Right on Main Street next to the antler arch, we came here last Wed night (mostly an older crowd). It's a small place, so the tables filled up quickly. We got the calamari strips with fries and coleslaw for $17.50 and the coconut shrimp special for $16 with coleslaw, fries, and a drink (comes with 5 shrimp), which didn't take too long to come out. They do charge for a cup of water though. The setting looking outside the window was nice. The shrimp came with a green pepper jelly, which is different than say the piña colada sauce say that Red Lobster's come with, but the sweet and sour grew on me after awhile. Both the calamari strips and fries were thick and tasty. I do think the better deal is to get the fish, which comes with several big pieces. To The other review about the person arriving after 6 pm, our party of 7 arrived at 5:54 and we were welcomed in for our meal. If you're flying a plane to a restaurant anywhere, I'd suggest calling ahead to double check on things.... I don't feel their review is very fair. Anyway, like I said we arrived just in time and it was great. In fact I personally felt they were very accommodating to my family. Like I mentioned in a previous review, we come here every year. I believe I had the halibut. Delicious and fresh as usual. The chips/fries were perfectly crispy. The dispenser was out of ketchup, but honestly these fries didn't need it. I also really enjoy the coleslaw side, it's very refreshing to what could otherwise end up feeling like a heavy meal. I'd recommend this place to anyone and everyone! My family and I stop here every year while we camp in the area. It's always a big highlight and something I'm always looking forward too! The food it DELICIOUS and the fish tastes like they grabbed it straight out of the water. Each "basket" comes with fries and coleslaw that are also perfect. There are a ton of different fish options, I always go with the halibut. My husband got the clam strips this time and they were also pretty good. It's a little steep when it comes to prices, but what do you expect when it's the only place to eat fish in a 100 mile radius (unless of course you channel your inner Cowboy and catch something yourself). Step in and become engulfed in the smell of the sea. The decor makes it seem like you've teleported to a quaint restaurant on the seashore. Order up and pay before you get your food and snag a seat before too many people take it before you. Tartar sauce and ketchup as well as fresh lemons are available for the picking. So load up on the good stuff before you settle in. The waitress will bring you your meal, usually takes a solid 10 minutes. I ordered two fish tacos, delishhh for sure. But they were $10 for 2. My momma ordered the fish and chips basket, that seemed like a better deal for sure. Fries, fried cod, and a side of coleslaw for about $12. Between the two of us, our meal ended up being over $30 (one small fountain drink and a tip). So just brace yourself, this is more of a special occasion outing. My family and I stayed in this small town on our way to Yellowstone. It's a pretty small establishment, but you could see how popular it was. We were luckily able to get a table for four. You put in an order at the front and they're able to find where you're at once you sit. We got different types of fish and chips to try a variety. We got cod, haddock, calamari, and shrimp. I couldn't remember the difference between the cod and haddock but all of it actually pretty good! Even the customers around us were commenting at how well the seafood was fried. I also got a bowl of the clam chowder which was very tasty. Could have used more clams and less potatoes, though. Definitely stop by here for a meal if you can! read more

Okay yum!!! This is such a yummy place. Located right on Main Street of Afton Wyoming. The shrimp bread is delish! The fries are thick and yummy Soup in a bread bowl is one of my favorites!! (I suggest getting the soup on the side so the bread bowl doesn't get soggy... and then you will have extra bread to take home!! Always a win!) This time I tried the fish & chip basket and it is always a fam favorite. I have heard lots of good things about it. The fish was cooked well and I feel like you can't go wrong!! My hubby & I picked up lunch from here. He ordered cod & chips and I got the special-shrimp basket. The shrimp were tasty but there were only 5 medium size shrimp in a container that had room for 3x as many shrimp. Seemed almost like a staff member got hungry and helped him/herself to half my order. Luckily, my hubby got 4 pieces of cod and gave me one of them. The cod was cooked perfectly in a nice batter with yummy tartar sauce. The fries were crispy and not overly salted. The coleslaw was disappointing, soggy flavorless cabbage with too much mayo. Their staff is very friendly and willing to work hard to give the best service possible. Even in a small town, you know a place is good when there's no empty tables available. And even with a wait to order our food, we were still served hot food pretty quickly. We've eaten here a few times in the past and it always satisfies our seafood appetite. Today we tried a crab cake as an appetizer--not the best but not bad. Seafood in Wyoming....say whaaattt!!??? This place is the real deal! I got a shrimp cocktail, bowl of chowder and the fish and chips. Fugetaboutit!!! So good I felt like I was home on the east coast. Second attempt to eat here, first time door was open but they weren't taking orders for 30 minutes. Tonight we ordered fried oysters , Cajun and garlic fries, chicken quesadillas and shrimp tacos. Oysters were undercooked so I ask them to deep fry them and they were still raw when they came back with them. Frys were almost all left over, husband said the tacos were good.
