My fiancé and I had an appointment scheduled with Kellee for a tour this morning at 10 AM. It took us just over an hour to get to Rockfield Manor. When we arrived at the appointed time, no one was there and the door was locked. We waited in the parking lot for 45 minutes. During this time I called the Manor, the woman who answered was kind but apparently not associated with or employed by Rockfield Manor itself in any way. She said she just takes messages and makes appointments. Not very helpful. I also emailed Kellee with no response. We decided to explore the town and wait for Kellee to email/call/contact us. Finally, at 12:30 we gave up and left the area. At this point I sent Kellee one last email saying that we were leaving and would no longer be considering Rockfield Manor as an option. I received an email from Kellee about a half hour later saying she had tried to send me an email that morning to confirm our appointment but because her phone was broken it failed to send. And because I did not confirm with her failed to send email I guess she decided to just not show up? She did apologize but it seemed cold and not meant whatsoever. Definitely a very frustrating day. I would not recommend Rockfield Manor to anyone as they are clearly poorly managed. I am happy we have decided to go with a different venue. read more

Let's get this party started right. .Wine party that is. Where there is wine. That's where you can find me. I was here for the 10th annual Harford county wine festival. This was my first time attending this event. We had VIP couple tickets. The VIP area was held in the Manor which l must say is a beautiful place. They had numerous area's set up where you could have wine tasting. They gave you a very large wine glass and tickets for the tasting. They also had all types of appetizers included in the VIP area which included mini hamburgers. Veggie trays,fried oysters, and many more goodies to eat. The majority of the wines were a little on the drier side than what l'm use to but it was durable. Now the Manor itself is a beautiful place with two separate restrooms. Unisex that is which was pleasantly clean which I admire. Also from what I gather you can have weddings at this location as well. So the 3 stars is not for the Manor or the setup of the VIP but the way they had it set up if you wanted to purchase bottles to take home. You actually couldn't do that which l thought was quite odd since that's what we would normally do. Other than that l really enjoyed the festival and l actually purchased two pair of cute earrings. . I got married in may of 2012 here and it was beautiful! Today I will be going back for a friend's wedding and I am so excited. They updated ALOT since my wedding and I'm so excited to see it!!!!! The only reason I'm giving this place a 4 is because when it was my wedding we set up at rehearsal so that everything was done the day of the wedding. My fiend who is getting married there today was told she couldn't set up lastnight at rehearsal and the woman who manages the house hasn't been returning her calls. No matter how needy a bride is. If you are operating a wedding venue you return their calls. So they have changed ALOT. Everything is still as beautiful as it was in 2012. My only complaint is that my heels kept sinking into the grout in the middle of the stones outback. That needs to be addressed because if I would have fallen no one would have been happy. No excuse except for poor maintenance on their part. read more

I just got married here on Saturday and let me tell you - Rockfield Manor is AMAZING. The venue is stunning, but the staff is even better. Kellee, the manager, was there to do whatever I needed. She was flexible, accommodating, friendly, and enthusiastic from start to finish. Keep in mind that this venue isn't meant for large weddings. We were cozy with just 105 people. My guests couldn't stop talking about this wedding and how beautiful the venue was. I highly recommend Rockfield and their staff!! read more

My husband and I had appointed Rockfield Manor as the venue for our wedding.I had catered there before so I was convinced it was going to be flawless and not problematic. However it didn't turn out that way. Not only is the price ($1800) a far stretch for the six hours that they give you to set up execute and tear down your event - especially for a wedding that is ridiculous, but they didn't even want to negotiate when we asked them to come in even an hour earlier. Our ceremony was at six and they allowed us to set up starting at 4. Needless to say there was a terrible rush and stress but also at the end of the night, around 1030, before the appointed ending time which was 11, the supervisor who was on shift that night was already standing on the side tapping her foot and asking me, the bride, whether we will be done in time. That was not the best move and even though we enjoyed our guests, the occasion and the party we had created, it ended so abruptly and there was always a bit of a bitter feeling because of how rushed we were. To be honest, I wouldn't recommend them to anyone planning for a wedding venue. Our DJ was also scolded over the fact that he was simply playing music which was apparently too loud, there were a lot of restrictions that really limited what we could do. As beautiful as the place may seem, I would not pick it For such an occasion. read more

My wedding was a dream come true! I knew as soon as I saw Rockfield I wouldn't find this type of venue for this price again. I didn't book right away and Fall was almost completely booked once I went back to book! Kellee was extremely helpful and communicated the days available. She let me know when the last Saturday was about to be taken and I was able to book! I'm very thankful for the work between Kellee & Sheree at Liberatore's. If you are a high stress person, I would consider a day of coordinator-it is A LOT of work. If you want to enjoy your day and not stress-get a coordinator!!! We didn't have one, and it was a little hectic before the ceremony, but my vendors were amazing. The venue is gorgeous. It was a perfect Garden style wedding. We had 120 guests on a pretty day. 3 tables had to be moved after dinner to make room for dancing but it worked out fine. We had high top tables and put the chairs around the outside. It was a little tight around the tables for dinner, so if anything I would say to keep your guest list to 100, but I wouldn't take anything back! Our day was perfect. read more

My daughter was married last Saturday (07/20/19) at Rockfield Manor. I would love to rate it higher as it was a beautiful wedding ceremony and reception. However, if you're getting married in the summer and want air conditioning you should think twice before booking here. I would estimate that it was about 90 degrees in the "air conditioned" tented area and this was in the evening. I asked one of the employees to check on the air conditioning since it was so hot and she said "I asked Kellee and she said it was working but couldn't keep up with the heat". My feeling is if they're charging to rent the space they should have adequate cooling. My father (the brides grandfather) had to leave after the best man gave his speech because of the heat. I have had the pleasure of being both a vendor and a client of the beautiful Rockfield Manor! I have always had a wonderful experience and have heard nothing but compliments from my guests and clients. Last weekend I attended the Harford County Wine Festival and can not say enough about it! My husband and I purchased VIP tickets which included access to the Manor House for food and wine provided by Pairings Bistro. This ticket was worth every penny and then some! Rockfield Manor is an absolutely gorgeous place to get married. Everything about the location is stunning. The manor, the patio, the gardens, the barn. Everything! We got married on June 22 in the barn and then had our reception in the manor/patio and we would honestly not change a single thing! All of our guests keep talking about how beautiful and perfect everything was. Kellee was equally as great to work with. She was amazingly responsive to endless questions for 2 months, provided great suggestions, was attentive to our layout ideas for the manor to remind us on wedding day when we were running around like crazy, and is truly just the most down to earth, honest, understanding, reasonable, and easiest person to work with. Rockfield is a "do it yourself" type place, but having someone like Kellee on your side makes it easier. Rockfield couldn't have a better person representing them. We cannot say enough good words about Rockfield and Kellee. We've even already talked about having a baby shower here :) read more
