Just providing a quick, important update to my initial review. Carlos has been EXCEPTIONALLY HELPFUL in addressing the issue we had initial with 3 plants. It turns out there was NO issue with the plants/planing - rather a situation where deer were eating only those plants (in spite of everything intended to be deer-resistant, per the Yardzen design). Carlos (& team) replaced the plants, determined the cause, and a provided a deer repellent recommendation. Overall we are super satisfied with the experience with doing business with Prestige Landscape. The backyard renovation was a good investment for us, but Carlos and his team made this a stress free experience for us. First of all, we are super satisfied with the quality of the work, Carlos and the site manager Jesus are super professional and know paid extra attention to the quality of the work and all the line items are well done, and everything they touches is with the highest standard. eg the pavers are even and well aligned, the retaining wall are with steady foundation and deeply installed rebars. They also pays a lot of attention to the details and well touches all the edges and corners. Many of the detailed items are taken care of without me even mention that. Like the handling of the edges to the pavers, the irrigation systems, the side of the staircases and the the stucco and paintings of the walls etc. Beyond the work, Carlos is pretty responsive and always patiently listen all the requests and provide suggestions and providing the consultant. I recently purchased a new construction home with an unfinished backyard. After interviewing ~8 landscape outfits I decided to go with Prestige and have been very happy with their work. We had some issues with the window reflection of the sun, and their team added an arbor on window to block the sun reflection. Worked out great. I had Prestige landscape come to my home to quote some work I needed done. The person I spoke to on the phone was very nice but didn't give me a day or time on when he could provide me with a quote. After a few days I called to find out if he came by to look at the job or if he was even interested in providing a quote he said he would come out that day or the following day...so I happened to be home the day he came 2 days after the second phone call. Very nice young man who just looked at the job asked me what I wanted didn't take any measurements to see how much material was going to be needed didn't really do anything other then give me his ideas...he did have some good ideas but that's where it ends. It took 3 days to get the written quote from him and it was very professionally done explains what we talked about and his pricing problem being I had already received a few quotes before his and when i saw his quoted number for less work then what the previous companies offered I started to laugh out loud because it was absolutely ridiculous. It was more than double the other quotes and he was offering less work. All and all it was a bad experience from the time it took to quote the job and even more so on his rate...if he didn't want the job it would have been less of an insult to just say he wasn't interested. My advice is call other companies before doing any work with this companies. read more
