I contacted them on a Monday morning to cancel my account (the free trial expired over the weekend). Customer service gladly "cancelled my account", then charged me *$375* FOR THE MONTH. I thought it must be a mistake and they must have somehow billed me for an annual plan, so I kept emailing them. They provide polite responses while dodging ALL questions about refunds and licenses. Finally after a week of emails, they told me "Thank you for your great questions. The bill you paid is a monthly fee for the subscription, not an annual fee.". That is as close to an answer they ever gave me, and I finally realized they charged me for all 5 users. They will NEVER tell you directly that they won't be refunding you. They are VERY sly - watch out for these guys. It is worth noting that within the application, there is nowhere to cancel your account - not in the profile, members, account, billing, or licenses, sections, so you have to call. Their customer service is slimy. It's an obvious scam after it happens to you, but the product seems legit at first. Avoid these guys at all costs.

They took the time to understand my process and began to help give me some insights I hadn't considered before. We worked on a mock up system to begin searching for a solution. After a few weeks we had some choices in front of us and I have implemented a system based on the work we did. I appreciate the critical thinking they provided as well as their tips which might seem 'simple' but I never thought of my problem from that perspective. They helped me do something that could have taken me over a year to fail by myself and instead I ended up with a workable solution that met our 6 month timeline.

He made our website so much more functional quickly and efficiently and at a great price. With every request to add a new feature Ryan was always there to help. And again he did a fantastic job with the design and implementation of all the features and functions we needed. I would recommend him anytime to anyone whether its a small company with a limited budget or a large company that needed a new site with more functionality. Talented, reliable and professional. Little did I know I was about to embark an an amazing working relationship with a truly great local business. I had a lunch meeting with Ryan and discussed my future plans and hopes for the inner workings of the company. He didn't miss a beat and right away had some great ideas. We made a plan of action, discussed pricing and he got right to work. This company is one of those rare gems that under promises and over delivers. I did not expect the quality of work that was to come nor the ingenious ideas Ryan had along the way. He did what he said he was going to do and then took it a step beyond. Pepck will be the only company I use for all my future web and marketing needs. There's no need to look any further. I'm convinced there is no other company in town that can provide the range of services and quality of work that Ryan offers. He is a magician! We learned a very painful lesson in the importance of needing a reputable, reliable web developer for our company and thankfully White Lion became our White Knight and saved us. Are they a little pricey? Yes, a little, but I have learned that you absolutely get what you pay for in regards to website development. I can honestly tell you it was some of the best money we have spent on our business and took a huge stress load off of our plate once our website was in good hands. Specifically their group was amazing at communication and letting us know when and what they were doing to our site. Communication is key on a project such as a website and they definitely had that together. They were also able to understand our needs, how we wanted out site to function, translate that into code, and come out with a final product that we are very happy with. Our budget was limited and I was impressed with their ability to help us prioritize what was important. Even though we were not able to make all the changes we would have liked, our site is beautiful as well as functional and day to day users won't realize what was left undone. White Lion was able to tie the pieces together for us from a very broken state and I can assure you that when our company has grown enough to go to completion with a few details on the site, we will be knocking on their door once again.

THE GOOD I worked there for a couple of months and the…read moreowners are wonderful, well-meaning people, as are all the employees present while I was working there. Relative to other firms, their base pay is higher than the norm, but their commission is extremely low so your floor is higher, but your ceiling is lower. Whether or not this company is worth your while depends on what kind of recruiter you are on. THE BAD Another review mentioned it: they do have a nepotism problem. One employee specifically is related to the owners and is allowed to demean several others with impunity. Multiple times he took me aside and asked me leading questions about why an employee would do something or otherwise trash talk them to me. This was made known to the owners, but to my knowledge, they took no action. He created a toxic work environment, though it wasn't NEARLY as bad as several other places I've worked. With the exception of this one employee, who likely isn't going anywhere, the company is great and I would highly recommend going there if you think you can put up with his nonsense and recognize his drama for what it is.
