Everyone, from Nathan (project estimator and manager) to Isaiah (worksite supervisor) and his work crew, Jose and Aikeem, has worked diligently to identify and rectify a variety of foundation and crawlspace issues common to houses as old as ours (70+ yrs). Our house, having been built and modified in stages, over the course of all those years, presented some unique and complex challenges. Each member of the team assigned to our project consistently demonstrated the knowledge and skills required to address all of these hurdles. They identified the relevant problems, developed a plan to address them, and completed the project in the time they had allotted to do so. Throughout the process, from assessment and cost estimation, through to the completion of the project, we found every member of our JES team to be extremely hard working and attentive to our input, as well as eager to answer our questions and address particular concerns along the way. In short, the entire team, including support personnel at the regional office (Summer), was a pleasure to work with and turned what could have been an extremely stressful endeavor into a surprisingly pleasurable experience. As a result of their hard work, as well as consistent communication with us and a readily apparent sense of pride in the work that they do, we feel they have helped us to increase the comfort of our home and add both longevity and value to our house.

I was told it would be a two day job, but it turned out that it required six visits over a one-month period to complete the work. They never made me feel as if my job was important or a priority, and it got to the point where I had to call and write multiple times before they finally found the time to complete the job. The work itself is okay, although much of what was initially done had to be re-done because the county home inspector explained to me that they weren't following proper building codes. It took three separate inspections before he approved the foundation for the support jacks. The only bright spot during this process was Jameel. He's got a good personality and seems to care about the quality of his work, so I think the problem lies with the various work crews under him. Were it not for his courtesy and positive attitude, this would be a one-star review. Bottom line: If you go with Ram Jack, expect delays in getting your work completed and talk to your city / county inspector about the work to make sure it is done properly. Insist Jameel oversee the project to ensure some level of professionalism. You can save money with Ram Jack as they are significantly less expensive than JES, but you get what you pay for.
