So thankful for this spot! read more

A new restaurant located in the Arden Arcade area right next to Jimboy's. Plenty of shared parking. The place is pretty small with a handful of tables and chairs. I went with the 50/50 Beef and Spicy Pork and rice bowl. Good size portion of meat! I was plenty full after eating it. I also ordered eggrolls. They were good but nothing special. Size is 1/2 the normal size of an eggroll. I didn't detect any meat in them so I consider them overpriced for basically fried cabbage roll. DISGUSTING!!! This isn't my first time I usually eat here once every 2 weeks and typically enjoy the food. Today was different, at least I was paying attention this time. First piece of my roll found 1 HAIR. Pushed it aside thinking I'll get through the rest of the roll but ended up finding HAIR THROUGH OUT THE WHOLE ROLL FROM ONE END TO THE OTHER! This was purposely done by one of the employees. I complained and asked for a refund. There was NO DENIAL or EXCUSE, just employees that couldn't look me in the eye because of guilt. The rice was super mushy and the avacado was browned .. the guy also forgot to charge me and I had to remind him I hadn't paid yet. I only tried this place cause I was in the general area for something else but to say the least it's definitely not worth the drive back. read more

So l had a hunger for a rice bowl and I just remembered I saw The Wok was a new (ish) place that went in near me so I figure why not. Upon entering the place is small with only a few tables, however it was clean and well lit and smelled as you would suspect a restaurant to smell. I went with the Chicken katsu rice bowl, the wife ordered the crispy California roll and we split some potstickers... Everything was really good and the Chicken katsu was one of the best I had. I didn't even bite down on one piece of fatty chicken the flavors were all there and everything was delicious. The service was great as well there was a young guy and a young girl and both were very friendly and explained to me what items were chicken breast over thigh. My order took a minute to make but that's to be expected when they are making things once you order. What a great little location in the Arden-arcade area. This 16 seater restaurant serves some great Korean and sushi options. I had the spicy pork noodle bowl. It's a large portion and reasonably priced. Definitely popular with to go orders. The staff was super knowledgeable and helpful with suggestions. I will be back. read more

Solid restaurant to get tasty Japanese teriyaki and sushi rolls! The shop is small, but very clean and has plenty of tables inside to eat. We tried bunch of different dishes including teriyaki chicken and beef bowl and both had a really good char flavor to them. Teriyaki chicken was hot and juicy, definitely a must try item. They also have a great selection of sushi rolls. We tried their Dragon roll and baked salmon roll, they were both fresh and tasty. The food was decent, and I appreciated that the staff was responsive--when I mentioned my baked salmon roll was cold, the gentleman kindly offered to heat it up more, which he did. However, the overall dining experience was disappointing. I was there with my 16-month-old daughter, and unfortunately, we had to sit through a group of four young men who I believe 2 or 3 were employees at a nearby table loudly using profanity and speaking in an extremely inappropriate and vulgar manner. The workers are really nice, the rolls and really cheap and really good! You can get filled up by just one! I work next door and I always come here for my lunch break. It's really cozy inside, and it has a nice view; I personally love sitting next to the windows since the sun always hits everything perfectly as well. This placed opened up recently in our neighborhood and I have not had a chance to check it out, and saw good reviews, so we decided to check it out. It was during lunch hour, but the place was empty. The restaurant was small but clean, with few tables inside. The girl behind the counter was friendly and explained to us we could order from either her or the kiosk that was next to the counter. We opted to use the kiosk, although the employee stood there and answered any questions we may have. My daughter & I ordered Roll & Bowl special (I ordered tofu & vegetable roll, my daughter ordered grilled chicken & vegetable roll), and her fiancé ordered regular ttukbokki. Ttukbokki came out first, good serving size although somewhat watery & rice cake was semi-soft, but he stated it tasted "okay". It took a long time afterwards for our Roll & Bowl special to arrive. Serving size, for the most part, was very generous. We both had a cup of rice, chicken/tofu, and a vegetable roll esthetically placed on a plate. However amount of tofu on the plate left me dumbfounded... it was 4 pieces of cooked tofu the size of pat of butter. I regret not taking a picture, but I think I was somewhat shocked at the moment. Also when they brought out the food, they didn't offer any wasabi or the sliced gingers. We had to ask for that and the chopsticks. Moving on... I was looking forward to the vegetable roll (avocado, cucumber & tempura asparagus) I put one piece into my mouth only to be further disappointed. The tempura batter on the asparagus was stale, the asparagus itself very tough. It was definitely not freshly cooked. Both my daughter & I had to toss out the asparagus. All I could think at that point was there is no way I'm coming back, and wondering how long this business will last. I have never been so disappointed with a simple vegetable roll in my entire life! I left 2 stars because of the cleanliness of the restaurant, friendliness of staff, and the portion size. If they want the business to survive, they need to work on the QUALITY of their food. Decent prices for the portion of food you get and taste as well, staff were quick, nice and brought a good mood to the place. There is enough parking the only thing is that the place doesn't have many tables so if a lot of people happen to come in at once there won't much space but I don't know how often that happens. read more

This place was great! Got the teriyaki chicken bowl with rice and broccoli. The chicken was perfectly seasoned and had a nice tasty char flavor. The broccoli was perfectly steamed too.
