I wasn't allowed in, some POS employee there must of profiled my lady and I at the door. I'm turning 50 next month and retiring, I had a big day in the market today and after an early celebratory dinner we decided to go look for the Rolex I've wanted. We are standing roasting at a locked door, confused as to why this POS is just standing there. He finally comes to the door and puts his hand out to stop me like a crossing guard for children, he asks "what are you here for?" WTF do you think for.... To sell cookies. He looks back into what looked like an empty store and says can you wait out here a little longer, like yeah we'll stand out here cooking in the sun. Today I stopped by to let them know to take me off their waitlist for the James Cameron Deepsea. Unfortunately, it was raining when I stopped by and at the door I was told that all their sales persons were occupied and that I would have to wait outside. I asked if I could wait just inside their foyer area to get out from the rain, unbelievably, I was denied. After a few minutes, I was allowed in and told the AD as a courtesy to them that I already got the Deepsea l wanted from another AD. I also asked them to take me off of their list for the Pepsi GMT-Master II that I was looking for as well, I no longer wanted to give them my business. Making a customer wait in the rain to me is totally unacceptable and now I am happy to spend my money elsewhere. read more

BUYER BEWARE!!! ROBBERY! Visited the Newbury location this Saturday around 5pm. Purchased an 18k yellow gold $40k watch. Bags were brought out to my car by armed security guard. I went straight home without any stops. I live in Newton which is approximately 25 minutes away. Thieves followed me in their car and my purchase was stolen out of my car within 30 minutes of walking out of the store. Poof and gone! Went back to the store at 12 the next day Sunday and met with their head of security, Gary. Head of security told me that they are not at fault and he feels security is at 110% at the store. He told me that they never had similar situation and customers walk out with watch purchases over 5 times the cost of my purchase. How's that for customer service? I pointed out that they hire out a third party security team who I saw was texting away on his personal cell phone and smiling instead of being aware of security of the store that day. The store was very busy and people were loitering outside plus line of people waiting to get in. Gary told me nothing is wrong with that! Security in an AD ROLEX boutique being on personal cell phones seems to be a normal occurrence and not frowned upon by head of security. My friend was at the store making a purchase Sunday witnessed another security guard talking on his cell phone through his air pods. How is that professional? Horrible experience and felt victimized twice in a span of less than 24 hours. I hope the Longs family are aware of this occurrence and take matters into their own hands because nothing about this situation is ok. Newton police are involved and a secondary police report will be filed first thing this upcoming week in Boston. I plan on having my attorney reach out to landlord of Newbury building and Rolex flagship store to advise them of this situation and the safety of their customers. I truly hope no one ever feels the way that I am feeling. My personal information is displayed on the receipt that was in the bag and I no longer feel safe in my home following this ordeal. Never one to write reviews, but the experience I had at Long's Rolex Boutique on Newbury Street went so far above and beyond my expectations that I felt obliged to share the word with anyone who is in the market for a Rolex. There's a certain type of warm welcome here that is otherwise completely lacking at all of the other Authorized Rolex Dealer's I visited in search of my new watch. Given the inventory shortage, all of the other AD's I checked in with were apathetic about working with me at best, and even dismissive at times. Things are done much differently at Long's. The entire staff, including the boutique director treated me very warmly and were extremely interested in helping me get the exact watch that I was looking for. The communication and follow-up were second to none and within a very reasonable amount of time my gorgeous Rolex Sky Dweller arrived. On Sunday 3/27/22 I had the most surprising and exciting experience at Long's Rolex Boutique on Newbury in Boston. I was dropping my daughter off at Northeastern after a weekend at home and was going to stop by the Tourneau shop in the Copley place mall to drool over the "Pre-owned" Rolexes that I couldn't really justify. However before I decided to drive over I called the Rolex Boutique and politely asked if they had any actual inventory in stock. To my shock Brandy Young informed me that they did have limit inventory but do the volume of customers it was difficult to be sure what would be available by the time I made it over. I let her know I was on my way and would see her soon. Unfortunately since it was a Sunday I could not find parking anywhere for many blocks but eventually made my way to the shop. When I got there the store was crowed and there was a 30 minute wait on the curb before I could get. I would soon find out that it would be more than worth the wait. Brandy and the other staff really get to know you and give you the type of luxury experience you should receive when making a large purchase for a none essential item like a $6-$20K+ watch, champagne, beer, soda, coffee, water etc. I thought I would be in the store for 5 mins and told they didn't have anything I would be interested in, I was definitely wrong. Not that they had the exact watch I was looking for, in my case an Air King or specific blue dial Yacht Master 40 but they did have a very good selection of stunning 36mm and a few larger Datejusts available. More importantly I felt Brandy was very eager to help me source other watch these in the future. As I was shopping I had a tough decision between a Datejust 41 and a 36mm Datejust with a Wimbledon dial. This visit change my outlook on the Rolex brand. I thought I would never get a Rolex for list and would be forced to pay a huge markup to a Grey dealer if I ever wanted a watch.
