Another customer in line even asked us if we've been before and told us about the fun latte flavors. My mom and I ordered a cold brew each, and it was my mom's favorite cold brew she's ever had! It was good, but it was interesting because near the end of our cups, we tried each others' drinks just for the sake of things, and they tasted different - mine tasted less coffee, whereas my mom's drink had a was stronger coffee flavor. Maybe they were from different batches? Nevertheless, cold brews were great and I would order again. Like other coffee roasters in the area, if you buy a bag of beans, you get a complimentary cold brew, coffee, latte (?)! I was tempted to purchase a bag but they are so popular and only had 1 type of bean left that I don't prefer - heh, I warned that I'm a coffee snob. Would definitely go again/ask family to purchase beans for us out of towners.

It operates out of Toast on weekdays and Perro Blanco on weekends. I ended up circling the block for a while trying to find it because I had no idea where it was located. Apparently they mention this on Instagram, but since I don't have Instagram, I only figured it out after the fact. I can't help but wonder how many potential customers end up at Mea Culpa Coffee, which is right behind Toast and much easier to identify as a coffee shop. Once I went inside Toast and asked, the cashier explained that I was already in the right place. Mystery solved. I ordered the iced blueberry lemon zest matcha latte with coconut milk, and it was genuinely delicious. The blueberry and lemon complemented the matcha really well, making for a refreshing drink that wasn't overly sweet. My only hesitation is the price. At $9, it felt a bit steep for a drink that appeared to be about 16 ounces and was filled almost entirely with ice. While I enjoyed it and would order it again, I'd have a hard time justifying the price on a regular basis. Overall, the quality of the drink was excellent, but I think Kobros could make the experience even better by making their location more obvious outside of Instagram and offering a little more value for the price.

I was greeted by the barista Will. Looked around to get a feel for the shop. It had a music theme with a cool sign that's says "On air." A vinyl record player and even vintage concert shirts for sale. They have a few tables and a fantastic group area up front with retro black leather couch. A very uncomplicated black coffee that came out quick was all I ordered. They offer bakery items on Wednesday thru weekend from Chelsea Bakehouse. My coffee was amazing! I decided to take a trip to the retail location of Rich Port Coffee down the street from Selden Market. The retail location is located on the corner of the ground floor of the office building at the corner of West Main Street and Boush Street. It offers all the wonderful coffee drinks, cold bevs, baked goods and some merch like popcorn from Puerto Rico and hand painted coffee percolators. Rich Port Coffee started out as a wholesale roaster in Selden Market (where the roastery remains) and then they opened the retail location last year. - Parking - There is metered parking on the street and various parking garages nearby. Don't quote me on this, but there may be free parking spaces in front of Boush Street. - What I got - I was looking for a bag of their roasted coffee and at the time of my visit, there were 1lb bags of roasted whole bean coffee from El Salvador, Colombia, adn Puerto Rico. Since the owners are from PR (hence the name, Puerto Rico = Rich Port), I decided to get a bag of the PR beans, because that is not a country you see very often. They are in different colored bags and have cute little flag dots to identify the coffee. Since it was whole bean, and not everyone has a coffee grinder, Mia, the owner, offered to grind it for me. This was super nice and convenient, as they have a way better grinder than I do! The bag cost be about $20, but at the time of this writing, they are running a special, that if you buy a 1lb bag of coffee beans, you get a free 12oz drink. Since it was 88F today, I opted for an iced mocha and it was just the afternoon pick-me-up that I needed! Rich Port Coffee is a little hidden, but conveniently located at the corner by Todd Jurich Bistro and the Nauticus! Stop on by as they have awesome drinks, goodies from small local businesses like Smores Amore and others. Enjoy, Friends, and never stop exploring!

There's a fun, new seasonal menu every month, which is always filled with the best drinks!! The soft tops are so yummy, but we've had more iced mocha lattes than I can count. It's never a bad choice when you choose Beach Bum! And the coffee trailer is out front of a dog daycare, so there's a 99% chance you'll see a dog while visiting! I could really taste the flavor notes, you can tell it's freshly roasted and ground and prepared correctly. They roast the beans here, and overall, I think the inside is super comfy. They have all sorts of different seating, from tables and a couple booths to couches. They also have a small kids area, with a couple games, books, and coloring, which is a huge plus. There's board games too. From downtown, you can take the LRT to the last stop and then walk on the bike/pedestrian path here, it's a pleasant walk. They make all of their syrups in house- and they are absolutely splendid. Only this place can make me enjoy an espresso tonic- what even is that?! But it's delicious, just like everything they do. And, it's never ever too sweet. It's always barely sweet with an emphasis on flavor, not sugar. Ugh just so good. And what's more than that- the staff here are genuinely amazing people. The owner (I think?) always greets us and knows us well at this point, and makes the whole experience just that much better. These people are in the job that's right for them- which means their coffee is crafted with love. And that's the best kind of business to visit.
