I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The location is perfect. There's attached parking and a Tim Hortons at street level. It's across the street from the waterfront and there's a stop for the tram right outside your door. The beds are comfy and the bath products provided smell delicious. I was fortunate to have access to the M Lounge which was fantastic. The same chef cooks for the onsite restaurant which has fantastic views and fresh crafted cocktails. I would definitely stay at this location if I return to Buffalo. read more

If there ever was a five-star hotel, Buffalo Marriott at LECOM HARBORCENTER is it. Its reception, bar, and restaurant are located on the seventh floor offering breathtaking views of the Harborcenter, marine areas, the harbor, and the waterway. The place is pristine clean with polite, helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable staff. Their Panorama restaurant not only offers exquisite food but completely redefines dining with a view. I was mesmerized watching the boats coming and going in the harbor. My room, which was on the 15th floor was drop-dead gorgeous of ultra-modern style and décor. I'd swear I had walked into something done by a modern-day Frank Lloyd Wright. But even more stunning were the views of the harbor and the city. I could even see Buffalo City Hall. Notes: our room was free with hotel points and we had access to the hotel lounge. An impromptu trip so we had no activities planned. We chose to use valet service which was about $5 more than self park (plus tip). Valet service was easy and prompt. Check-In was easy. The room was clean. We had a king room with a city view. The bed was comfortable and everything looked updated. There is a large private gym and the hotel gym is a small room off to the side. The hotel gym had several cardio rooms and a few weight machines and a small set of dumbbells. They also had towels and a cooler with small bottles of water. Lounge - the lounge is off of the main restaurant. Lounge access is 24/7. They had a cooler with water, sodas etc and various snacks available. In the evening, they had some warm appetizers and charcuterie options. In the mornings, they had the usual scrambled eggs, bacon, etc. My favorite was the nespresso machine! Later in the evening of our stay, staff did send a bottle of Prosecco, dessert and a lovely anniversary note. All in all, we'd return to this spot in the future. read more

I loved the location of this hotel. Walking distance to the arena (my friends and I went for two hockey games), some excellent bars, and it's right outside the light rail for places just beyond walking distance. The lobby is in the 7th floor, which is a bit different compared to what I'm used to. I generally have been sticking with Marriott hotels as their quality tends to be great and it's the easiest to collect points for it, and this place was no exception. The room size was spacious (no upgrade), we had a nice view of the lake and river, and the hallways were quiet despite knowing there was a party being thrown further down the hallway. If most of your Buffalo activities are concentrated to downtown and canalside, this is an excellent hotel for you! read more

Buffalo Marriott at LECOM Harborcenter is a conveniently located hotel right next to - and also connected to - the KeyBank Center in downtown Buffalo. Convenience and access to KeyBank Center are the major wins when staying at this Marriott location... but you're paying a premium for these wins, and I'd otherwise say the hotel rooms themselves leave something to be desired. For the sake of comparison, I've stayed in downtown Chicago - king bed, corner room w. big windows, junior suite at a very nice boutique hotel - and paid less per night than I did at this Buffalo Marriott (for a lake view room with two queen beds). The room I was provided at this location was fine... but also felt fairly generic. There were no real "extras" like you'd expect for the pricetag. And while the staff at this hotel were very lovely, there are certainly some improvements that could be made to the overall experience (packaging of room service items, pillows that don't go almost immediately flat, etc). The entrances / mapping around the elevators feels a bit wonky when you first get there, but once you make your way around a little bit? It's super easy. Almost as easy as taking the little walkway / skybridge across the way to KeyBank Center. TL;DR The rooms leave something to be desired, but convenience and accessibility are the big wins here. I might consider staying here again if attending an event at KeyBank Center... but I might look at alternative hotels that would probably more align with their price point. read more

Location: fantastic. Just steps to the canalside waterfront. I was able to take a lovely morning walk each morning a couple miles round trip along the water. Dining: outstanding. Honestly, I had one of the best meals of my life at the lobby restaurant (Panorama on Seven). Special of the day - swordfish and sides, done to perfection. The gluten free desserts were brilliant. Sunset view is beautiful btw. Comfort: great. The bed was very comfortable, the room was spacious. Bathroom was fine with nice toiletries in the shower. Service: lovely. All the staff were friendly, helpful and went out of their way to be helpful. I needed a band aid for a blister and the gal at the front desk found one for me without hesitation. This place was a great place to stay for a wedding. There were also a bunch of rumors stating that Josh Allen was staying at the hotel and riding elevators with some guests here. The room was comfortable. The city view was cool. It was pretty easy to get everywhere. I wouldn't say walking distance...though you can certainly walk. It's just sketchy to walk to places around here. Cool views. The staff were very friendly. Parking is expensive. Cool that Southern Tier Brewery, Tim Hortons, ICE rinks, etc. are all on site. read more

I think a common theme in all the reviews for this property is location. The hotel is easy to get to from the interstate and is situated close to shopping, restaurants, attractions, and public transportation. An on-site parking facility makes it easy to self-park and for a rate I thought was more than fair. I checked in using the mobile app but still had to check in at the front desk as the app was not working. The front desk staff were great. Very friendly and more than helpful with questions and providing information. I used suite night awards so the room I was assigned ended up being far more spacious than I would have imagined. I encountered the same problem as I did the last time I stayed at this property and that is a room cleaned in a half-hazard manner. While it was obvious someone had come in, wiped down the furniture, made the bed, and vacuumed the floor, there was no attention to detail. Hair in the shower, spills on the tabletop, crumbs underneath furniture, dust on lamp bases/furniture lets, etc. After a long trip in pouring rain, I opted to just accept it instead of addressing the issue with staff members. This happening one time can be considered a fluke, twice though and it seems like a trend. read more

Nice conference rooms on the 7th Floor, next to the Lobby. The room was comfortable, with nice chairs.although the temperature was quite cold at times. The Coffee and Tea Rea could have been better set up. For example, there was not a decaffeinated pot available on the first day of the meeting. The Half-Half was spoiled when I added it to my coffee.' The Hot water was cold by the afternoon, It was not refreshed and the heaters under the pots were extinguished. The ladies room for the conference area needd attention by mid-day. I let the meeting organizers about these things. By the second day(today) things were a bit better. Truly exceptional professional hospitality and predominately due to very seasoned, well-rounded and traveled Marriott hospitality professionals. Our first contact by one of the managers late afternoon on Christmas Day was sheer perfection and instantly put us in a place of ease after a very long cross-country road trip. This service made what made a high end Marriott concept worth the price in a market that otherwise may not have been able to support it. Buffalo, NY lacks enough waterfront activity or walking distance nightlife to make this a destination hotel in and of itself. Yet, our experience and the conditions of this hotel made it worth the rates and all the gratuity we spent. This is what professional hospitality service is and what sets the professionals apart from the workers or employees. It is the attitude and commitment to serve and to make guests' experience priority. Our room was modern, comfortable, airy, with plush beds and seemed perfectly suited let you just melt into a cloud. The room was absolutely clean. All housekeeping staff were professional, friendly, and willing to assist. Because of Covid protocol, this hotel, similar to others, does not automatically clean rooms or changes linens daily. The request for this service can be made in person or through the Marriott Bonvoy app. With the ability to make these requests via the Bonvoy mail Asoka and efficiently. We had the opportunity to visit the M Club, a benefit for some Bonvoy Mariott members where snacks and beverages are often available in a suite tucked away from the crowds. This is a beautiful space with a single attendant and in my opinion well worth starting and locking into a loyalty journey with Marriott. Parking at this venue is not included and is run by a separate entity. It is less expensive that other sister properties in other similar cities, though, and with very poor mass transit options, access to vehicles, cabs, or ride share are essential if you care to or need to leave the immediate area. The Buffalo, NY metro rail, from the start decades ago, literally travels only up and down Main Street from LeCom Harbourfront to the University of Buffalo Main Street Campus. Buffalo, NY is not an easily walkable city and assuming one can easily access nightlife or other entertainment features by walking from the metro stops, especially for out of town visitors unfamiliar with the area, may prove difficult and dangerous. Many of the stops are unsafe and ill-attended. What we LOVED: -The staff, many from out of country with incredible service skills, a level of kindness and professionalism that is hard to find, even at this level. -Access to bar and restaurant services (reviewed separately) -Absolutely CLEAN rooms -Access to Canisius College hockey rinks where you easily spend a little time watching pee wee hockey players practice if you wish -Walking access to the Buffalo Sabres NHL rink (really only a benefit if you care to attend a game) -Walking access to the Canalside ice skating rink which we did and LOVED but again, only a benefit if you care to ice skeet or watch ice skating -The staff, again, and the accommodations, that made me feel so relaxed, welcome, and because of that allowed me to decompress from a business year and long drive to Buffalo across country I highly recommend. read more

How does a hotel get 5 stars from me? Let me tell you. I just don't Willy Nilly give hotels 5 star reviews. If you don't believe me, look at my review of the American Inn in Bethesda. 1. The Water Pressure: Man... this might have been the best hotel water pressure ever. I'm sure we've all been there: or maybe I just randomly choose all hotels with no water pressure? In any event, the water pressure was amazing! I think it's better than my water pressure at home. And the shower head was different, but top notch. *Man, is this guy obsessed with water pressure* One answer: YES. 2. Friendly, courteous, and quick valets. 3. Front desk was very friendly and actually came to show me how the elevators worked. The hotel lobby is on like the 7th floor, and then from there you go up in 2 separate elevators to the rest of the hotel's floors. 4. Plenty of outlets and USB spots 5. Beds were comfortable, TV had HBO GO, and everything was really nice and modern. 6. Floating vanity with embedded mirror light in the bathroom was nice I mean... I just very much enjoyed this stay. In my eyes, Buffalo is a city you can visit once and be done with it. There are only so many interesting things you can do. That being said, there is only one hotel that should even be an option during your Buffalo trip - and that hotel is the Buffalo Marriott Harborcenter. The building pretty much anchors the area around Key Arena. The front of the building is pretty hard to find, but the beauty of the hookup and make of the hotel is that you can self park in the lot underneath easily for half the price. My dad and I parked and worked our way up to the hotel. The hotel starts on the 7th floor. You're immediately greeted with the Marriott signature scent (my favorite of the Marriott scents!) The lobby is striking. Their restaurant and bar concept is located to the right, while their banquet space is on the left. Straight ahead you'll find service agents eagerly awaiting to check you in. We were upgraded to a lake view room (which I'm sure wasn't hard to do since it was January). I still appreciated my upgrade and went to the room. Since this Marriott is new, it's built with the renovated room style. It's not as stuffy with extra furniture. Everything is crisp and modern. The layout reminds me of something you'd find in a Kohler commercial. We were only there one night but we were very comfortable. The best thing about the Harborcenter is that it's hooked up to the entertainment complex that was created for the Key arena. My dad and I were able to go to 716 pre and post game, and head over to the arena itself without going outside. That was a HUUUUGE plus considering we were in one of the coldest US cities in January. I never felt the need to bring my coat and I was ever thankful for it. We had a drink at the bar and found out that either January is a popular travel month for Canadians, or that there really isn't anywhere to go prior to a Sabres game. The bar and restaurant were packed. After a few minutes of scoping my dad and I were able to grab to awkward seats at the south end of the bar. They were awkward because it made it difficult for the bartenders to see us. Not necessarily their fault - it was more of a design flaw. Nonetheless, these employees were busting their butts. I sincerely hope they were tipped handsomely. If for some odd reason my travels bring me back to Buffalo, I know for a fact I won't choose to stay anywhere except the Marriott Harborcenter. Centrally located. The rooms were a good size. The only issue I had was the shower pan was scratched and old so it made it look dirty.

My hotel experience was so close to perfect, so close. Made a one night reservation over the phone for a Friday night and booked a room with a king size bed, facing the city, instead of the lake because it was a bit cheaper. With my triple A discount the room came to $205 for one night. If you wanted to park down the street in the parking garage it was $10. However, valet was $18 and you can come and go as often as you please. $18 for valet is insane when you are paying big bucks for the room, additionally tipping the valet attendants each time your car is parked and the $10 for WIFI. Yeah, they charge for WIFI which is ludicrous and pretty unheard of these days, you know in the year 2016 and all. Rip off. Am I right? Okay so I valeted my car and headed inside the hotel to which I would have assumed was the lobby but it wasn't, there were just elevators, which evidently needed instruction manuals because the set upon entering didn't lead you to the rooms, only up to floor 7, the actual lobby. Too weird and as I'm riding up the elevator to the lobby I'm thinking, ugh. Well that was my reaction until I stepped out onto the 7th floor and was blown away. The front desk had an electric fireplace behind it, beautiful crafted into the wall, everything was sleek, modern, cozy and pretty much everything you could want. The "lobby" has Panorama on Seven right next to it with a large bar that was literally screaming, "Come drink." I was able to resist for a few hours, checked in and headed up to my room on the 14th floor which you could only get to through a second set of elevators, like I said, instructions needed. Quick note: naturally for my one night stay, I had three suitcases, three shoeboxes, two grocery bags and a cooler and stacked my things on a bell cart which I was told would be brought up to my room. The room was gorgeous, if you're into hardwood floors and that super modern look and feel, which, thankfully, I most certainly am. HUGE windows overlooking the city of Buffalo and by overlooking the city I mean overlooking the filthy rooftop of the smaller building next-door but nevertheless, it was a view. Huge flat screen television which allowed you to log into your netflix, pandora, hulu or amazon accounts to listen to tunes or watch a flick. So I had the Pandora crankin, was rolling around the king size bed (mattress VERY very firm) and there was a little l shaped couch nook with a coffee table which was convenient. Large full length mirror, decent closet space and a big bathroom with a shower and plenty of vanity space. I was impressed. Then, I realized the cart with my luggage never came so I called down to the front desk and they put me on hold for a solid 2 minutes which made me think about all of my things that were possibly MIA and really glad I decided to walk up my bottle of champagne myself so I knew at least that was safe. Seconds later a gentleman arrived at the door with the cart and unloaded all of my bags, hung all of my coats was so professional and friendly, I loved it. I went to the gym which is on the 6th floor. The gym is TINY, couple bikes, treadmills, ellipticals, one leg machine, one arm machine and free weights. Yet, their kid's hockey training gym is 10 times the size down the hall. With that being said, the equipment is modern and new, they have complimentary water bottles, towels and headphones for you and the windows make for a killer workout view. Checked out panorama on seven around 7 pm. The bartender was great, friendly, attentive and everything was going well until I got my bill. I told the bartender I wanted a big in your face bone dry glass of red and he said he had just the thing. If I had known the glass was 22 freaking dollars I would have sipped a little slower, OH, and you know, not have gotten it in the first place. I'm a student for goodness sakes. So that was sneaky in my opinion. The front desk called us a cab as we were headed out for dinner which was convenient. Besides the unnecessary additional fees, the stay was really exceptional. The hotel staff (valet, front desk, people I communicated with over the phone to make reservations were beyond professional, beyond.) Almost forgot, check in is at 4, I called around 11 to see if I could get in sooner and the woman assisting me found a clean room and let me check in at 2, so appreciated. Valet during checkout time is hectic, so if you're in a rush head out early. Tim Hortons is connected to the hotel so you don't have to go outside which is nice. That's all. All around the Harborcenter Marriott is a fantastic full-service hotel. It's not cheap by any means, but you get what you pay for. Everything is new, clean, and fresh. The lobby, restaurant (Panorama), and rooms are all very modern and well-designed. As people have mentioned, the lobby is up on the 7th floor, and it's easily marked and accessible from all the signage in the parking garage. There's a Tim Hortons on the first floor, you don't have to go outside to access it. The building is right across from Canalside, which is beautiful in the mornings, great for walks. The (free) train has a stop right in front of the building and will take you right into downtown. The bed was a little on the firm side, but comfortable. The TV's are "smart" TV's and allow you to log into your own apps (Netflix, Hulu, etc). This was our first time visiting the hotel. We booked to stay for New Year's eve. There wasn't anything special going on at the hotel but it is the perfect location in the center of downtown to go to various bars and restaurants. The hotel is connected to HSBC Arena, 716 food and sport, and Tim Horton's. When you walk outside, you are right at Canalside where you'll see the big yellow beach chair and a big outdoor ice rink. The lobby is located on the seventh floor because 716 takes up the bottom portion of the hotel. You can get to the lobby through the parking ramp easily. I noticed right away how modern and clean it all feels. Panorama on Seven (restaurant/bar) is located in the lobby. The staff was really nice. We were offered valet parking but it really isn't necessary if you find a nice spot in the ramp. The room cost us $390 this night. The fee included a continental breakfast and "M club lounge" access. We booked the room months in advance and the hotel was definitely booked up. The room was really nice. We had a choice of city view or water front view and we chose city. It looked amazing at night. The windows take up the entire wall which is nice for the day. But, there's nice heavy shades that make the room pitch black when you close them. There was a big flat screen, fridge, safe, and sofa in the room. There was plenty of drawer and hanging space. It was nicely decorated and modern. I usually feel uncomfortable sleeping in hotels but this time I didn't. The bathroom was extremely clean. There was a very large stand up shower and lots of clean towels. The continental breakfast (additional $) was worth it. Hot scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, French toast, fruits, bagels/toast/pastries/cereals, yogurt parfaits, oatmeal with tons of fix in's, etc. All very fresh. Usually continental breakfast means a stale muffin but this was the compete opposite. I would've given this five stars but when checking in, the staff briefly mentioned the continental breakfast package we ordered but forgot to mention how we also purchased "M club level" access. Again, we booked this months ago so I completely forgot we purchased the breakfast let alone the "M club level" (or even knew what it was.) The M club level was a separate little space in the lobby that had a variety of snacks, drinks, tea/coffee, tv's, computer access, etc. The staff did not explain this to us and we did not take advantage of it simply because we didn't know what it was or where it was for that matter. Sleek and new, this hotel sits on the water in downtown Buffalo. Its very modern. You arrive and can valet your car, or park yourself. The reception is on the 7th floor, so you'll be taking an elevator either way. Its all beautiful. The hotel has 2 restaurants, if you include 716. Its connected to the sports facility so instead of a pool they have an ice rink. Have to say that didn't do it for us, so our guests decided not to stay there. Modern millennium luxurious styled hotel. The lobby is fun with the double sided fireplace that u can see from the lobby and the business center. Rooms are super modern and I love the ottoman as part of the closet to put your luggage bag on or use as seat to put on your shoes. The room I had also had a nice side table and seat which was great for opening the laptop and doing some work. Breakfast buffet and snacks are fresh and a nice bonus. This hotel has a nice and spacious 24/7 gym with 9 cardio machines, free weights and some weight machines. Water and towels and complementary headphones are all nice bonuses. The hotel is conveniently connected to one of the ice rinks and is above a few shops and restaurants such as 716 and Tim Horton's. The Niagara First Center is also within 5 minutes walking distance - Rhinana is playing here while I'm in town- cool! However there is no noise that carries from the venue over to the hotel which is great for people who are turning in for the evening. The boardwalk and navy museum are also 5 mins or less walking distance and I can see this being a hopping environment in the summer months. Reasons I cannot give a 5 star rating: The water pressure in the shower is very very low and the curtain at the window does not close from end to end, when I pulled the curtain to one end, the other side has window and lots of light peaking in and visa versa. No shuttle is also a minor disappointment- be sure to call at least 10 mins in advance to the front desk to order a cab. read more

This review is for the bar at the hotel only. The bar has fantastic views of both downtown and the water. When I joined my friend, he had already placed our order with Joey the mixologist on duty. Next, I am watching Joey burn wood chips and capturing the smoke in a glass container, that he later introduced the bourbon for our Old Fashions. Next he placed an oversized ice cube in a device that shaped the cube onto an ice ball. After a couple of minutes of chopping and cutting, it all came together into the freshest and tastiest cocktail I ever had. read more

I am a road warrior and I'm fairly loyal to Marriott hotels. I have never had such exceptional service in my life! We got in yesterday. My son wasn't feeling well. They helped me find a 24 hour urgent care facility. You would expect just about any hotel would do that. Where they went above and beyond is the very same front desk clerk called our room the next day to see how he was feeling. Today, at breakfast my son (who is not shy) pretty much gave our waitress our life story. Tonight would be his first hockey game. A little while ago, we got a knock on our door. A server was there with a tray that held 2 Buffalo Sabres hats, 2 bottles of apple juice, 2 bottles of iced tea (my favorite), and a TON of candy. We lost power during the blizzard and walked to the Marriott at Harborcenter. the line to check in for a room was long due to the power outage in the area. The front desk attendant was so friendly and accommodating. We got a room for overnight and had to extend our stay through after Christmas because the power was still out, they gave us an extra night with no trouble at all. The staff was amazing and so friendly. Thank you to the staff for making things easier on us during a chaotic time. We appreciate each and everyone of you. I'm not gonna lie, there isn't much going on in downtown Buffalo. That said, if you asked me the best place to stay, it's the Marriott Harborcenter. The waterfront is steps from the hotel and it's a nice area to walk around in the summer months. I was here on business just after the 4th. The staff was ridiculously accommodating. They literally went out of their way to make my stay better. The drinks at the bar were some of the best I have ever had in my life. We had some snacks at the bar and they were amazing. My room was amazing. I had couch two double beds and a phenomenal bathroom. My only complaint was there was no desk. I guess the couch and table made up for it? Not sure. Anyway- I worked at the bar so case closed there. Highly recommend it, and have Dan make your drinks. They were perfect. read more

Newer Marriott location for Buffalo. Hotel has a bright and clean lobby with a nice restaurant (Panorama on Seven) attached. Stayed here on a Monday night for business. Checked in and received a room upgrade (the presidential suite) as part of Marriott Rewards Gold status. Doesn't get much better than that. Spacious suite with dining table for 14, kitchen with wine storage and dishwasher. Living area with nicely appointed furniture. Bed was very comfy and air condition is quiet. Lots of windows with beautiful lake views. read more

This review is for the bar only. There really is no grand "front side" to the hotel. Because of the way the Harbor Center was built, the only entrance is the small valet ramp on the west side of the building. If you're a local not staying at the hotel, then just find street parking and walk it. Walk through the valet entrance and take the elevator to the 7th floor / check-in. The 7th floor lobby desk is super small and you're immediately distracted by the lounge/bar to your right (which isn't really a bad thing). I wish I had a picture of the view but you get a great outlook over Canalside to the west. I've been to this bar twice with friends and never had a bad experience. Standard Marriott bar service and pricing. I would avoid the $14 cocktails because local/domestic beer pricing is quite affordable for a Marriott. Most wines come in 3/6/9 oz. variations. But be prepared to get snickered at for getting the 3 oz. tasting. There's casual lounge seating against the west side windows which are comfortable if you're able to grab a spot. Overall, not a bad place for a quiet (depending on when you go) drink. A little pricey for Sabres games or pre-gaming. read more

This hotel was outstanding! The rooms were clean and lovely. The check-in staff was courteous and very efficient. Joey, Emrah & Osman were excellent bartenders. They were knowledgeable and engaging. They were all patient with questions we had about different drinks. They found the perfect drinks to accommodate our individual tastes. Grace was an outstanding waitress, catering to our every need. We were so pleased with our stay here at this Marriott. Once again Marriott lives up to our high standards! read more

Just checked in for a family wedding weekend Jason at the front desk was beyond professional and extremely friendly. He helped us out with an early check in and made us very comfortable in the M-lounge while the room was being prepared. The view of the harbor is gorgeous. This is the best spot in the city! Will be back for sure! The plot thickens ... Just got back from a quick lunch at the anchor bar and was pleasantly surprised to see champagne and the most incredible sponge candy/cheesecake with a beautiful note from Erin,Jason and Jackie wishing us a happy anniversary I would call this a high-end and beautiful Marriott with mom and Pop charm! Day 2: breakfast in the hotel restaurant we had this distinct pleasure of having Gracie as our server, you want to talk about lovely person and classic old time attention to service detail and around about warm demeanor nobody can touch this lady! As a update this review, we are currently sitting in the panorama on seven bar, and our mixologist who goes by the name of the Emrah is TOPS in the field watching him is like watching a true artist has he mixes our old fashionds, Manhattan's and martinis, This man takes pride in his work! All I can say is the Pegula Family has hit a homerun in putting up one of the most incredibly perfect hotels/properties around! Well we are leaving the Queen City and heading home, special thanks to Casey at the front desk for all of your helpful answers all questions we had and a nice easy check out procedure with him as well, additional thanks to Sarah B and the other guest room attendants that kept us feeling comfy! Modern hotel right in the middle of Canalside, adjacent to the First Niagara Center and within walking distance to a number of bars on the water. The service here is outstanding, particularly the valet parking service. It's a little annoying/awkward to take two separate elevators to the room. Not a huge fan of the lobby being on the 7th floor. The hotel is, however, exquisitely located. Everything right now is brand new and very sleek. It's draw is in its location. Rooms are large -- get one with a view of the harbor. It's impressive. Would stay here again if I went to a Sabres game. read more

I have been a Hilton Honors member for years and after one stay at this hotel I am now a Marriott Rewards member. I received unparalleled service that I would expect from the Ritz Carleton or other high end boutique hotels. The bartender Joey, a Marine Veteran is a charming mixologist that literally sits around thinking about how to make amazing drinks even better! Kim is the F&B Manager and goes incredibly out of her way to make you feel important to the hotel and the employees. It's more than just, "thank you for your business", its more like thank you for giving us the opportunity to show you how awesome you are to us. Joanna is our charming server who has a voice and look of old Hollywood. I thought I was talking to Kathleen Turner. You gotta get her at your table! The views are amazing, showing the Harbor area on one side and a lesser property to the East. The beds are dreamy and the decor and art is amazing. I had a full night sleep every night I was there. Every staff member I met went out of their way to serve us and to learn about us so that they could serve us better. Its no wonder this is one of the top hotels in the Marriot chain. This is where I will stay now that I will be in Buffalo so frequently. I love these guys! read more
