Even after our table was completely cleared, we waited another five full minutes without anyone bringing the check or acknowledging us. I finally had to get up and pay at the register on my way out. It is disappointing because the food was excellent and deserves to be matched with friendly, attentive service. We also acknowledged it to a waiter with the owner at her desk. Not once did they apologize for their bad service. With better hospitality and equal attention given to every table, this restaurant could be outstanding.

TWO PRO TIPS: First, They only take cash and second, like many places on Isla, they will screw you if you are paying with American dollars. They will take it but their 'conversion rate' is high. I would suggest finding "yellow" parking in the immediate surrounding area and walk to Sonny's. There is also a Sonny's "south" located at The Joint close to Punta Sur.
