The CC branch staff were friendly and they mostly did what they needed to...eventually. But the Ashmont branch has much more competent staff. Eastern Bank is one of the few local banks you have to choose from in Boston, and you should. If you're still putting your money in Bank of America or Citizens you are either a FOOL or a greedy capitalism who doesn't care if your money is improving your community and the world. If it's the former, go ahead and make the switch. If it's the latter, carry on. I just probably don't want to know you personally.

On two separate occasions, this bank lost money orders that our church deposited from a vendor. These were not errors on our end--the issue occurred during the bank's handling of the deposits. Regardless of the cause, customers should not be held financially responsible for internal processing failures. As a church, we require a financial institution that processes deposits accurately and takes responsibility when errors occur. Based on these repeated incidents, we have remove our personal funds and moved our church accounts to a more reliable and accountable bank. But then I came to the consensus when my life started getting increasingly busy and the time I had to go to the bank was minimal. Sure, there was (and still is) a Sovereign/Santander in my own town rather than driving out of town, however banking at my normal supermarket was much more ideal. This Citizens Bank location sits inside the Walpole Super Stop&Shop along Route 1A in Walpole. There is a Citizens Bank in almost every single Stop&Shop, which also contributed to my decision of switching to Citizens (as my favorite supermarket, that I shop the most frequently is Stop&Shop). It's open much later than most other bank chains in the area. Monday through Friday they are open 10am-7pm, Saturday 10am-5pm, and Sunday 10am-3pm. The regular team of guys who work here are always happy, energetic and always joking around. Huge bin of lollipops, barely ever a line, and great policies and benefits (especially in comparison to Sovereign / Santander!) 5 stars for this Citizens Bank!

I was at the bank making a deposit. I asked the teller if she would order checks for me on the same account, which she did. I got the check order and was a little annoyed that the checks started with 101 but whatever. I didn't look at the account number, which I should have but didn't. We have two checking accounts one of which we don't use that had a 0 dollar balance. She had ordered the checks on this account by mistake. We didn't catch the error until we had racked up $140.00 in fees(including the cost of the checks). I called customer service and they sent me to the branch. Got to the branch where I was told it was my fault, but they would look into it. They didn't even waive the check fee when they ordered the checks on the correct account. I never heard back and have since switched banks.

This is a very good Bank of America branch. I've sat down…read morewith their customer service representatives and they have helped me with questions that I had about some of the accounts that I have. They have also helped me open new accounts and made the process very easy every time. They always take the time to listen and they provide clear answers to all of my questions. They always have great advice regarding accounts. The bank tellers that work there are quite pleasant and there are usually at least two tellers working so if you are there to do something such as cash a check you'll be able to get in and out pretty fast. There are two ATM machines inside this branch just as you walk through the front door and they also have one drive thru ATM outside the bank towards the end of the parking lot. They also have a drive thru teller here if you prefer not to have to get out of the car to do a transaction with a teller. Definitely one of the best locations I've seen yet as far as customer service goes.
