Stayed overnight for a college tour of UB the next morning. Arrived late, feared worst room in the…read morebuilding. Surprised to find a nice room and close parking. Reception staff very nice and helpful, at 10 pm check in. Two room suite w kitchen and living room, and bedroom with two queen beds. Really comfortable and heating system was great. Usually hotel rooms have some window unit blowing air hot and cold on you all night and the wall thermostat doesn't work, just the dials on the window unit. At Homewood Suites the temp was perfect. Bathroom was a little tight, with sink/mirror in the bedroom and toilet and tub in a separate tiny room. Hard to get in and out of give the smug space. Furniture was a little dated, but having a microwave and full size fridge was great. Really nice breakfast, better than other hotels. Son even played basketball in a court next to the breakfast room surrounded by a net wall. Definitely better than places nearby. Suggest you stay here.

Excellent Hotel. I tend to now stay in only Homewood properties. Liked the location of this one…read moreclose to everything. The staff was good i didn't have that many requests to begin with anyways. We just needed a clean and quiet room away from any noise and well anyone with a family do not book us near them. We were on a very quiet floor. The beds were comfy. Rooms spacious. Went on a weekday and was told there was a complimentary Managers Reception. Thought nothing about it and was greeted with a full blown meal with some delicious wine. I believe it was all you can eat but honestly one plate was enough. The morning buffet breakfast was ample. The staff seem to be on point and quickly serviced. As everything was available i did not need to reach out to staff. Check in and out was so easy. So yes, i'd definetly return again. Had a great stay!!

Great place to stay in Buffalo, exceptionally friendly front desk staff. Coming in from whatever…read moreactivities we did each day, and no matter who was up front, we were greeted and they were welcoming as we passed. Hotel is crisp and clean throughout, rooms are comfortable and we did not notice any cleaning issues. It's not something I would take a star off for, but mainly because it's Buffalo. We were annoyed that the rooms had motion sensing thermostats. Even with the mild weather that we were visiting during, the lack of air circulation while gone always made the room uncomfortable to return to, because it was stuffy. Thankfully, it would be cleared up within 20-30 minutes, but being outside all day and wanting to comfortably relax when you return, it kind of puts a damper on that... and I don't really know what kind of savings it presents. It's easy enough for an AC system to maintain 70 degrees when it barely gets above that outside. Anyhow, thanks to the climate, a minor annoyance. Would stay here again! Forgot to get pics of the room, but I assume if you've seen one you've seen them all here.

Harrowing nightmare at arrival: Hyatt messed up my reservation, and the manager/front desk, Nico…read moreVanbito sent me out on the street with my luggage, after having travelled all night. My stay was booked 2 weeks in advance, but I had to find last minute accommodations elsewhere. To make it even worse, they had the audacity to charge me! Nico Vanbito was hostile, rude, belligerent and never returned my calls when I asked for a refund. Avoid this hotel at all cost.

We have stayed here several times, and I always thought it was a pretty good Hampton, but I felt…read morethere were a couple of negatives this time. There is no top sheet. I am pretty sure the comforters are not changed with each guest so I would prefer a top sheet between me and the comforter. Actually my first impression when I walked in to the room was that the bed was not freshly made. When we were trying to get our receipt at check out, another guest said that the top sheet was way down at the foot of the bed, under the comforter. So, my question is: if there was a sheet there that I could not find(and I looked)why does the housekeeper not know how to make a bed? The shower has a nice amount of water pressure, but barely any pressure in the hand held shower head. The breakfast was a typical Hampton breakfast. Today there were sausage patties and the pre-made omelets in the hot choices. There were some nicely seasoned fried potatoes. I was hoping it was a scrambled egg and bacon day. Fingers crossed for my next Hampton stay. Once agin, peculiarly, I could not get a printed receipt at the front desk when we checked out. After 5 minutes, I said I would just print out the one being sent in an email. This the second time this has happened at this Hampton. I'd rather look at/check my receipt before I leave the hotel.

4 stars Stayed here…read morefor 2 nights on a work trip. Overall, the stay was good; however, one night I found 2 bugs in the bathroom. The hotel seemed clean, but bugs that looked like roaches do not make someone feel comfortable. Positives - I was able to get an early check in. There is a water bottle filling machine on the first floor. The vending area (sodas and snacks) has very reasonable prices. The gentleman at the front desk, Dan, was the nicest hotel clerk I have ever encountered. Overall, the hotel was fairly clean. The towels and bathroom amenities were great quality. The WiFi worked great. See pic: Large (used) trash bag by elevator trash cans - the large bag is provided in room for ease of keeping the room clean and disposing of larger items. This is a great idea being the hotel is next to a sports facility. I can imagine this would help families clean up properly behind themselves! There was also a notice that they are upgrading the tvs to being "smart". While this didn't happen during my stay, it's a positive for future guests! Negatives - The bugs on my first night. The breakfast buffet was just meh. Although there is plenty to choose from, the first day the cheddar egg omelette was old and hard to cut through (breakfast at 7:30am), both days the yogurt was kept in a basket (dairy should be kept on ice), the waffle maker didn't cook all the way through (and no spray to help get the waffle out, so the outer part that was cooked stuck to the waffle maker), and by 7:30 on day 2 they were out of quite a bit of the fresh fruit (the only healthy option). The temperature in the room was hard to control - it doesn't let you select air or heat. 73 was cold air, 74 was like a full blown heater on blast.
