For those who are newbies, Rodeo has a reputation for giant breakfasts, amazing bone-in ham steak, and excellent omelettes. Their huevos rancheros with chile verde are quite nice too. We drove into town just to try this place out and we were NOT disappointed. On a Sunday at lunchtime the modestly sized restaurant was bursting with people and had quite a few parties waiting outside. We were told we would have to wait about twenty minutes so we hung out. The exterior space is pretty small, with a single bench and some sidewalk before it hits the next business over and the parking lot. The wait wasn't anything too bad and we were soon seated. The inside is very humble and the crowd is very casual- your Sunday best is probably really overdressed, even on Sunday. All of the staff is super nice and it feels super homey. I ordered the chorizo and eggs. It was super huge portion wise, had great flavor, and came with plenty of tortillas on the side. The star of the dish was actually their potatoes. Big slices of potato with a bright garlicky seasoning and grilled onions that had sweetness and a bit of char- are you kidding me? Sign me up. The breakfast salsa was tasty and authentic. Overall it was the kind of breakfast meant to revive someone from the worst of weeks. Honestly, a daytrip to this little place is totally worth it. Escape to breakfast heaven. read more

Food is good but prices and breakdown of options is absolutely ridiculous. So I had a coke, side of bacon (3 strips) 1 waffle, and rodeo potatoes and when I check out it's $27. That is the definition of over charging for sure. So I'm thinking that maybe the check is not mine and the waitress with the blue hair sorry I don't remember her name, looks at me like yea it's right instead of helping customer to save money on different combo options she put everything in as a side dish. read more

This morning was our first time there and honestly it exceeded our expectations. We were told it would be really good but didn't expect it to be THAT good. My husband got the chilaquiles. I was excited to go here after the reviews. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. I would give this place a 5 star for food presentation. It looked great on the plate, BUT was cold. I told the waitress, she took it back and microwaved the plate. But the beans and eggs were still cold. Who does that to such a nice plate of food, ruined by laziness! Restaurant was dirty, floor was grose.. I gave them a 3 star because the male waiter was nice and always came to our table to see if we needed anything. The person who brings the food is a separate. finally decided to try this place for the first time. I was excited to try their chilaquiles since they had such positive reviews. Ugh what a terrible choice! How do you dig into chilaquiles and bite into a piece of meat! I don't eat meat so this was pretty disappointing because authentic chilaquiles do not include meat. I picked all the pieces I could find out, but it didn't help the flavor much. The potatoes weren't good, they needed salt or something, they did have a foul taste. Nothing in this order was good unfortunately. Vegetarian dishes should come with a warning stating they include meat. Two dishes, $30 down the drain. I'm glad this place has plenty of business so us not going back will not affect them anyways. read more

Just look at the pictures of the Chilaquiles on Yelp and order it. In fact, you won't even find them in the menu anyway, they seem to permanently be on the specials board. Wow this place was great! My husband and I ordered a Fresh Vegtable Omlette and Chilaquiles it came out to twenty something bucks. The omlette was packed with veggies and freshly melted cheese on top. The potatoes were nice and crispy. The toast was warm and buttery, the best part was that it came out on a timely manner.
