But within minutes of leaving the shop I realized that the headphone jack was no longer working. And neither was the power button. Both were working just fine before I brought it in for repair at "Dyna-Smart." I brought the phone back there the next day and they denied any responsibility for the new damage and refused to do anything about it. I took the phone to iRepair on College St later for an assessment and they told me that whoever had worked on the phone before had done big damage inside, including stripped screws, which meant they couldn't even repair it. The First - A nice "on-the-go" cord. I wanted something that wouldn't be accidentally taken from a party. This one is great because it is a bright blue with white tips, and it easily rolls up. It also lights up blue when plugged in to the wall properly, and then lights up red when it has the phone charging. YAY. $20. The Second - A THREE METRE iPhone cord. Looks just like an iPhone cord. Works just like an iPhone cord. But it's three metres long, and it costs a whopping (tiny) $20. Staff is super-easygoing and they cram everything they can into this tiny space. YAY.

I recently took it upom myself to take apart the android device sellteck had repaired in order replace the screen again. I found that when they reassembled the phone they left out, lost or stole multiple screws that should have been replaced, failed to preserve or replace the protective sticker required for using NFC and left out, lost or stole multiple small metal pieces that cover and hold in place the important wire connections in the device.

This is actually the second bad experience I had at a Fido store in the same day, after the one that sold me my phone refused to exchange it after customer service and tech support had authorized the exchange and told me I could immediately go pick up the new one. At this point I'm not sure if the problem is with Fido stores and their employees or company policy at Rogers/Fido but definitely stay away from the Centerpoint and Hillcrest Mall Fido locations if not the whole company.
