I have had nothing but great experiences with all the staff in the East Sandwich location as well as the old South Sandwich location. This week I had a need for a home equipment issue and Josh in the East Sandwich branch helped me through it with his knowledge and experience. He took the time to guide me through the complete process, out in touch with the right people and we had our issue resolved quickly and professionally. Josh had to take a day away from the office but made sure Lauren knew what needed to be done. She called me the next morning to let me know everything was in place and again, we resolved my issues. They really care about the customer at this branch. I want to say thank you to all of them and I hope anyone that reads this considers Eastern Bank for their personal and business needs.

i get checks from a person that has an account at citizens , i dont have an account at citizens …read more Everytime i cash a check at citizens i get the third degree about opening an account , i politly say no but they keep on pushing it , then they have the audacityto ask what bank i do use and i say that is private info . lately when i go in ( and i use several different branches) it seems that if you dont have an account you get payed in 10's and 20's rather than big bills , another ploy to have you open an account ! What they dont seem to understand is i would never open an account at a bank that is going to ask a lot of questions or inconvenience a person i write a check to and pressur them to open an account . Not all but most of the branches behave this way and if they want my business that has to change .

Then they started sending payments back from my online banking, AND charged me to return them because my account was in the negative. At the branch no one could help and on the phone they told me they took the money back because my check was blurry. A check I deposited 3 weeks ago! I asked, "What do I do with a negative balance until then?" The man on the phone at Citizens had no answer. I asked, "Why didn't anyone warm me that you were taking money from my account?" Again, no answer. Closing my account. Very very bad business.
