When I'm in Broke-Town for business or what have you, I bank here. I'm able to make deposits and fee-less withdrawals for an out-of-state account at CCU's ATM because they are a member of the Co-Op network (www.co-opfs.org). That makes them cool in my book. Location is a little awkward being right at an intersection and the parking lot is a little snug but they do have a drive up ATM. read more

This place is a joke. The bank is closed to the public they only have drive through open. I get it covid is happening and people are nervous. Maybe if you only Want to have drive up open you schedule more then ONE PERSON on shift. Been waiting inline for 24 minutes with 8 cars ahead of me and we have only moved ONCE. I've called customer service who told me There is a branch that is open but they don't know if you can just walk in so she transferred me to them. I've now called FOUR times and nobody has answered so I left a voicemail. Maybe try to pretend you actually give a shit about your customers. Also- when I first pulled in before I knew that this was drive up only a woman asked for my help because the atm ate her card. I banged on the door to get somebody's attention to help her and a young lady walked over mouthed "go to the drive up" and walked away. Awesome customer service- great job teaching your workers how to be pleasant to the public. I will Be taking my money out of this account and going somewhere else that the bank workers actually give a shit about you and don't make you wait in a line for an HOUR to talk to someone. read more

I have never written a review, I have never yelled at a customer service agent, I have never written a customer service email (also including swears) until I went to the crescent credit union. This is the worst bank in the history of banks and every single person i have spoken with at this bank has been unkind, unhelpful, and just all around terrbile. I would pay double interest rates on my car loans just to never have to deal with them again. Depending on who you talk to you get a completely different answer. Do yourself a favor and find another bank, its not worth the headache or aggrivation. read more

This is by far the worst business I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. Never get a loan with them. Every month when you try to make a payment their on line payment center malfunctions and doesn't take the payment and suggests you mail it in. Are you kidding? It is so archaic and the customer service people haven't a clue. They are not technically savvy and their site needs IT help. I am surprised they haven't closed yet. Beware of this institution and go to a better, real bank. read more

I honestly had the worst experience with this bank. I never want to work with Sandy again. I needed help with questions on a repo. She just kept asking me where the car was and honestly she was being rude the whole time. If Sandy doesn't like her job she should leave. I HATE HER. All I wanted to know is where do I drop off the car and she wouldn't answer the consumers questions. She was very rude about my situation. I am 1 month behind and shes ready to move forward. Told her to find the car and figure it out since shes such a terrible collector. Lots of love, Tori Smyth read more

I wish i could give 0 star! I went to a dealership to get a car and need it to be financed. they said they work with crescent credit union. they took all the paperwork and later called saying that the ssn is for work only. I told them thats the only ssn i have when I moved in the US five years ago. Then come out the pb of the green card. They said they dont know if i'm going to be here in the next five years. I had to speak to the loan officer Gary, explaining that i also work in the bank and i know the process. he said ok send what you have and you should be good. so i emailed everything i have include the application for citizenship. the car dealership called me 2 days later saying i'm all set. so I got the insurance, went back there to sign all the paper, but the day after when i'm supposed to get the car I just called to confirm that the car is ok because I live in boston and i don't want to get my friend to drive me to brockton for nothing. they said the credit union denied the loan!!! Angry, I went to Jeep on monday with the same documentation i have, the next day, i picked up a more expensive car! no hassle. I will do business with them when I have my citizenship...just kidding read more

Extremely rude customer service in car loan dept! Never do business with them.

The Worst! Wanted to apply for a personal loan after being a customer for several years...NO ONLINE application process. My credit scores are both near 800, but bank officer kept telling me they were 600!! Had to get Credit Karma on cell to prove she was wrong!! Closing my account here. read more

So thankful that the poor customer service and behavior of the staff allowed me to help my young adult daughter open a new savings account at Harbor-One Credit Union today! read more

I have had very few issues with this bank. The branch managers and their assistants have always been helpful and friendly. Sometimes I find it best to contact the main location on Belmont St. I find the staff are a bit more informed than other personnel from other locations. Their online mechanisms have come a LONG way from the original days. I can now bill pay with ease, and they have a mobile app. They have AMAZING hours and even when the lines are long, it's no where near as frustrating than it was when I was a member with BOA (BankofAmerica). So, yes, kudos to you Crescent for being a very good credit union. read more

OH MY GOD. I called for help making an online payment and was told that this bank DOES NOT HAVE AN ONLINE BANKING OPTION for making payments, but that they're "working on it". Just to recap: In the year 2015, there is still a bank that does not have a website capable of taking online payments. And you can only make a phone payment during normal business hours (M-F 9-5). read more

I am disgusted with the customer service from this company On multiple occasions. I would never recommend this company to anyone. I placed a customer service agent on hold for less than 10 seconds only to return to agent talking to another agent in background about me calling them and placing them on hold. She was using non favorable words. My loan has been a nightmare from day one with this place so i paid it off to never have to deal with them again. Do yourself a favor and choose one of the many other companies out there. read more

I had this bank for checking primarily and saving from time to time for 16 plus years. I didn't realize how much all the fees added up to in the course of a year. My breaking point with this bank is the fact that I came in to close my checking with a zero balance, months later I find that an old bill had posted to this old account. I found this out when I was trying to open a new savings elsewhere. The bill was 80 dollars and I was also charged 64 dollars in FEES! Since I closed the account months before this should have never posted to a CLOSED account and SECOND the place would not discard the FEES! Being a customer for that long it was a real kick in the ass on the way out. The staff is great but the way of banking has seriously changed. This place is a dinosaur in that respect and takes much more out of your pocket than a trusted bank should. Very unhappy they haven't pulled out of the 1990's . The online services are a joke. They are light years away from a descent app. I suppose the best thing they have in there is the stupid change counter machine and the "free" coffee they give but your FEES are covering that bullshit. If your from this place and you have read this far I hope it goes straight up your ass because I'm getting my $64 dollars worth! read more

I have banked with this institution for nearly 10 years. When I carried large balances in my business and personal accounts, they wanted my business and would go out of the way to keep me there. I have since sold the businesses due to a difficult divorce. The operations team has been extremely difficult and outright deceitful. I have found them to actually manually change and manipulate day to day statements to maximize fees! When you catch them in the act and question this, they will give you sone of the fees back. This is completely wrong. If you are not on top of your accounts daily you will indeed be robbed of your hard earned money little by little. I have proven this to the branch management team looking for some answers and the answer I get is "I don't know what to tell you, I have no idea." This has been more than once. I began to close out all of my accounts ( 6 of them) and after the first 2 closings, things got worse. I received extremely poor service with all aspects or banking with the remaining accounts as well as major statement tampering. A reasonable and accurate example is closing an account, withdrawal of remaining balance, received a slip stating account closed. The next morning the account was back open and on my online banking portal with a balance. I went into the branch and asked how this is possible and the answer was "I have no idea."( Branch manager!! )Yet there were two ferther statement adjustments made that day to that account by operations resulting in a fee that was later credited after my branch visit and then the account disappears from my portal. How convenient. There are several seriously concerning issues I would share but I think the point was made here with these few. You are just a number and revenue stream to this bank. Loyalty means nothing to them! I will quote the manager here, "fee income is great income!" On that note I'm out! read more

HORRIBLE- DO NOT WORK WITH THEM I have a car payment through them, and I had explained I am getting separated, abruptly, and have been hacked, my mail tampered with by him, all impacting my personal finances. I am trying to catch up in a one month period. My payment is not even a month late yet. I told them of the hardship and asked if I can work something out with them, on the next day I get paid (10 days). She was rude to me, and told me that the date I can pay is 3 days after the 30 days mark and It will go on my credit regardless. I asked to set up a payment for that date, trying to be proactive, so I do not forget, considering what is happening in my life. She said she could not. She told me she could write me an email today, and on that day I could go back to the email and pay it. how condescending. They have been earning interest off my loan for my luxury vehicle, and in my efforts to correct a bad situation, I am insulted and made to feel ashamed. The irony here is I make an excellent salary, for a world wide pharmaceutical company. I just needed some assistance for this short period of time, due to my life being cut in half without warning. I am doing the best I can but apparently Crescent Credit Union does not honor their claim to customer service, loyalty, or basic human respect. read more
