The store clerk was kind and very pleasant to the customers. Everything looked fresh and the miscellaneous items were stacked nicely as well. There was a lady outside in the parking lot asking patrons for money who eventual came inside and asked the store clerk if she could use the restroom; the store clerk was polite and said yes. I overheard this exchange but I felt it was worth mentioning and three stars at the very least. When I asked if they used butter or margarine on their fantastic looking crab trays and the clerk said margarine. I appreciated her honesty but everyone knows how extremely unhealthy margarine is; margarine is not five star quality. The overall experience and interaction was five stars but the margarine is a negative one for sure and needs to be reconsidered.

Word of mouth, if it's good, restaurants can thrive from it. And that's what happened in this case…read morewhen an acquaintance mentioned the Blue Water Bay and how good the shrimp dinners are. Our brunch experience definitely confirmed that, with a tasty twist on Cajun cooking. My husband tried the Earlton Hash. A tasty combination of shrimp, andouille sausage, a creamy hollandaise sauce and done wonderful tiny potatoes all topped with a fried egg. This dish made for a memorable brunch. He topped it off with a bottle of beer to connect the two eating periods. I opted for the French Toast. It was tender and moist. It came with very crispy bacon. The dining room is nicely furnished with stained glass sea life. They also showcase artwork for sale. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable. However, the kitchen is a bit slow in service. Side note-the restrooms, while functional, could use work. And for those looking for liquid refreshments there is an attached bar, with seating behind a full wall .

Low Note: Pricing seemed very high (but I'm a Winn-Dixie/on sale seafood buyer) and (as stated on board and posts) you need to order ahead for live Maine Lobsters (next day). That said: Loved the Smoked Salmon and had two amazing dinners, but the "high price" will minimize our repeat business. The 4 stars would have been a 5 for the selections and flavor, but it took a hit due to the pricing.
