Have frequented this Travel Center for over 5 years. Always friendly. Churchs Chicken and Mexican food restaurants inside. Clean restrooms. Good diesel and gasoline pricing. NOTICE: The AP Travel Center took a direct hit from a level 3 tornado shortly after midnight June 26, 2024. Over 60 people trapped and injured. Luckily there were no serious injuries. Only 2 souls required hospitalization and they were released within hours. Sure they will be closed for immediate future. read more

Not being from this town and coming from San Antonio, I have to say wow. I'm super impressed, from the outside in I love everything about it. I've been here a few times and it's my go To corner store now! I mean like what other corner store has subway & churches in the same place!? Yeah , exactly.... I can't wait to come back to this city. It's no longer standing! It's very sad. When it was I stopped there often when traveling to the TX border.

Place is going down hill fast!! Used to be a great place to stop and grab a bite to eat and get gas. Idk what is happening but now it's horrible.the restrooms are always dirty and filthy.the food in the hotbox is always old and stale. Stopped in to.get chicken for the Churches chicken and it was way over fried and if you don't speak Spanish don't bother ordering. Used to stop every day to get a fountain drink but now I refuse to because the last 6 times all the drinks have been flat and the table was disgusting.i guess it is an alright store if you are just getting gas and paying at the pump instead of going in. read more
