This was our first time at Rodgers and we went because we were told they purchased Speedy's recipe for their pizza. Speedy's was a long time pizza joint in Sylva that had to close due to road expansions. I will return, because I am not the type of person who writes a place off on a first visit. Why the three; the dough and sauce were Speedy's, however, the vegetables were chopped a little thick compared to Speedy's. The wings could have been done a little more. I would recommend they be cooked an extra minute or two to crisp the skin. I would not order the waffle fries again, I feel like they get cold too quick. The thing I liked the least was the plastic ware. I like to cut my food and it's difficult to do with plastic forks and knives. The actual set up of the restaurant is very nice with indoor and outdoor seating, a large bar top and a TV in every direction. It's one of the only places in the area to get a decent pizza so I would recommend it to someone looking for a pizza joint. read more

Had a great time. The restaurant had plenty of TV's to watch the games. It was WCU's homecoming and the place was packed. We sat outside with my fraternity brothers and wives. The servers did well to cater to so many people. They always have great tasting hamburgers. They have several varieties of beer. I went with a Voodoo Ranger. read more

I have tried to give this place the benefit of the doubt, but this was the third and final time I will eat here. To start off with our server did not come greet us for 15 minutes. It was not busy. There was three other tables in the restaurant. When we finally did order we were told that both of our meals cannot be made. I ordered a chicken quesadilla and they were out of tortillas. My boyfriend ordered the ribeye sandwich and they were out of ribeyes. At this point, we are already frustrated and order different things that we never got. We ordered drinks. I ordered the frozen margarita (Roger Rita) and they told me they could not make it frozen. They did not turn the machine on earlier that day. This place is ran by a bunch of college kids who do not care and do not have any sense of business. read more

While in Cullowhee, my group of friends went here a couple of times due to the wide variety of food and prices. Note: they no longer do half price appetizers after 8pm. Lots of TVs which make this place the spot to watch all sporting events (especially TN baseball!). Service was always friendly. The food does take a little bit to come out, and accuracy is not their strongest attribute. I ordered the 4 for $15 appetizer dish one night and the 3 piece chicken tender dish on the other night. Food was okay for the price. Overall, for bar food, not terrible, but could definitely improve. read more

Came into the restaurant and ordered take out on 5/15/25. Three burgers, a chicken sandwich and I thought I ordered a kids chicken tenders but it was not in the bags. Great burgers 101 is the lettuce, in the very least, goes under the burger to preserve the bottom bun from being saturated by burger juices especially on a take out order. This wasnt the case. All of our bottom buns were ruined. Even the chicken sandwich had pickles under the chicken and that bun was soaked with pickle juice. My sons actual burger had a very long hair embedded in the meat which would have been eaten had it not been for the soaked bun leading to using a knife and fork. Come on Rodgers Bros. I was so hopeful for you guys when you first opened but for a family with restaurant experience its not showing. It really started to crash when you added Speedys Pizza (was not a fan of their pizza to start with--sorry Sylva locals). All said and done my tab for 4 meals without the kid meal and no drinks was $70 including a small tip for the staff. Ouch. This would be easier to justify if some QC was happening. Got here @8:00 pm, didn't seem too busy. We didn't get drinks or menu till 8:35.Once we got our food (Wings), they had our order mixed up between our plates . When we told the waiter about this issue, she was rude about it. The food was good (wings ) but our fries were cold. read more

My server was VERY rude and the only time he came around was to take our orders and bring us the check. The food was mediocre at best. Only good thing I can add is how fast the food came. I have ate here a handful of times and it has consistently been pretty awful. With it being in such close proximity to WCU and the apartments, it's a restaurant I have really tried coming around to, but it always misses the mark - by a lot. I just quickly want to say: drive thru- brilliant idea, execution is subpar or bad. The service is quite bad sometimes, there was a time no one waited on us and eventually the bartender noticed and had to step in and take care of us (my partner and I). The food doesn't taste very good, maybe intentionally but its quality is that of something you'd find at a sports concession stand for a high school. The best burger is the most expensive and is loaded down with sauce, I'd hardly count it. The fried pickles are extremely salty, to the point that they are inedible. In the brief period they were serving liquor, I got ONE mixed drink, and got so incredibly sick and drunk from it that I immediately was terribly sick that lasted well into the next day. I have no clue how much alcohol that server/bartender put in my drink that night, but I have NEVER gotten that response to a single drink, not before and not since. It's a sports bar in the south, right next to a college in a very small town with not much else going on, so id say the ambiance gives off a suffocating amount of white testosterone ages college-elder. Friends/other demographics there by circumstance only possibly. It would take a lot for me to willingly choose Rodger Bros over any other restaurant in a 20 mile radius, and to be clear the biggest part of this opinion is the alcohol event. I should have reported it at the time, but clearly liquor was an issue for them since they now no longer have any! So, at least there's comfort in knowing that this can't happen again. read more

Very disappointed in their menu selections. The Mutt, their supposedly top of the menu hot dog, shows up and it's just a hotdog, a bun, and chili. Very unimpressive. My mom ordered a mutt dog as well. Unimpressive as well. I've ordered 2 pizzas recently. Both were ordered as a deluxe. First one a few weeks ago they flat out made my order wrong and made me a veggie pizza. Ordered a large deluxe today and it was primarily a veggie with very, very few meat items. That was $50 for a most unsatisfactory lunch. Won't be going back anytime soon. read more

Please don't waste your time or money! AND PLEASE DON'T USE THEIR ONLINE ORDER or you will not get your food. It goes through door dash just to order and pick up. Wasted my time, lost my money and didn't get food. My order was cancelled 20 minutes later when I was there to pick it up. Person answering phone at Roger's Brothers, stated it's not their issue and blames DoorDash. Call door dash and talk to a woman who stated they don't take the money until your order is delivered. I told her it had been taken out of my account and I didn't pick up any food because it was cancelled already and I wanted the money put back into my account as quickly as they took it. She tells me that it will take 3-5 days. All this while I hear live loud chickens in the background. They are both sorry businesses. read more

I have eaten at this restaurant before and not had any issues but this was my first time ordering online and picking it up. The food was awful. I got 5 wings mild and waffle fries, nothing too crazy. The wings had barely any sauce on it, they were hard and barely had any meat on them. The fries were rock hard, I could barely eat them. I promise you, I am not a picky eater. I could have lived with little sauce but for the food to not be edible?! That's awful. My partner got the chicken tenders and curly fries and this was similar. It seems that if you wanna go here, you'll have to actually be inside to get half decent food. Even then, the wait times for the food are outlandish. DON'T ORDER ONLINE! We ate here tonight for the first time. Natalie was our server and she was great! Our party had breadsticks, burgers, chicken tenders, chicken sandwich and grilled cheese, with either curly fries or waffle fries. All of the food was excellent. It's a great place to eat if you get a 2 hour lunch break and are part camel. It took over an hour and half to get food and our glasses set empty on the table and good luck finding your waitress.
