When I walked in, I was blown away. They have a store, with unique products and what appears to be high-quality products. I love their locker room/restrooms, which are clean. I liked their studios, where it is dark and perfect for when you are sweating, and dancing on the bikes and don't want to be seen. They had balloons for Kylie and a bottle of champagne waiting for her and her group of gals and it was so personalized and absolutely wonderful. On her bike in the spin room, was an engagement ring balloon as well. It was such a fun ride and the songs were catered to Kylie and what she enjoys in the classes she attends. You could tell the two owners, who were there and running the bride ride, were genuinely excited and put a lot of thought into the event. One of the songs included weights, which I really enjoyed. I enjoyed this event and the studio so much, even though it sort of broke me. It broke me because when I went to sleep, I almost had to slather mentholatum all over my body to be able to sleep, as I was so sore. I will definitely be back. I liked the vibes in this place and how much the owners actually care.

I normally just smile and…read morebrush it off with an, "Oh you", but my secret is daily sleeves of Oreo cookies and Ritz crackers with lots of canned Cheez Whiz layered up generously on top (dedication). In an effort to balance out my ridiculous life choices with my desire to live to be 150, and continue to make such bad choices, I joined the Harborside CrossFit gym. As with most CrossFit gyms, the monthly price is steep at $150 (there are some discounts offered, such as for students, emergency responders, etc.). CrossFit, of course, is a name brand and it costs big bucks for name brands (I'm talking about you Q-Tips, Rollerblades). A lot of other gyms not affiliated with the vaunted CrossFit brand can get you in and sweaty for a lot less money, however, these other gyms aren't the same caliber as Harborside CrossFit. The kicker with this gym are the coaches. There are extraordinary coaches at this gym, specifically Jeff and Lindsay, whom I've spent the bulk of my time with. In addition to the fantastic tutelage they provide, they also act as personal trainers & nutritionalists, which would likely cost a lot more than $150 a month. Aside from being a workout savant whose opinions you trust because he obviously knows what he's talking about, Jeff flaunts a natural-born teaching instinct, and manner of delivering knowledge to his pupils uncanny to most, I suspect, in his field. He could put on a clinic for "How to field dress a three-day-old road killed skunk for consumption", and somehow he'd fill that class up with eager learners willing to put skunk on the menu, unbeknownst to their mouths, stomachs and colons, which would all be angry with them when they found out. And then there's Lindsay.... Her abilities far exceed the normal expectations of the human body. Not to mention, she NEVER eats Ritz crackers coated in cheese (I know, right?!) In fact, I'm convinced she's some kind of superhuman being, sent to our planet to gets us all into shape and/or save our very existence --as long as no one pelts her with kryptonite, of course-- and she does so with the coolest demeanor. She makes you realize just how selfish of a son-of-a-B that Clark Kent was, writing fake news and chasing tail at the Dailey Planet like a jerk. I can't guarantee you that you'll find the classes at Harborside CrossFit well suited for you, at least not at first. However, that's the whole point if you truly want to improve yourself and your fitness. Put yourself outside of your comfort zone, put the ice cream sandwiches down and slowly back away... then burpee yourself until you vomit (dedication).

I was continously charged even after my bank investigated it for fraud and refunded me. He runs the charge under a slightly different companies name. Man's a low life and a criminal. All his trainer did was bash him as a scumbag, I should've been out after hearing that once. Place needs to be closed and the owner arrested.

The cost was 379.00 per month . The receipt that I have says "90 Day Kickstarter". There is no doubt that I signed up for a 90 day program. The first charge the owner puts through on October 20th is for $779.00 which is not what I budgeted for. The owner made up some b.s. about prorating. Sounds a lot more to me like he has a cash flow problem because he is billing me for almost 2 full months. And, he was autatically extending my 3 month membership to 4 billable months because I didn't start my membership on his billing date?? Btw, there was also a promotion for a FREE TWO WEEK TRIAL which I never got credit for in his zany prorating and creative billing scheme. His irrational billing, which he justifies in his own mind, always results in dollars in his favor. But, hang on it gets worse. As of today, February 2018, 5 months later, the owner, Giovanni Preziuso, refuses to stop charging my account for $379.00 per month, although we are WELL past my 90 day program. He further insists that I have to pay until May, 2018!! I am not kidding. I assumed the charges were made in error and that he would correct the problem when he was made aware of it. I was very, very wrong. This billing is quite intentional. The owner's business practices are unethical and I predict that this will eventually ruin his reputation and destroy his business. I am taking my documentation into the branch today and having my bank rever se the charges. If he wants to persue this, we can take it all the way to court. At first I was dumbfounded. But, now I am pretty angry. The gym itself is quite nice and the other trainers are very professional. However, the billing practices are highly suspect. Buyer beware.
