This is a beautiful shop in Southington with fresh produce, apples, and a lot of local products. Don't miss their fresh cider. They have hot cider, too. It's a popular place with plenty of free parking. Service was fast and friendly.

Rogers is a local farmstead that has been family owned for over 200 years! So you know it's good!! I went this summer for peach season and they had everything and more! From peach pies, to peach butter to even having a dedicated day for peach sundaes. You can find something for everyone to enjoy. For every season, they offer the freshest fruits and vegetables in town. They have pick your own apples for the upcoming fall season. They even have a new cider truck and store and fruit baskets for gifts for family and friends. Rogers Orchards is a true staple to the Southington area. The manager Mark was so friendly and showed us around the store. I loved browsing around at all the goodies. Can't wait to go back for more stuff.

The best apple cider in Ct!! Had to stop today and grab some fall essentials like apple cider donuts, apple cider vinegar, apples and pears. Fast service, casual atmosphere. Blessed to be so close to home.

A great fall time adventure with home baked goods! Pies, donuts, fresh produce, locally made snacks and treats, FRESH Apple cider! We bought a 8 quart basket of 2nd grade Macintosh apples for $15! Had enough to make 2 pies!! You CANT pass up the Apple cider donuts! They are so soft, covered in sugar and so tasty. For $1, you can try a cup of their delicious Apple cider! But I'll warn you, you will turn around to buy a bigger jug! Pick up some hard cider too if you dont want to travel to the cider house!

A nice place my family took me to during my visit to Connecticut. This was a big place with plenty of parking and room to walk around. The people were really nice and helpful. They even were patient to my aunt that was asking them to go get some stuff for her in the back. They offer baked goods, apples, honey, apple cider and so much more. They actually offer a cup of apple cider at the beginning for a $1 to try or if you're thirsty. It was very sweet but tasted good. I did buy some of their donuts which were pretty good but I heated them up at home and they tasted better. Some of what I got seemed like a day or 2 old but honestly was still good. I also enjoyed my honeycomb I bought here though was pretty expensive. It was a nice experience and would recommend anyone to stop by.

Stopped in the home farm store, and purchased a blueberry pie and McIntosh apples and a six pack of delicious apple cider donuts. They are so soft and melt in your mouth. I was happy with my purchases. Staff was friendly and helpful.

We went to the farm store on a rainy morning, we were the only ones inside. Like a little slice of apple pie heaven. I'm very familiar with the classic New England/Massachusetts farms and orchards, and this one is authentic, and is one I would recommend. The apple selection is abundant and crisp, even in the off season. They're up front with customers about where their produce is sourced: apples from the farm, citrus from Florida. They have a variety of other farm fresh goods: excellent chocolate milk, their own non alcoholic and hard apple ciders, Vermont creamery cheddy topper cheese, donuts, and more. Service was very helpful, and advised us on what's good to get. The barn area was notably very clean too. The hard cider area was particularly cute, and even had free stickers!

5 star apple cider donuts! The perfect blend of sugar cinnamon on the outside of a slightly crispy donut with a super soft inside with pieces of apple. They have a ton of apples in cute baskets that look fantastic, a small assortment of cheeses from arethusa, and some frozen items like pot pie and ice cream and pasta from other CT vendors. The pies were running low when we visited otherwise I definite would have gotten a small apple and a small pumpkin, a return visit before thanksgiving may be in order. There is also a little side area with cidery wine.

As apple picking time draws to a close, it was our last chance to get some favorite late in the season spectacular types of apples. We chose a great day since the impressive stand was fully stocked and not too crowded. Colorful awe inspiring gourds in all sizes, shapes and fall colors greeted us at the door. Check out the crazy shapes in the enclosed photo. The apples were plentiful and we chose a total of four quarts of the Golden Delicious, Granny Smith, Fuji and Macoun. The bakery had our favorite magnificent 12 grain Cranberry walnut bread and of course we needed the phenomenal Full Bloom Apiaries honey produced right in Connecticut to go with it. The lines moved quickly and the cashiers were friendly and helpful. We love supporting this incredible farm. You can sense the multiple generations of this astonishing family's history, pride and hard work in establishing all of the apple trees you see on the way to the top of the orchards. Thank you for all of your efforts in providing this awesome quality and quantity of healthy food!

Our family and extended family go apple picking every year and we always pick a different orchard to visit. This was our pick this year and we were not disappointed! Easy apple picking, very straightforward and easy to access for all ages. After picking we always stop in at the farm store to see what delights they have in stock. We left with their apple cider, very fresh and clean tasting! We bought some fresh ears of corn ( the best corn we had all season!) Some yummy Carmel apple dip to try at a later time. We also had to bring home some apple cider donuts to share with friends. The store became quite busy and the staff were all very friendly and efficient. Great overall experience. We will definitely go back here again.

Super adorable farm stand full of apples, baked goods, and cider! The apple cider was delicious and we took some to bring home. Lines were a little long, but it's the fall so that's to be expected. Also has plenty of pumpkins you can bring home too.

It is so nice to see a family farm that is still up and running in this day and age. They used to do pick your own strawberries but not anymore, it really was one of the most amazing experiences to go there and pick fresh berries. This farm is a wonderful place to get plants and flowers in the spring fresh fruits and vegetables in the summer pumpkins in the winter and Christmas trees in the holiday season. It is a true gem run by some of the most amazing and hard-working people you would ever meet in your life. I have spoken with the owners many times and they will go out of their way to assist you and to get specialty items for you from wholesale market that you can't get anywhere else if you so request. We buy all of our flowers for a home here, all of our vegetable throughout the year, beautiful pies for special occasions and they even sometimes sell home grown turkeys in the fall. Everything is homegrown and you absolutely cannot go wrong. For a farm to table fresh experience this is the place in central Connecticut to shop

""Buying food at the farmer's market Stand in a line, people…read moreeverywhere" (Neil Young) We had a very enjoyable visit to the Southington Farmer's Market yesterday. We found it right on the Village Green where the annual Apple Festival starts. Parking was a non-factor, there were spots all over the immediate area and we snagged a prime spot on the corner of Main and Center Streets. Today was the first day they were open for the season, and the market was full of vendors, and everything seemed to be running like a well-oiled machine. We arrived shortly after the 3:00 opening and everything was already fully stocked and set up. The market was perfectly sized. Not too small, not overpoweringly huge, just about perfect. A leisurely stroll through the booths and stands will take around 30-40 minutes, I loved how the booths were adequately spaced apart so there were no logjams or crowds. The only real crowd we encountered was at Wave Hill Breads with a ten-person deep line of drooling customers. We finished our visit with some Wave Hill purchases. Some of the main categories of vendors included fruits, vegetables, pastries, breads, sauces, salsas, jerkies, guacamole, pizzas for one, soaps, flowers, crafts, straw baskets, honeys and syrups. All of those were enjoyed among a backdrop of live music. We picked up a container of great guacamole from Pop's Famous Guacamole, a wonderful jar of salsa from Angela's Kitchen, two adorable "Eight Ball" squashes from one of the produce vendors, and a bag full of goodness from Wave Hill Breads. Our Wave Hill Haul included a delicious eight-inch cheese pizza, a hunk of Three Cheese Monkey bread, and a beautiful Vanilla Citrus Scone. The vendors were all super friendly and chatty, and the whole afternoon had a very nice community/neighbor-like vibe. We loved every aspect of our visit to the Southington Farmer's Market. PRO TIP The Farmer's Market is scheduled for Fridays from 3-6PM at the Southington Town Green, beginning on Friday, June 20th, and ending on September 26th.
