This is the second time we have eaten at Guy Fieri's Kitchen inside the Harrah's Cherokee. Those AMAZING Bloody Mary's are definitely what pulled us in and then the food just keeps on giving. This time I tried the Lobster Lollipops and OMG are you kidding me?!?! I've had something similar in the past (Lobster Corndogs they called them) but these were miles above anything else. Hubby had the Old Skool Steak Sandwich. As always everything was amazing right down to the sauces. Highly recommend you go visit Flavortown!

Restaurant has a funky vibe, and the food has cool presentations. The trash can nachos are brought in a tall metal container and the server then releases them onto a plate. Lots of pulled pork included. The lobster mac & cheese is really but super rich. we got the side dish $12.95 as an appt as that was plenty for the three of us to share. The chocolate cake coated with candy is amazing. It's huge and 4 people could easily share.

Probably one of the best hot chicken I've had. We stopped for brunch before head back home. The menu is limiting for breakfast or brunch so we ordered the French toast and the hot chicken and waffles. Took a bit with very few patrons at 9am. But oh the food was absolutely delicious. The chicken was so moist. They looked burnt but was sooo good. The hot honey didn't have enough kick but nonetheless delicious. The waffles were like waffle potatoes and I didn't realize they were bite sizes waffles. Excellent spin on chicken and waffles. The French toast was extra thick but the creme anglaise sauce was the bomb. Berry compote was just the right amount of sweet and tart. Atmosphere was very nice, forgot you're in a casino hotel. All in all you must stop here for a delicious breakfast!

Thought we'd check out the casino in Cherokee, NC. Saw they had a Guy Fieri Kitchen so thought we'd try it. We got there around 5p. Was not busy yet at all so we were seated right away and it was fairly quiet in there. Loved all the neat stuff on the walls. Waitress was super friendly and knowledgeable about menu items. We both got the Bacon Mac and Cheese Burger and Fries. Next burger I ever ate. So good! Definitely would come back!!

Since our last visit we had a better all around experience, so I'm adding a star and a new review. We were back on a Saturday night for dinner. First up we had made 9 PM reservations. We realized around 6:30 that we were all starving and tired and couldn't imaging waiting until 9 for dinner. (I was working on 3 short hours of sleep from all the casino fun Friday night/Saturday morning!). Our party had also shrunk from 6 to 4 people, so we asked the hostess to move us up if they could. We ended up being sat at 8. Our server was great. The place wasn't busy, so food came out at a good pace. I forgot about the delicious "OG"steak sandwich I had last time, so I split a Cobb salad with JD. Plus shared with the table the pretzel bites, Brussels and lobster Mac and cheese. Everything I tried was good. The pretzel pig pie is pretzel bites, beer cheese, Parmesan + provolone cheeses, bacon + scallions. I would have liked a lighter pretzel with a crispy outside and fluffy inside. My favorite bite of the night ended up being the lobster Mac and cheese. I wish I would have saved room for more of that!! Since we were leaving the next day and didn't have a cooler with us we left behind a LOT of great leftovers. Such a bummer. But don't worry, JDs slice of cake that's the size of my face made it back home with us!!! :-)

We decided to have dinner here and checked in. The wait was about 30 minutes which was just right so we could have a drink. We ordered and the food came quickly. One person ordered the Mac n Cheese Burger, he said it was really good. Another ordered the Double Fried Chicken with Brussel Sprouts which was fried chicken strips with gravy. He enjoyed it but when I tasted the gravy I thought Cracker Barrel's gravy was better. I ordered the NY Steak sandwich. I told my husband his steaks are much better. The restaurant is small but very nice.

We were seated right away. This place is a walk from the main part of the casino but worth it! The decor is fun but the seating felt like a cafeteria. Our waitress was a local NC lady and was very attentive and patient. The burgers WOW you! The Cobb salad is delicious! Love love love the shrimp wrapped in bacon. The lobster lollipops were so so good! The ribs were flavorful! We also enjoyed the smoked old fashion. We will be back!

We had a great experience at the bar at Guy Fieri's Cherokee, mainly because of the excellent service of Putu, our bartender. We were on the wait list to dine in the restaurant, but we decided to eat at the bar. We had the ribs which were delicious. The lobster mac and cheese was mediocre and the Cole slaw was overloaded with mayo. The Brussels sprouts were delicious. They have a nice bourbon selection, though I chose the Prosecco. This new part of Harrah's is really nice and peaceful and the bar is lovely. I would definitely recommend trying it out, mainly for the excellent service!

Grabbed a quick brunch on our way out of leaving Harrah's Cherokee resort. The food came out so quick and was amazing. We ordered the breakfast tacos and the nashville chicken. The waffle flavored fries were phenomenal! Would definitely eat here if you are staying at the hotel.

We went here for breakfast during our stay at the Cherokee resort. Service was on point and my Huevos Rancheros was well seasoned and delicious. The portion size was very generous. It was quiet and not busy when we were there. We would definitely go here again the next time I'm at the Cherokee Casino Resort.

I've reviewed this once before. Service is ok, but not awesome. I ordered an American kobe burger and wife ordered a kobb salad. My burger was outstanding. I highly recommend this. Wife's salad was good quality, but had no taste whatsoever. We even asked server to bring pepper and salt. After adding those, it had a little flavor, but still very disappointing. We'd probably come back at some point, but stick with burgers.

    Kobe burger -fantastic!

Plenty of options and usually very busy getting and out is not the easiest given it's a food court style eatery.

    Any vegan options available?

Where do you park to access the restaurant? Which parking garage?

It is much closer to the Tower parking lot - when you are looking at the hotel, the one to the left.

We started with the okra (incredible) and a cucumber salad, and everything tasted SO fresh and local. For our entrées, we ordered the steak and the salmon pasta BOTH were absolutely phenomenal. There were so many things we wanted to try on the menu, and our server made the experience even better. They were honest, knowledgeable, and took the time to break down each dish, even down to the smallest ingredients, which really helped us decide. The vibe at The Sweet Onion is intimate and personal without feeling cramped or crowded. It's that perfect balance of casual and upscale! You could easily dress up for a date night or come in more relaxed for drinks and dinner. On top of that, the prices were extremely good for the quality of food and the level of service. I would 100% recommend this spot to both locals and visitors!!! I genuinely think about this place at least once a week, and if I still lived locally, I'd be dining here a few times a month without hesitation.

First, the location itself is really unique... years ago this was a Greyhound bus station! The whole asthetic was very unique, and beautifully refurbished. We did have to wait an hour for a table (make a reservation!), but it was comfortable and the staff were ALL very friendly! Once seated, our server Nicole was amazing! We were pretty much ready with our order after looking at the menu while waiting. My MIL and I both got the open faced roast beef sandwich, and both with garlic mashed potatoes. I also got a side salad (soooo good, the candy pecans and ranch, wow!), and she got the French onion soup. It looked great, I'll have to try it next time! My bread was slightly burnt on the edges, and while the au jus that comes with it was ok, we ordered some of the brown gravy (that comes with the meatloaf) and it elevated it so much! If the staff reed this, that would be a smart move! My wife got the 12oz ribeye, and she kindly gave me a few bites. OMG, one of the top 3 steaks I've ever had!!! We both don't like anything on our steaks, and the natural flavor was unbelievable! It was cooked perfectly! All in all, it was a great experience and we WILL be back next time we are in town!
