Man, where do I start?…read more I first heard about Speak Social after meeting (via twitter) one of their team members, Rebecca. Talk about a mega sweetheart! As my friendship grew with her, I came to learn more about what she did and the rest of the Speak Social crew. I finally had the chance to meet Brad, Stephanie and Andy at Roll On Sushi's preview opening, and even though it was for a few minutes, I knew that these guys knew what they were doing. Watching them work the event, from interacting with the guests to handling the social media, I really came to admire them. I recently had the honor of attending one of their social media training sessions, and talk about being freakishly thorough! Social media is almost similar to talking about what the meaning of life is, in my opinion. In this training session, they managed to cover the necessities in a laid-back environment, but included a wealth of information for one to take home. If you're someone who has no clue about social media, THIS training course is one you have to sign up for. They lay it all out in simple terms and you leave almost a Pro! I walked in knowing what to do on a personal level, and left with awesome information on what I can do to improve as a blogger AND what I can do for my family's many small businesses. But deep down, I know that no one can do social media for small business as well as Speak Social can. They're just that good. If your business has any social media needs and you simply do not have the time and/or knowledge to handle it all, they are the people you are looking for. And if you're curious as to what they're doing, and want a taste of their "secret sauce for success", they have a training session so you're in-the-know. They don't have any tricks up their sleeves. They're simply passionate, hard-working and truly love what they do. And it's because of these values that your business is bound to flourish in the digital world.

So far, so good - they run a great company. My point man has been James, and the lead developer on the project is Ben. Both of these people have been wonderful, patient, and responsive. Isaac, the CEO, is pleasant to work with and straightforward. The only constructive feedback I have is that work often misses getting completed by the estimated completion dates. That said, they have been generous with allowing multiple rounds of edits and feedback, working hard to make sure my vision comes through. Highly recommended.

From the very beginning, these guys were professional and easy to work with. The sales process was easy - I liked how they setup their packages/pricing. Any time I had a question, they made sure to clearly answer it. Their response time to emails and phone calls could not have been better (most of the time, they were waiting for ME to reply!) When it came to developing the new site, these guys made it a cinch. They offered many options and example sites for me to pick design elements from and also provided feedback and ideas. I wasn't sure what I wanted the site to look like initially, but they quickly had me envisioning the possibilities. Through the design process, James was phenomenal to work with. He was extremely responsive and very detailed with his questions about the site and made sure to tell me what to expect during the process. He was very timely and got things done when he said he would. James read my (sometimes lengthy) emails describing what I wanted, and almost always hit it on the head with the first attempt. At the end of the day, the website does everything we wanted and looks great! James has also helped us since the site went live, after we decided to make a couple changes. Their customer service is excellent. Overall, these guys are great and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a new website. I plan to use them for another site in the very near future. Thanks again guys!

I knew Melissa for a few months before I worked with her, so I already knew she was serious about her business, a hard worker, and extremely quick. Totally on the ball. When I worked with her, it was no different. She created beautiful, functional websites for my clients, and she was always in budget, on time (never, ever missed a deadline and USUALLY beat them!), and always blew me away with her talent. She also created a site for a side business I set up, and she did a fantastic job on it! I firmly believe that her work helped my new venture take off much faster than it would have if I'd had a less-impressive site. Melissa creates super high quality work for a fraction of what an agency would charge, does it quickly, almost always NAILS IT the first time, and becomes a real asset for your business. I never hesitate to recommend her - she is great.

I took a class from the owner of the company and learned how to optimize my profile on LinkedIn to get new clients. Within a week, I jumped from the top quarter-percentile to the top 5% and I've had acual paid clients come from her work with me, not just BS leads that turn into nothing. I REALLY like having the money I spend on marketing come back to me immediately. Traditional marketing is NOT like that, and I've had frustrating experiences spending money on advertising in the past, and not knowing if it even worked, so this was a welcome change. The team is also really hands-on. Their personal attention really sets them apart from other cookie-cutter firms that help with SEO and Social Media. We met twice a week during my training, and I had about a million questions answered. It was super helpful. I have friends who have worked with bigger social media marketing firms in Austin (not naming any names, haha, but I'm sure you can figure it out) and they get passed off to a young clueless intern immediately after they sign the dotted line. I really like how I work with the same person every time, email her, text her, etc. I'm a night owl and so is she. ;) I just signed on with her to manage all my social media content marketing (we're doing Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and Instagram) so I'll update this review with my experiences on that end when I'm further along as a client. They also have beer on tap in their office, so that's a plus! ;) They're great!!
