Not just cards, but all kinds of toys, memorabilia, comic books, Pokemon, Pop figures, bobbleheads, etc... old and new. They do buy collections from people who just want to get rid of stuff. They do have a lot of singles, high priced cards and memorabilia as well as Pokemon. Wax boxes, blasters, supplies, etc... as well. Since they are pretty big and the only sports card store in the immediate NOVA area, they are a certified Topps & Upper Deck dealer. So they do participate in big promotions & do giveaway cards & have experiences like sports athlete signings and even a Kevin Hart appearence. The staff is friendly and helpful. The prices can be very extremely high on certain "hot" products but there are some products which are on par with other brick and mortar/online stores. Do your research. One can spend hours looking and browsing in the store.

Even better is the sale that was going on for the whole month of July in celebration of their anniversary! Overall, the shop was clean, bright, easy to peruse, had a really great selection of new acquisitions and older staples. I really appreciated the extensive horror section. The music playlist had great vibes, and the woman behind the counter was very personable and friendly. I left the shop with a graphic novel, manga (recommended by staff), a tote bag, sticker, and a single issue comic. I didn't know it would be such a short ride. However, they have been helping me catch up on Luke Cage so that's what I'm reading this summer :-). The odd thing is, I've only seen 2 kids in here. They've moved since then, but only about 200 feet down the road. Same small shopping area. It's much more open so I do miss the stacks on top of stacks of comic books. The one lone guy in front and I chatted for quite a while. Told me the history over the last 30 years since I've just not been in. As others have noted - this is a pretty small store. It might be the smallest comic book store I've seen in the area. But - small is not necessarily a negative. They have a good selection of comics. They also have a small selection of D&D books and dice. After perusing the store - I did not find anything I wanted, but I'll have to drag a couple of my nerdy comic book friends over to check the place out and get their take on the place. #BigPlanetComics
