I can't believe it took me this long to give a super review to Pam and Dallas (and Quincy) for…read morebeing such great hosts for my husband and I! We just got married in NJ 3 days after hurricane Sandy hit the east coast and were worried our honeymoon venue may have also been out of power as our reception venue was. When I got Pam on the phone, she said she had been thinking about ME during the storm and hoped everything was fine. If it wasn't clear by my opening paragraph, my husband and I spent our honeymoon at this B&B, for a more relaxing experience than most honeymoon-goers. We had such a great time! We stayed in the Cottage Cabin and my goodness, it was amazing. There was a fireplace, a heated bathroom floor, a shower with several different shower heads for that spa effect, heated whirlpool tub, and a mini bar. Everything was clean, smelled fresh, and the bed was beyond comfortable. Pam was always bringing us fresh cookies and asking if we would want breakfast served in our room or with them. We alternated days because why not! Pam and Dallas are such great people to talk to. It was a pleasure getting to know them. The breakfasts were delicious and plentiful, with a wide variety of tastes on one plate, never duplicating during the week we stayed. They also offered a good amount of information on things to do during our stay. Quincy, their dog, was a real trip! I wanted to take him home (and I am not very fond of dogs). My husband and I truly felt like royalty while we were staying with Pam and Dallas. On our first night, we wanted to make a bag of microwave popcorn but felt weird asking to use their microwave so late at night, but Dallas hopped right up and popped it for us, even gave us a bowl - no second thought! And my husband wanted to purchase fresh Amish butter... but Pam beat him to it and gave us a good hunk of the batch she bought as a gift. Not to mention a few other gifts we received from them to bless our new marriage. We will absolutely be going back and look forward to it. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous. They really do know and love what they're doing over there. There is so much to do in the area and even more down towards Lancaster that we needed more than a week to hit all the places. Definitely check out Bubes Brewery. We had dinner one night in the Catacombs. The lighting down there is very dim but the menu definitely a bit fancier and worth a visit. I came back to purchase one of the house brews in a growler. We went on the Lancaster ghost tour which was fun, took a buddy ride and had lunch at Plain and Fancy, saw the production of Jonah at Sight and Sound, ate at Shady Maple Smorgasbord (always a favorite), and took note of every other place we'd have to go to. We had a fantastic time and had recommended this place to a friend of mine who stayed in the Cottage around Christmas last year and had an awesome experience.

We gifted my parents a two night stay and they couldn't have been happier. My parents don't do…read moresocial media, but my dad insisted I write a review for them because they loved it so much! I spoke to Pam before they arrived and she was so helpful and I knew they would be in great hands. They said their room was beautiful, clean and spacious and that the breakfasts were wonderful. They said Pam and her husband were the most sweet and welcoming people and they really made the trip wonderful. So grateful that they made my parent's trip so awesome... go visit BF Hiestand House!

So big and spacious for the kids to play. Majority of the staff we came in contact with also very polite and helpful. The beds were so comfortable as well. Also very clean, there were a few noticeable cracks and scrapes in the hallways and room but nothing crazy. Breakfast staff was very helpful and was constantly refilling and cleaning the space. Wished they kept the pork items separate from the non pork products in the hot food section. Always assumed Comfort Suites was a hotel with questionable quality however This place has changed my option completely and will probably be more confident booking at other Comfort franchises.

So don't tell me that "at the time of your stay, no confirmed safety, pest, or sanitation concerns were reported to management or documented on-site". We stayed here for a basketball tournament, and it worked well for what we needed. The rooms were…read moreon the small side, and we had reserved two queen beds with a sofa bed but only got the two queen beds, which made things a little tight for our family. The room was clean-nothing fancy, but acceptable. The real surprise was the pool and hot tub area. It was small, but very clean and well maintained, and the hot tub was a great way to relax after a long day at the gym. The fitness room was basic but clean, and it was much better than trying to run outside. The location is a little odd-it's right next to an RV factory? but it was convenient enough for our tournament. The biggest highlight was definitely the breakfast. It was phenomenal and had one of the best hotel breakfasts we've had. That alone helped make up for the cramped room. Overall, if you're in town for sports or just need a comfortable place to stay, it's a solid choice.

Even if your room is ready, you have to pay an extra $35 to enter your room before 3pm. And if you're 5 minutes for checkout? $50. I've stayed at hotels in dozens of countries around the globe, and this was the most absurd money-grab I've ever seen. The breakfast was ok - the room's carpet was GROSS. The hotel tries to rationalize their policies: But we arrived after 12 noon. They DEMANDED payment from the groom's mother for the wedding attendees. The fact that the extorted money from someone else doesn't change the fact that THEY DEMANDED PAYMENT OF $35 EXTRA FOR THOSE ARRIVING BEFORE 3PM. Second of all, it's pretty clear that their surly staff takes their cues from their manager. I'm sorry that I stayed here - a mistake I will not repeat.

When I arrived at the motel, the desk person said that they had no King rooms available, but he could give me another double room with two double beds next to the first one. I had no choice but to take it as I was 5 hours away from home and was attending a weekend event. We got our belongings into the room and attended the first night of our event. Upon returning, one of the rooms had no hot water for the shower, so they had to be skipped for the night. When we got up in the morning, we had trouble with one of the toilets flushing properly, so the front desk was contacted. The person at the desk didn't bother to go and check in out, he handed me a plunger instead. I wasn't away with the booking of the rooms, that I signed on to be the hotel plumber. The toilet got cleared, but every time it was used the plunger was needed. When we left for our event on the second day, we thought the room trash would at least be taken out, but it wasn't. It is not a place that I would ever recommend staying. The only positive that I found from my stay was that when we first got there, the room was very clean, but that would be the only positive.
