The Rockfab owner/project manager's response is focused on attacking thencustomer instead of addressing the deficiencies within the organization. We are either very naive or have been very lucky in working with contractors on numerous previous projects. We were shocked by the treatment by Rockfab and see more of the same in the overall response by the owner who continues to demonstrate unprofessional conduct. The response is just an attack and does not address the issues. There issues are: - The apparent lack of manage control over the sales person allowing significantly over ordering materials. Question is also whether the materials order impacted the labor cost? (The overage for the tiles for instance was 27% and 48% respectively for the large tiles and the border tiles.) - The apparent lack of quality control of checking materials before sending to the client site. - The lack of proactive client management to resolve issues before the problems occur. The apparent lack of project management is demonstrated by: - Project manager/owner not onsite before the project start to address expectations. - The project manager was not onsite at any time during the critical dismantling stage. - The Dismantling team was not briefed on details of the dismantling. - The Dismantling team seemly not experienced with moving appliances and damaged the powder room wall. - The Installation team did not have knowledge of the requirements. The requirements were somewhat complex and explained in detail during the many meetings and thru client developed drawings with the sales person. The two main Impacts on the complexity were the consistent border and the mitre cuts for intersections of the border. - The Project Manager was only on site briefly once during the entire process. He has not seen the final result. - There was no customer acceptance process with the Project Manager reviewing the completed project with the client against the expectations. The client management process was significantly flawed. Expectations were not managed and ultimately the company ownership used the contract as the client management tool. When mistakes were made by the various teams, there was no one who said to the client, "How can we fix this?". Having to argue over the excess materials and not being offered a refund, especially for materials not even sent to the site was truly ridiculous. As noted previously, the owner/project manager was on site once and has not seen the finished product. The results certainly are not "beautiful". We are so disappointed in the results. Exiting the relationship with Rockfab seemed to be the only solution since the owner is unable or unwilling to address the problems. Several specific items have been mentioned and the attached pictures give real facts to fit the situation. - Installation was delayed 5 days given that there was no check of the materials before sending to the site. As noted, new materials were ordered and not delivered for 5 days after dismantling. The result was the unnecessary living environment, including lots of dust throughout the house. - The wall of the powder room was damaged by the dismantling team. 2 lag bolts were pulled thru the wall instead of being unscrewed and removed causing the damage. This is likely the "$1000 plumping" previously mentioned. This work was in fact repairs to damage created by the Rockfab dismantling team. - The quality of the final installation was disappointing and there has been no inspection by the Rockfab project manager. Several pictures show the border that was to be consistent at appropriately 3.5 inches. In reality the border fluctuates between 3 and 11 inches. No one would praise as "beautiful" after viewing the sloppy results. - The materials list shows the original order and also what remained. We previously saved 1 box of each type of tile (to repair future damage) so excess was 12 boxes of the 16x16 and 5 boxes of the border tiles. Therefore, the overage was 27% of the large tiles and 48% of the border tiles, respectively. There was no installation of the "Schulter" and this material never arrived onsite.

Let me first say that the product I received met expectations. The customer service, however, did not.

I would like to specifically thank Bobby for the consultation, Walt and Terry for the installation. I will say as far as prices you are looking on the higher end, but it is well worth it for the great quality of materials and the excellent skills of the installation team. We are so happy and excited for our new shower upgrades. I highly recommend this company and you are welcome to use my name as a referral. I also really appreciated the card sent and kit given after installation, that added a very personalized experience. Both Walt and Terry were so good, I cannot say enough great things about either. But wanted to give Walt a special shout out, he is a very hard worker and extremely personable. Terry, Is Just as cool - just had more interaction with Walt. A huge thank you to all staff at Rebath:)

I was initially impressed by the promise of a full bathroom remodel in just three days. In…read morehindsight, I should have asked myself whether I wanted the job done quickly or done correctly. Buyer beware. I believe we had to wait approximately three to four months for our installation after the initial consultation. And, as with most projects like this one, half of the payment is requested up front. From the time we ordered our products to the anticipated project schedule date, we heard nothing from Re-bath. I finally called to find out when we would be scheduled for our install, and they were able to add us to the calendar. Our installer, Steve, was courteous, professional, and respectful. He made us feel comfortable having him in our home. He was alone when most of their technicians have arrived in pairs. Unfortunately, most of our experience has been deeply disappointing. Their salesman made multiple false statements. He told us the tub would be non-slick. That's not true. He said a safety handle would be installed to grab when stepping inside. That wasn't true. He said our exhaust fan would have a sensor and automatically run when moisture was present. That definitely isn't true either. The siding for the shower did not look like what I thought I had picked out from the salesman's computer or his small samples. It was blue. I definitely don't recall choosing blue. It doesn't match the color of my bathroom. Either my order was not correct, or perhaps their samples are not large enough to give me a true representation of the final look. One of the biggest problems is the tub creaks loudly. Whoever takes the first shower of the morning wakes up everyone else in the house. Multiple service visits have not completely fixed the problem. There have been additional issues. Our exhaust fan drips. The tub spout has a stream during showers. The knob from the shower diverter came off. The floor cracks in one spot where there is a dip. One baseboard original to the house 30 years ago was missed and still hasn't been replaced despite the many opportunities during visits by technicians for the tub. In the months since July, Re-bath has been to our home multiple times to work on the tub. I have asked if we need a mortar bed, but they don't do those, and they do not feel support is the issue. Their last visit was Wednesday. It was a terrible service experience. I was told they were coming to completely take out the tub to find the creak and to work on the other issues. My husband arranged to be home to let the technicians in, then he left. He said they seemed frustrated with the work order because they didn't hear the creak when they stepped into the tub. That was unexpected, because it creaks with every shower we take, but I also didn't understand why they were diagnosing the creak instead of starting on the work. The creak isn't new. They've heard the sound before, and we had a plan in place (their plan). Long story short, they apparently left not long after my husband without doing any work at all. They didn't notify me when they left or to tell me they were not going to work on any of our issues. I came home late that evening to find an empty house with my doors standing wide open and no one home. A new service manager did call me concerning the poor service experience with an apology. He blamed everything on miscommunication. He expressed concern that removing the tub (their plan) may unintentionally make the creaking worse again. So...okay then, thank you for your honesty. Needless to say, that ends my trust with Re-bath. After months of rearranged schedules and unfulfilled promises, I feel like I need to hire another contractor to correct the issues. That will be another expense on top of this $16,000 remodel. Did I mention the tub feels like a rock when you sit in it? It has a higher back then slopes down, giving a hump. I didn't know that would be the case when we purchased it. It's not comfortable for those who want a good soak in my humble opinion. I can't recommend Re-bath for a tub. Maybe they do beautiful showers. And I wouldn't leave them alone at your house. Good luck.
