We selected Cabinet Refacings for our project, and boy are we glad that we did. It was such a pleasure working with Cesar and his company. We had to perform this project remote, and Cesar mentioned that he does not typically work with clients that are remote. That said, he was open to the job and did a fantastic job for us. As you can see in the before / after pictures, our refreshed cabinets came out looking fantastic! It seems like they will really last as well. On top of this, Cesar was the only company / person who mentioned that the sides of our cabinets were not a real / high quality wood material and that there was a risk of a paint / refinish coming off. His quote included replacement of the sides with real wood panels which would last a long time. If you need to refinish your cabinets, I highly recommend Cesar. He has a shop that he will take your cabinets to, in order to minimize contamination, minimize the mess at your home as the cabinets are sanded down, and make sure the job is done right. I went on Yelp to find a way to improve my outdated (2000) kitchen. It had maple cabinets (3 shelves) and picture frame type doors. As maple always does, it had yellowed over time, and I was looking at refinishing (very messy, stinky and $$) or replacing the doors and drawer fronts (very $$$$). I learned about cabinet restoration online (using new doors and veneer on the existing cabinet boxes) which is cheaper and can be used to change the entire look of the kitchen. I contacted 4 contractors from Yelp, all who contacted me back and came out to measure and give me prices. Of the 4 only one was the actual installer (Cesar of Cabinet Restorations) and in going over the details of the job he addressed things like the kickboards, removing floor moldings for a cleaner look, using taller doors versus separate doors for the desired additional top cabinets, all that demonstrated he knows his trade. I was impressed with Cesar and price wise he was cheaper using the same materials than the other three bids. The range went from $2,000 more to 3 times what I paid. Definitely get several bids. What also made me decide to go with Cesar is that he owns his own business, has been in business in the Vegas area since 2010 and guarantees his work longer than all his competitors. He had plenty of pictures of his work and while talking with him he could answer all my questions, unlike the other sales representatives who said they would have to find out from their installers. Now for the process. Cesar came to the house and spent a few hours measuring. He was very meticulous and asked me questions to help clarify exactly what we wanted. He told me it would take about 2 weeks to get the materials and about a week for the installation. In 2 weeks, he was at my home beginning work. My wife and I were expecting a mess, but it was a lot less mess than we thought it would be. Cesar used plastic and coverings to keep the dust minimal and he always cleaned up before leaving for the day. The work went on time with some minor delays due to our hardware not arriving on time and one cabinet drawer needing to be redone. The delays were minimal, and we were kept informed by Cesar all the way through the project. What I appreciated about Cesar is his terrific work ethic, his pride and professionalism, and that he's very easy to work with. He arrives at work, begins working and is nonstop until he heads home for the day. Next day is the same. The total experience was excellent. The result is amazing, with the cabinets being exactly what we wanted. Our kitchen went from dated to modern, with more storage and a clean new vibe. Our kitchen recently had a water leak under the kitchen sink. We weren't aware of the leak until it had damaged the kitchen cabinets and floor. So the kitchen got torn apart by the Water Restriction Service people. The dry wall, kitchen cabinets and floor were taken out so they could dry up the water. They did a wonderful job to dry up the kitchen but could not schedule us in until several weeks later to put back the cabinets and floor. We needed these things done right away. Then we found Cesar, he came to our house and gave us an estimate to rebuild our kitchen cabinets. Since it was an emergency, he agreed to work on the weekend to fix our cabinets. So two days later on a Saturday he and his son showed up early in the morning and started rebuilding our kitchen cabinets.
