He came out quickly after we submitted the initial request and completed the installation within a day. We had a few issues with communication that led to multiple misunderstandings that has left us with extra work upon completion of the project, which was frustrating for both Meisam and us. We wouldn't hesistate at all to use Tooska Wood for future projects, but would just make sure to better communicate the exact steps/dates of a project.

They came out to take measurements, but some of their comments were off-putting. At one point, one of them made a comment about how people in the northwest have to do projects in pieces, as if we couldn't afford to pay for the project all at once. Both my husband and I found the comment surprising and inappropriate. The following month, they sent us some initial drafts of the bookcases. We sent back questions and requested revisions, but then communication stalled. We followed up on August 5 and heard back the same day that they were buried in projects and were working on getting back to our design. Fair enough. We followed up again on August 21 and received a response on August 24 explaining that they had been out of town working on a project for two weeks. We understood and gave them more time. On September 19, we emailed again to check on the status. As of today, October 24, we still haven't received a response. I completely understand that businesses get busy and that custom projects take time. What I don't understand is leaving potential customers hanging for weeks with no communication, especially after they've already invested time in discussing the project and preparing initial designs. If they weren't interested in taking on our project, I would have appreciated a simple, professional response saying so rather than being ghosted. Unfortunately, based on our experience, I can't recommend them for their customer communication or service.

Such a smooth process from start to finish!…read more I reached out to JR a few weeks ago about getting a double door installed in an open den area in my home. He was able to come out a few days later, take measurements and get me a quote. He was also able to source the door and trim which saved me a lot of guesswork. As soon as the doors came in, he reached out to schedule and he had the doors hung within a couple of hours. His attention to detail is what really stood out to me. He was able to source the exact doors, trim and handles I have so it looks like this came installed from the builder. Everything is level and looks great. He was even able to refer me to someone to get the doors painted and that person did an awesome job as well. After all the mess I dealt with buying a new build home, it's very refreshing working with someone who takes pride in their work. Thanks JR!
