The website showed two different prices for the same phone, and the live chat on the website was not working, so there was no way to get clarification online. I called the store instead. During the call, I was given conflicting information about availability. First I was told they did not have the phone, then I was told they did. I also specifically asked about the condition of the phone and was told that it looked brand new. After making the trip to the store, I was shown a phone with visible scratches, wear marks, and clear signs of previous use. It also did not come with the original box. This was not what I would consider an open-box device, and it certainly did not match the "looks brand new" description I was given over the phone. The most frustrating part was the lack of accurate information at every step: conflicting prices on the website, a non-working chat system, confusion about stock availability, and a misleading description of the phone's condition. I wasted my time traveling to the store because I trusted the information provided by the company. Unfortunately, that trust was misplaced. The apple store was going to take my watch for 13 days to replace the battery. I saved money and the batteries work fine. The only issue was that the iphone doesn't recognize the battery as an Apple product but my phone is 4 years old so I really don't care what Apple has to say.
