Hotel is ok to just sleep in. There was people everywhere at night, seemed like the employees lived there. The tv, blow dryer, and drains were all broken. The tub filled with water and pooled at your feet while showering. The sheets and pillows were paper thin and the mattress was just bouncy and full of springs. The staff was the worse. Me and my boyfriend booked a weekend and my sister-in-law and boyfriend tagged along last minute and I completely forgot that I booked it for 2 people and the front desk employee accused me of lying. He threatened me with a $100 fee if I didn't pay the $40 extra while standing behind my car not allowing us to leave. It made me very uncomfortable and made us feel like criminals.. only plus to this place is it was the cheapest place and only 7 minutes from the casino. I'll never stay here again! read more

Don't do it. Booked through Hotels.com who names a price but doesn't tell you the hotel. Pulled up and thought they were closed down. Place was deserted. All the rooms are smoking and seriously stink with years of smoke. Everything was like oddly damp? Cigarette ashes in all the drawers. Shower curtain was sticky? Luckily I brought a sleeping bag to sleep on top of the sheets. Outside of that, you always think you might get stabbed at a lot of places like this, at this plate, you'd be right. The place was very dirty, smelled like cigarettes, and had lots of bugs. They also looked for every excuse to keep the deposit.

Ugh!!! We stayed overnight to go to the casino. The 1st room they gave us smelled like mold. The refrigerator had mold in it. We asked for another room, it was just as bad. The microwave worked only when the door was open there were bugs under the bed and the room also smelled of mold. The pool is full of dirty water and reeds growing out of it. If you really want to see what out stay is like, look up Rodeway Inn in Gainesville, TX on Youtube. We filed a complaint with the parent company and eventually received a refund. Never again! The thing that really made us persue the issue is when the on duty manager came to inspect the rooms, he found abosultely nothing wrong with them. We had to go and buy rubber gloves, Lysol wipes and 2 cans of Lysol to be able to have somewhere to sleep. We considered driving the 2 hours back home but we were too tired. read more

Reserved a non smoking room and was told there were none available. The room smelled horribly, including bedding and towels. There were cigarette holes in the comforter and what looked like blood on the side of the bed frame. Left after a few hours sleep to head home. read more

I am 17 and was trying to get a hotel there and I asked the receptionist the age policy and she said 21. So I was then asked about getting someone over 21+ to buy the hotel and she conveyed that they would have to stay there with me and then I told her that they could stay in the room with me and she said she didn't believe me. I was trying to get someone 21+ to buy the hotel and I definitely could have asked that person to stay there with me. And this is more petty but I bought two dollars worth of snacks from the vending machine but my second dollar got rejected from the vending machine and she said about how the dollar needled to be facing up and I in no way feel like the receptionist needed to say that. I am bummed I didn't get a room though and I definitely should have asked to speak to a manager. read more

Don't ever ever stay here. Not only did we not have a garbage can when we went into our room, we found the TV on as if someone else had been in the room. Then in the shower we found pubic hairs. After getting past that, pulled down the covers and all over the sheets and pillowcases was human hair and makeup stains. With everything going on right now in this world, you would think that you would at least have a clean room to sleep in. read more

Horrible experience, customer service, and nasty rooms. Stay away!! I told them on the phone I had two dogs, they said $20 pet fee. Then I got there, and it was $40 for two dogs. Asked them if they would honor what I was told on the phone, and they have me a really hard time and argued with me for like 5 mins. Finally they said that they would charge me $30, and continued to complain about it. Went to the room and it smelled really bad. Ended up not staying there. read more

I thought the staff was friendly and the rooms have been renovated. Not great but for the price I was okay. Not that I wanted to swim but the pool and hot tub were filled in and it is a smoking area barbecue pit. Everything else was fine until My husband asked for the soap and shampoo there was none. When I got out of bed and pulled the sheet back to give him my soap, I found big bed bug in the bed crawling around. I looked on the internet and yep!! That was a huge one too! Completely disgusted.. The lobby smelled so bad that my friend was nauseous. We checked in at 8pm on a Friday night and left for a couple of hours to go to the casino. When we came back I honestly felt like at any minute someone would kick our door in and rob us. The bathtub was disgusting and the beds were so hard and lumpy... My friend forgot to buy water to take her medicine and when she drank from the faucet it took everything not to vomit. Both of us could not sleep at all. At about 6am we decided to go back back home and end what should have been a weekend trip... Do not recommend this place at all.. read more

We were welcomed to a screaming family behind the check in desk, hair in the sink and dirty towels hanging on the door in bathroom.The faucet to the bathtub and the shower curtain rod were barely hanging on with wrapped MASKING TAPE around them. Yes, it's close to the casino and you'll save over $100 to stay there but it's disgusting. If you miss the exit, you've got a long way to loop back around. read more

The floor was not clean, the towels were dingy, the refrigerator was dirty, the pillows were flat and the room had an old smell. We should not have stayed, but the room was already paid for by someone else. I would not have chosen this place. Other than being close to the casino this place is a SHITHOLE. Vending machines and ice machine do not work , you have to go to the office to get it. Washer and dryer do not work. Pool have green algae in it and very nasty. Hot tub don't have water. Bfast is no good. Cable goes out about once a week. They clean room, change sheets, and give towels once a week. They told me to wash my own sheets since I soiled it. No complementary coffee.. in general this place is nasty .. do not come here!!!!!! read more

Should have know this was a terrible hotel when I came in and the office smelled aweful. Our rooms' bathroom smelled like shit, I guess it needed a new wax ring. The beds were more like sleeping on springs and noone got any sleep. The carpet was very old and the AC worked speraticly. The internet showed it had a pool, but when we got there it was filled with dirt. The attendant could not even make us two keys for the room. They would have to pay me to stay here again. read more

I attempted to make an employee reservation today and was called soon after booking my reservation to inform me if I didn't live within a 30 mile radius to their property as a Choice Hotels employee I would not be able to stay using my discount. The person I spoke with had already cancelled my reservation for me before he even spoke to me. As a Choice employee I would like to inform you that you do have the right to make certain rules and regulations but this Sir is ridiculous and bad business practice. I would like you to know that you have cancelled a reservation due to it being a discounted employee discount. Period. Your reason is not good enough to cancel my reservation. After looking at your reviews on several websites. ChoiceHotels.com/Expedia/Booking.com and Yelp. I would like to thank you for cancelling my reservation.
