Came on a Wednesday evening with a couple of family members who recently moved into the hood within walking distance. Shall not be the last visit for any of us, and although I'm a long, long way from home I intend to seek the Sisters out any time I'm visiting. Had the "Philsner" pilsner which had a strong touch of hops but not enough to deter from what I like in one. Also couldn't resist a sample of their stout which had a bit of sweetness to it. I approve of their treatment. An order of wings with some blue cheese dip disappeared quickly. The interior is sparse and the entire brewing area is openly visible to all seated. When we arrived there were but a handful of people and I assumed, wrongly, that might have indicated the general opinion about the food and beer. By the time we left an hour later it was packed. And in a good sign, this included families with kids and grandma and gramps in tow. There's a nice inviting outdoor patio space that would be delightful in warmer weather. If you come: dedicated parking area, credit cards accepted, plenty of inviting menu items if you're looking to dine in. Highly recommended.

We tried an IPA and a raspberry ale and the IPA was better overall than the fruit beer, but we enjoyed them both overall. We had some French onion soup and chips and queso and both were very tasty overall. We didn't get to stay too long since we still had a lot of traveling to do, but we would definitely stop here again when we're in Calgary and we'd recommend it to anyone who's in the area.

It's not a huge place, but it happened to be a weekday afternoon so there was plenty of space for us. Not sure how crowded it gets in the evenings, but it looked like it could be a popular hangout. They were also working on a patio area so I'm sure come spring or summer it'll be a cool place to hang out. We got a couple of flights to share and played one of the board games they had--a nice relaxing way to spend an afternoon. We thought the beers were pretty solid; if we lived around there I'm sure we'd be regulars.
