I found Rodriquez Tree Service on Yelp with 5.0 reviews. All of them were 100% true and more. The owner, Jose came to review the work to be done and assured me he would be on the job 100% of the time from start to finish. Guess what? He was. His team were so polite and mindful. They trimmed a huge Maple tree, 2 Magnolias & a Plum tree. Each tree looked camera ready and well done. I highly recommend Rodriquez Tree Service. read more

Sent a 4-person crew and worked efficiently. There were quite a bit of cuttings left behind, wish they could have cleaned up better.

Jose and his crew arrived exactly on time, and finished the job in the estimated three hours he had quoted us. Four trees, in much need of a major pruning were dealt with the experience and expertise that is hard to find these days. Perfect in every regard, from start to clean up. Don't look anywhere else for this type of work. read more

Rodriguez Tree Service lives up to their high ranking. I hired RTS today to trim/shape our beautiful old oak tree in addition to trimming trees in the backyard. Jose, the owner of RTS, arrived on time with his crew and provided an exceptional job on both projects. Our oak looks great with plenty of room to grow. It was a tricky job on the oak, but Jose kept me constantly informed and explained the strategy on shaping the tree. Jose is very easy to work with and provided a competitive bid for the job. They did a great job cleaning up after their work as well. I can't thank Jose and his crew for being so conscientious and professional that provided this customer a satisfying experience. Thank you Rodriguez Tree Service and you personally Jose. read more

Prompt, efficient, and affordable! What more really needs to be said! My Japanese maple tree looks even more beautiful after its trimming!

Wonderful experience. We had multiple trees that needed to be trimmed, shaped, or cut to the stump. Jose and his team showed up on time and he confirmed/clarified the plans once again before starting, making a few suggestions to maintain the looks and health of the trees. He was good about keeping us updated while they worked. The team was polite, efficient and cleaned up well, and didn't trample any plants or irrigation heads in the process. Jose was clear about his pricing when we first met for the estimate - and following the work, there were no hidden nor gotcha fees. All in all we were very pleased with the entire experience and highly recommend Rodriquez Tree Service. read more

Rodriguez Tree Service did an amazing job with our tree trimming and shaping project. I had several fruit trees in severe need of trimming services. I got in touch with Jose and his crew and found them efficient with a good eye for shape. My trees now no longer look like they're haunted or about to invade my house. Instead, they all have nice shape and height. Jose also recommended that I get rid of this random walnut tree I had in the back. Did not know it would be invasive/hard to deal with down the line. Thanks, Jose! Price was competitive. I would definitely call them back for future tree trimming needs. read more

Rodriguez Tree Service did a very nice job on my Belmont property. I had 4 live oaks that needed heavy pruning: 3 to regain my view and 1 too close to my roofline and thus a wildfire hazard. Jose personally supervised a team of 6 as they worked. He offered me to review work in progress and I was able to make changes along the way so that each tree was to my liking. When the work was done and the chipper gone, there wasn't a leaf or twig in my driveway or street, as if they'd never been there. I highly recommend Rodriguez Tree Services! read more

Thanks for your help in trimming my trees. Fair and transparent quote and scope of work. Excellent communication and crew is polite.

We have used Rodriguez Tree Service for over 4 years, and highly recommend the company. Jose is a great communicator -- very friendly and easy to talk to. Our dog runs up to him and she's usually shy but she loves seeing him -- which says a lot! And all the guys are equally friendly and kind. When we first got our dog 4 years ago, we simply wanted to put in a new lawn for her, and that turned into redesigning our front yard. I didn't know how to pick plants and couldn't decide, so I left the decisions to Jose, and he did an amazing job. We have people walking by our house daily and they stop to compliment us on the lovely yard. Jose knew exactly what plants to use in our neighborhood, and the choices he made were both artistic and practical. He really knows his plants, and he's a true professional. I later learned that he's got a deep expertise in horticulture -- way beyond what we knew. That explains why everything is so nice. We recently decided to landscape our back yard, and Jose helped us make some key decisions on which trees to remove based on disease, and which ones to add based on the right sunlight and shade. We hired him to remove about ten trees so we could redo the backyard, and his price was fair -- and the work was done quickly -- within a few days. I was amazed at how professional his crew was. They seemed like a major big league team, and they left my yard in spotless condition -- ready for the pavers to be done. I completely trust Jose, and highly recommend him to anyone who needs either a small consultation -- or a major project. He's the first one I would call. read more

Jose was wonderful to work with. In our first meeting, he was very detailed in what he planned to do for our front yard, which was heavily overgrown with California native plants and weeds. He also provided a cost breakdown of what he would do. He did a really good job cleaning up the yard. We received a lot of compliments from our neighbors too. Definitely recommend him and his team. read more

Jose delivered on his promise! The estimation process was extremely smooth and expedited. He is extremely responsive and punctual. He gave me an appointment right away for estimation. He gave me the parameters that he is working within, in terms of how much pruning is allowed by the county. He is very knowledgeable about the type of tree and growth patterns. He gave me another appointment for the tree pruning. He worked around our schedules. He delivered on what he promised. Nicely shaped, the well-trimmed and thinned-out tree. His staff Armando and Henry were great. Very easy to work with and they communicated very well. They cleaned the area up after the tree cutting. We were very satisfied with our experience. Very satisfied with the tree trimming job. Junior Rodriguez communicated well with me and he and the crew did good work.

After years of neglect and drought our front yard landscaping needed help. A privet had grown from a bush into a tree and was raising some of the brick work by our front porch. A long patch of ivy separated the yard from the street and the yard itself was a combination of dead grass and dirt. It was time for a complete renovation but finding someone who was willing to tackle the task was not easy. Then we discovered Rodriguez Tree and Landscape Service. We contacted Jose and discussed the changes we wanted to make which included removal of the privet and the old yard, repair of the brickwork and the construction of a stone wall across the front to replace the ivy. Jose provided a bid for all of the above as well as installing new plantings and a new water saving irrigation system. All of the above was accomplished over a period of few weeks which included two weeks when we were out of town. We never felt rushed into making decisions and were able to make a few changes to the original bid as the project moved forward. Bottom line: Jose Rodriguez and his crew were a delight to work with, showed up in a timely manner and completed the job to our satisfaction, all at a fair price. I can recommend Rodriguez Tree & Landscape Service without hesitation. read more
