This location needs employees. They can't even offer basic services. Really should not be using the Marriott name. I will write a letter to Marriott corporate offices, as a titanium elite member I should be re-stocked with coffee and water as requested. At this location the response from guest services, I am by myself and have no one to help me. Wow, this is not the Marriott way. I would check out tomorrow, if I wasn't so busy. And should Marriott be licensing its name to locations that can't attract employees?

Courtyards aren't exactly known for their luxury, but this one is GREAT! It's a new hotel so it's clean and beautiful. It's in the Canalside neighborhood on the water just south of downtown Buffalo. Since it's on the water, it's very kid friendly and the train stops right outside the hotel. The lobby is clean, big and even has a 24 hour Starbucks and a restaurant serving decent food. The rooms are big and clean. We'd gladly stay here again!

Upon arrival I needed the bathroom, the girl pointed to the restrooms but they were locked, went back and she said you need to check in first! We needed 30 plus key replacement during a 5 day stay, manager arranged housekeeping daily, the one time they came in 5 days i called the assistant manager to view their work, coffee stains on the counter, bath not cleaned, a previous guests beet bottle under the sink unit. We're promised a refund on parking, refund of points, free breakfast but not all received as communication with staff was awful. could have been a decent stay but sadly I'd never return. Too many other options to have this much poor service. Didn't even have trash can or bags

I needed a place to stay after attending a concert at Key Bank.... and since the hotel was in walking distance to venue it was chosen! Valet parking was amazing, so fast and they are so professional. Walking into the lobby you are greeted with a small front desk (had to wait a bit) there is a starbucks inside to. Also plenty of seating at tables and couches to eat and relax. The room has all the modern amenities to make sure your stay is comfortable. a refrigerator, coffee pot and so many electrical outlets. The bathroom was a good size with an new spacious glass shower. The bed was super comfy and those pillows.... zzzzzz. Location location location, walking distance to so many great restaurants and other places ( we went to pearl street grill) and of course Key Bank for a concert.

Never had such a poor omelette. The spinach goes in, it should not be overcooked 'crispy', and fillings were non-existent.The 2nd was bad too

I am never one to write reviews, but since I'm a Marriott share owner, I had to here. Never send out food like this. There needs to be quality check by qualified chef beforw food goes out (Hells kitchen teaches this!) Clearly the cook has no idea how to make an omelette thats light, fluffy, filled with contents, and not burnt crispy. The 2nd attempt on the left was just as bad and shows he basically broke the egg and threw it in the pan with out whippjng it up. Go somewhere else for breakfast.

Very good hotel at a good price and at a great spot at Canalside. Great restaurants nearby and you can watch the sunset where the Buffalo River meets Lake Erie.

This hotel is just great! From reservation to check out , everything is always smooth sailing. There is a great bar downstairs serving good food, Starbucks coffee and drinks. I stay here several times a year because of the convenient location to our office downtown. The rooms are always spacious and clean. I like the toiletries they provide and if you forget a toothbrush or toothpaste they are happy to help with that as well.

King room contains a pull-out sofa bed.

The Inn is right in the heart of the village, with nice restaurants north and south on Elmwood. Intermixed are interesting shops and boutiques, cafes, and even a cool grocery store. A mile south is Allen Street and all its wares; a mile north is Buffalo State and the art museum. Hop on a one of those rent-by-the-hour bikes, and Canalside and downtown is a quick pedal away. Even more, there is easy access to the freeway that gets you to Niagara Falls quickly (I suggest Whirlpool State Park for an alternative trip; the hike to the bottom of the gorge is gorgeous). The Inn itself is clean, interestingly decorated and comfortable. The room we stayed in was large ... and my wife took advantage of the large bathtub to soak away a late evening while enjoying a glass of wine. There are snacks, toiletries, water and other small touches that made the stay very enjoyable. What isn't mentioned on the Inn's website prominently is the breakfast: they are delicious. The owner has worked in the restaurant industry as a chef, and it shows. There is a wide selection of healthy options (such as fruit, granola, yogurt) along with hearty meals, pastries, cheese, sausage, etc. And, perhaps most importantly, the coffee was great. One last thing: take advantage of the porch. There is an outdoor sitting area off the communal living room that provides a great place for enjoying coffee and a newspaper in the morning, and a delicious nightcap (perhaps with some Buffalo-style pizza) in the late evening. The people watching from the porch is also great (Elmwood Avenue is pedestrian-heavy throughout the day and evening). Anyway ... if you enjoy culture, food, people-watching, access and beautiful neighborhoods, you'll love this place.

Hotel is crisp and clean throughout, rooms are comfortable and we did not notice any cleaning issues. It's not something I would take a star off for, but mainly because it's Buffalo. We were annoyed that the rooms had motion sensing thermostats. Even with the mild weather that we were visiting during, the lack of air circulation while gone always made the room uncomfortable to return to, because it was stuffy. Thankfully, it would be cleared up within 20-30 minutes, but being outside all day and wanting to comfortably relax when you return, it kind of puts a damper on that... and I don't really know what kind of savings it presents. It's easy enough for an AC system to maintain 70 degrees when it barely gets above that outside. Anyhow, thanks to the climate, a minor annoyance. Would stay here again! Forgot to get pics of the room, but I assume if you've seen one you've seen them all here.
