On vehicle pickup I asked the mechanic present what brand of plugs and coolant they used. He would not or could not tell me. He responded that they used whatever is OEM from their parts supplier. There can be lots of variability in parts that can be used, and claiming OEM. Simple question but vague, dismissive answer after paying over $1000 for the work. After getting my keys, I opened the hood to check the engine area (something I always do after having engine work done). Found a pair of pliers left in the engine compartment. Same mechanic came out seeing me with the hood open and asked if there was a problem, to which I said yes and handed him the pliers noting where I found them. Price as high as the dealer. I will likely pick dealer service in the future, all things considered.
