If I could give this place 2,000 stars, I would! Great atmosphere, and even better food and drinks! They also offer a great happy hour by the bar.

Fantastic for celebrations or just to grab a bite. Incredibly fun atmosphere & a tasteful menu of sexy drinks, finger foods, & main courses. Love their fusion style of Latin mixed with Asian vibes. Very rememberable dinning experience. Will be back soon.

If you're looking for an intimate date night or cute girls night, then Roka Hula is for you. It is a cute speakeasy located inside Voodoo Bayou. In order to enter this beautiful establishment, you must sit in the two chairs on the wall while it spins you into another realm. The ambiance was literally to die for ! It was decorated exceptionally well and the vibes were vibing !! Our waitress was very welcoming and knowledgeable about her drink craft. She gave suggestions upon request and explained the reasoning behind each column of the drink menu. I ordered the kinky kitty which was very tasty. my friend order the el narco and the design along with side piece blew my mind ! For my entree, I ordered the Maine lobster sushi roll and my friend got the pork belly baos. Everything was a 10/10 !!!! I would definitely return to order the Maine lobster roll again. Reservations are HIGHLY RECOMMENDED due to the intimacy of the bar.

Cheetah everywhere! Walls, menu, bartop

This place is everything that I am all about. I like the creative mishmash of everything from the cheetah print everywhere on the carpet, chairs, bar top, walls, menu to the colorful lights and plants. And to top it off the waterfall was the best part, hearing that water trickling down. Forget about the cool moving roundabout chairs to get in the place Drinks were on fire and service was prompt. Everything I can ask for in a swanky lounge. Definitely want to try some of their dimsum items They were out of the go go devil drink which was on the top of my list to try. The monkey business had a yummy banana flavor and the sweet honeydew drink were on the favs, followed by the balanced hell boy and freaky Franky - too tart for me There's no signage but you can find it inside, once you go in, by the entrance, of the Voodoo Bayou restaurant on the right. You can go through the switching walls with the cheetah, seats and roses background but you can also walk a little bit down and go through the hallways entrance - less dramatic but nice with the waterfall by that entrance

Let me start off by saying this is a cute place for photo ops! I went on a Saturday night and it was very packed. I highly recommend that you make reservations. Our server was very nice and gave us plenty of time to look over the menu. The food and drinks were very good. I got the pork belly fried rice which was soooo good with plenty of rice! Overall this is a great speakeasy for a girls night or romantic date. I highly recommend and a will be returning.

Was looking for a nice speakeasy and this one was so cute! The decorations was nice the music was good and the dim sum was delicious! We got the wagyu beef ones and of my gosh! And we had some drinks which were as well great! Overall a nice place to grab a drink and relax . Our server was very kind and helpful with options to pick from.

Roka Hula is an incredible addition to the area. First, getting a reservation is quite difficult, but were able to snag a couple seats at the bar by asking at the counter. Luckily, it was easy for us, and I hope for you too. I can't wait to go back and try more drinks. The two we got were strong, but flavor forward with some intense differentiators. Sitting at the bar we were able to chat with other patrons and the bartender who was easily asking questions and suggesting drinks for people. I can't wait to go back and try the food.

This was a really nice speakeasy spot. I enjoyed it a lot. I love the entrance. The entrance is amazing not so many food options but it's a speakeasy so the drinks were what we came for. They were not bad. The service was excellent our waitress. Let us know how things tasted to her liking and she recommended some really good things for us to try. Would definitely go here again with the group of friends or family.

Yay!

I'm so delayed in sharing this review, but I absolutely loved Roka Hula and I have been there at least two more times since my first visit. The small and intimate spot is designed as a speakeasy with a super fun secret entrance. My absolute favorite here is the banana old-fashioned. That said, it is a tiki bar and I do find it worth noting that if you have an allergy to cinnamon, this is not the place for you. The last time I was there, we sat next to a couple that ordered a drink with cinnamon on it and the table side presentation of that drink and with myself and my dining partner being essentially coated in a layer of cinnamon. It immediately made me think of my friend's husband that would've been in a lot of trouble in that situation. And honestly, it made me feel a certain way about the safety of people with an allergy to cinnamon. Hopefully they just know not to go into Tiki bars? I mentioned it to the manager and I didn't feel he took it seriously which is actually the only reason I'm taking it down to a four star because of that. All of the food is small plate style and is absolutely delicious! You can't go wrong with anything on the menu and I absolutely love this place.

Piggybacking to my Voodoo Bayou review, Roka Hula is the speakeasy part. We went here for drinks after eating at Voodoo. The entry experience is cool, sitting on the thrown/chairs and you slowly spin into the speakeasy. It is a little odd as you enter as people are sitting at tables eating but ‍ enjoy the moment (you do have the option to walk around, but where's the fun in that?) The service and drinks are amazing. The drinks are super fun and themed. Again slightly pricey, so not a regular thing for me; but definitely a cool place and great service if you're looking to try something different. We have heard the food is good, less options than in Voodoo just fyi.

Service 5/5 Ambiance 5/5 Food 3/5 Roka Hula is more of an experience. I've been twice so far and it was a fun time however the food can be hit or miss. Pork Belly Rice bowl was solid, it was a bit on the sweeter side. The bao buns were very good and filling. The tuna tartare is their prize item. The sushi rolls were regular and did not stand out. They changed their cocktail menu but I preferred the previous menu. The cocktails are definitely for sweeter palates even when you don't expect them to be. The venue is filled with instagram worthy photo opportunities. Definitely worth a try.

Dim lights and couches making it feel casual but yet upscale at the same time. The host and the wait staff was super attentive and great to have, no issues or problems with them. They were very kind and accommodating and super helpful in terms of trying to figure out all allergies and what my child could or cannot eat, but also make adjustments so that she has options. Now for the food! We had gotten the beef skewer and chicken skewers as appetizers and let me tell you they were probably the best meat skewers that I've had in a Izakaya style Japanese restaurant. The steak was so tender and had great flavor, same with the chicken! The sauce was good, maybe a bit too heavy on the sauce but good pairing! 5/5 The tuna flight was . So good and the cuts of tuna was so tender and was amazing, good garnishes on top! 5/5 The rolls, we got a couple Yellow Fever: it was good, I'm not sure if I was a fan of the asparagus but it was good to have every now and then every other bite or so but not every time. It did have a slight kick to it but I liked it. Distinguished Gentleman: was great. The meat was tender and it had good flavor and my kids enjoyed it as a more kid friendly sushi, but I also enjoyed one bite that I was able to sneak before the kids devoured it. Shrimp Tempura roll (specially made for allergies): Standard goodness! I also almost forgot, I had gotten King Salmon nigiri and also eel nigiri, salmon was good! Normal salmon vibes 4/5 but the eel...probably the most disappointing menu item tbh. Tasted like the frozen Asian grocery store eel, just underwhelming and not a little tough. 2/5 wouldn't order again. but Overall, it was everything was great, we had good service and good food! It's a bit expensive but I Would come back!

Love some dim lighting. I got the Beef Xi'an Noodles. The waiter told me it was like a 7 on an American spice scale & they were comfortably spicy. I really LOVED this dish and devoured every bite. The noodles had a perfect chew to them, and there was a solid amount of protein. Maybe a little overpriced for what it is but, it's theme park food - We know what we're getting into when we walk through the gates. We will absolutely be coming back here on future park visits.

In addition to that, my husband, a Florida native, had never been before. I was excited to show him what I grew up eating and see how he felt about it too. We popped in mid afternoon prior to heading to the grocery store. Because let's be real, you can't go to the grocery store hungry so this was the right fix! The establishment was clean, and we are immediately welcomed by the staff, despite the long line ahead of us. It gave us time to look at the menu as it had changed a little bit since I remember. I ordered the rigatoni Rosa and my husband ordered the chipotle chicken cavatappi. We sat down at a table nearby with our number and very shortly later, we were greeted by the nicest staff member. The portions were big and the meal was cooked fresh. The Parmesan chicken was absolutely to die for. I tried my husband's and his was really good as well. They do have a rewards program which we didn't sign up for, but will in the future. Even later that night, my husband mentioned how much he liked it. Thanks so much for a great experience.
