Great place for beers nice staff great views. Their sour was refreshing. Parking seemed reserved for other businesses so we went around a bit for a spot. I'm overall good place.

Sheepdog was by far our favorite brewery in the Banff area! They had so many fun beers. Our favorite part was the variety of sizes so we could try more and the cute small glasses you could buy to take home.

This place is amazing. The bartenders are so welcoming and cheerful. It's dog-friendly! Both beers we had were delicious. The gin-barrel aged blueberry cream ale was a whooping 9% that had so much flavor and drank so smooth it was dangerous. The Lost Local Lager had depth of flavor but also finished smooth. Loved this place!

Visiting Canmore and wanted to try a local brewery. We have fabulous local breweries in NC so wasn't sure how a Canadian one would compare but it was fantastic. We had our 19 year old daughter with us. She can't drink legally in the States so this was her first trip to a brewery and I'm glad it was such a great experience. The employees were super friendly and let us taste a sample before we made our decisions. I had the Beam Me Up Blonde Ale and daughter had the dry cider. Husband enjoyed his IPA. I saw the bartender bring out some fabulous looking soft pretzels several times so they must serve some food as well. First we sat outside on the deck with a nice view of the mountains but it started to rain so we moved in to a cozier table inside. I wish we'd had the time to stay longer and try more beers, a flight or maybe the bbq food truck parked outside. Definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a good beer in Canmore.

Well, I love trying local breweries so while in Canmore, AB, Canada I had to try Sheepdog Brewing. I had a flight with a light Pilsner to a coconut Porter on the dark side. The only one I didn't like was the West Coast Pilsner due to its bitterness. If you like IPA's you will like this one. It was super busy as it was the Friday before Canada Day! We found a table upstairs with a beautiful view and enjoyed our time immensley!

It is a brewery with patio seating. Wide selection on tap. You cannot go wrong. Mountain views. Friendly staff. No food except for bags of chips. Sours, cider, whitbeers, IPAs, porters, lagers.

Stop by for lunch enjoying the outdoor seating, the view of the mountains and people watching…read more We enjoy their local craft Pilsner, and their Craft Pizza. They uniquely do a 72 hour dough rise for the pizza. Create a very airy and light focaccia style pizza crust. I had the elk sausage and roasted kale pizza. I found the pizza very good, very rich due to the type of cheeses they used ....however I found out...I don't like kale - so I picked it off. Kathy enjoyed the tuna melt, with waffle fries. It was yummy. The server was quick, guided us through some suggestions, and our order was out reasonably quickly. Banff gets busy in the afternoon. We arrive just before the rush at 2 PM. If you're looking for good food and a good beer, three beers brewery is a good choice. Asfoor value a bit on the higher side.... I'd use 3 ($$$) for two of us. Kid, friendly yes, clean bathrooms, good waiter-staff. Three Bears gets a two thumbs up for Banff Canada.

The kale salad was abundant and dressed well with abundant toppings. The pizza was like our server said it would be - greasy in the best way possible. The crust was perfect and the oozing cheese with a hint of honey was fantastic. Great service and bright and open dining area.

Our server was very friendly albeit a bit frazzled, but the vibes were great all around. One of the best things about Banff Ave Brewing is that all appetizers are half off on Fridays (at least during happy hour)! They also have a nice selection of beers. Their flights are neat in that they offer 6 options instead of the more typical 4, so you can try everything you want to try. We had the nachos, poutine, and several beers. The poutine was a bit salty but the nachos were excellent, definitely get the beer cheese sauce as an add-on. I also got to try a special dragonfruit kolsch they had on tap, which was really mild and easy drinking as well. I'll definitely be back when I'm in Banff again!
