Danielle was extremely knowledgeable, and put us on the right path with regard to our budget, design expectations and really helping us to understand how the entire process works. Right from the beginning, we knew we had reached out to the right company. Then came the build process, in which we were fortunate enough to work with Steve Costa who not only juggled a third-floor walk-up, a building from the late 1800s, but also an extremely pregnant woman who was keen on getting this project off the ground and completed as quickly as possible. Steve led a fantastic group of NKB employees and subcontractors, but I would be remiss to not give a special shoutout to John and Mike who were our dream team carpenters, kitchen décor experts, and mental support during the project. Our dog clearly misses Steve, John and Mike as they became best friends it seems during the project. Additionally, Kelsea from the PMA team was a huge help in keeping the schedule/accounting on track for us. We were THRILLED with the final product (photos attached), and we are so very thankful for all of the hard work of the entire NKB team to bring our dream bathroom to life (before the baby, may I add)! We looked at Norfolk Kitchens, DK&M, and both Home Depot and Lowe's. The latter 2 being the low…read moreball options. Norfolk and DK&M came in within 10% of each other. Surprisingly the low ball option were t so low. We chose DK&M after looking at reviews and remodels they've done. What was essentially a new cabinet project turned into a much bigger job with a wall separating the kitchen and dining area knocked down and a large opening cut in the wall separating the kitchen and living area. We went with a cabinet design from Waypoint that while a standard cabinet are proving to be solid and well manufactured. DK&M (Bill Reed) explained the process and timeline very well and then met the timeline exactly. We replaced the range and microwave as part of the project. Given this was done between January and March 2020 eg COVID time we were surpassingly unaffected by material issues and in fact most vendors were ahead of schedule. They partner with Envy Remodeling and the team Rob sent in was top notch. Very professional, on time , and excellent at their jobs. I did some rough analysis of material and labor costs and based on the hours spent onsite and similar big box store cabinet prices we feel it was a fair project cost. Looking back it was a very smooth process with no drama. We would highly recommend this team for any remodeling job.

I am a homeowner I purchased custom cabinets through my Contractor Kendrick home improvement. I paid for delivery upon delivering the cabinets. The delivery people drop the Cabinet. Then they banged the face of it up, chipping it upon refusing to sign for it and requesting the call the main office they told me my builder, I could fix it and still pay full price. They also ordered the wrong. Base Cabinet and told me that not every kitchen needs a silverware drawer again I called and spoke to the manager who had zero customer skills. Call me a liar and said I was trying to rip them off for a lousy $300 Cabinet the poor Contractor did his very best to argue with this company on my behalf heard this conversation and asked him why are we doing business with such a ridiculous outfit and instead of making it right they took the cabinet that they damaged back to their warehouse on Friday night took some paint and touched up the chips put glue all over the dovetail because the face of it was coming off and shipped it back and said that's the best they could do. Remind you now these are custom cabinets again. I had the poor Contractor call the so-called manager back today and he called the Contractor a liar after I sent them pictures of the damage to the cabinets and that they will not help me any further so the builder, said I am gonna do whatever it takes to make it right for my client and I'm totally fine with it because it's not about the money but I would not recommend this company to build me a birdhouse so if you're in need of kitchen cabinets or flooring stay away from GF kitchen and bath in Quincy mass because they are ripoffs and they have crappy service and all I can say if you're a contractor and you run into this issue, please take care of the customer like my Contractor did there is just so many people trying to rip off the consumer. Really appreciate both Kelard and Yola for their hard work and detail! They would call me all the time with updates on different part/product, delays, which we really needed to hear through the remodeling process. Also, Kelard helped give me advice for a friend of mine in Los Angeles that burnt his marble counter with a hot cooking pan.
