    Ranch flavored cotton candy

One of the best candy stores ever. Sometimes it a walk down memory lane seeing candies i havent seen since i was a kid. Sometimes its just amazing just to see some of the weird stuff they carry. I could stay in this place just looking at all the stuff they have in here. Its almost like a candy museum but you get to eat it all and touch everything. Id say if you are ever near a store take the time and at least check it out, you wont regret it. Prepare your wallet though, this stuff aint cheap at all.

Foreign and hard to find candies sold here!

Have you ever wanted to be "a(n) (adult) kid in a candy store"? Feeling nostalgic? Head on over to Rocket Fizz! This place sells candy and soda pop. It is located in Westwood Village near the UCLA campus. They have so many varieties of goodies here! You can get the popular, more common and available choices like M&M's, Jelly Beans, or Sour Patch Kids. They also have candies that were popular in years-gone-by like Clark Bar and Sugar Daddy and Ring Pops! My favorite candies to browse are the hard-to-find international candies from all over the world. Japanese flavored green tea Kit Kat anyone? How about some mochi? The sodas are actually served in glass bottles which is super cool!! They have really interesting flavors available like Cotton Candy and Red Velvet Cupcake Cookie Dough and Flying Cauldron Butter Beer (for all you Harry Potter fans!). My fave part of the store are the retro-looking funny posters on the wall. It makes the experience even more entertaining. This is a fun place to take your out of town guests if you are already in Westwood and want to treat them to something fun and unique! 10% off when you check in on Yelp.

This the last remaining Rocket Fizz candy store. Bought myself a soda for good Ole times.

I'm glad I discovered this place!!! It's so tempting, so wrong, so right... I'm glad they survived COVID, quite a selection of confectionery from all over the world. I am a European snob when it comes to chocolate/candy. This place has good Dutch licorice and Belgian/German chocolate. Kit Kat collection was cute too :) Ate them all. Pay attention to the expiration dates. Though staff is very caring, they change the product when you ask for it.

You will travel in the time in this store. My husband and I bought two sodas to try and we didn't think it was too sweet. I love the posters there!

This candy and soda pop store. They sell all kinds of soda from various parts of the globe along with candy from parts I never even seen. If you are looking for quality authentic british chocolates, look no further. I spent years trying to find them when they were here all along. They even sell chocolates from my all time favorite brand called "Kinder." They are from the same company that makes ferrero rochers so if you like those, then you will definately like this delicious brand. The only downsides is that the candy is on the pricy side and i would also reccomend double checking the expiration dates. I once bought a mexican candy that expired a year ago.... (it was only $1.00 so its ok). Overall if you are visiting westwood, you should definately come in and take a look around. You will most likely end up buying something.

This is a fun place to visit if you're in the area and want to check out a place with retro candy and merchandise. There are throw back candies as well as international candies, which I love. They also sell tin signs, metal lunch boxes, and other fun/quirky items that would be great as part of a gift. I purchased their taffy, which was okay. They have a bunch of flavors to select from, which I enjoyed. However, some of their taffy were fresher than others. As far as customer service, I would give them a 3/5. At one point, I was the only person in the store and the woman behind the desk was on a social phone call and did not greet or acknowledge me until I was about to pay. Pros: -Large selection of candy -Unique/Funky merchandise Cons: -Parking (although there is a parking structure across of the store that I believe is free for the first two hours) -Not the greatest customer service

In all honesty, would you give a place that gives EXPIRED CANDY anything higher than one star? My boyfriend and I recently came in, and bought two boxes of candy. As we walked out, we started to eat from one of the boxes. We checked and we realized the box literally says "Best Before 2/09/19".... literally almost 4 months ago lmao. A whole ass UCLA quarter ago. My boyfriend called and asked if he can receive a refund from the place and the guy literally told him there's nothing he can do about it. He was blunt and rude to my boyfriend on the phone. Take a look for yourselves and see this nasty ass expired candy below. Even my dog's kibble food looked more edible than it. Thanks rocket fizz, you're literally blasting off towards bad customer service and disgusting, inedible candy. 0/5 do not recommend!!! not even to my kid cousins!! lmao

We happened to be walking thru Westwood Village so we stopped in here. The displays are excellent and it really appears to be a fun place to shop for candy. So we filled a large bag with Salt Water Taffy. Much to our surprise most of it was not fresh. After spending about $8 on this bag of candy we had to test each piece and there were so many stale ones we thru it out. Warning to be careful as some of their stock is not fresh!

I happened to walk by this place by accident. I was immediately drawn to the bright lights, Thriller playing overhead, and the rows upon rows of soda. I had one thing in mind walking in here: WATERMELON SODA. If you've gone to Epcot or to another country, you might have tried it. It is absolutely one of the best soda flavors EVER. I had to have a bottle. Since there were literally hundreds of bottles all around the store, I got lazy and walked up to the owner, who was incredibly friendly. I asked, and her cute (daughter? niece?) jumped up to help me find it. Amazingly quick. After I cradled my precious, I walked around the store, like a.. kid in a candy store. I picked up some Crunchie (milk chocolate bar with honeycombed center) and Toffifay. For about $5 I had a really good night after.

Recently, they've had a Shohei Ohtani special, where it's a blue mochi filled with white chocolate ganache. My favorite is their chocolate mochi as it's simple, chewy, sweet, and delicious. In my visit this weekend, we got this blueberry mochi that was filled with the same white chocolate ganache that was in the shohei special. If you look around their storefront, you might find some hidden gems on the shelves. I got a salted caramel kit kat bag that was not cheap; however, it's also pretty hard to find. It has such a selection of candy from your childhood, and for kids, random unique gifts to keep them busy. but yesterday...all that flew out the window. I approached the sandwich counter and asked the person working (an angry woman apparently) what her favorite sandwiches are. After she took a minute to complain about how she had been making sandwiches all day and her brain is fried and she didn't really have any recommendations for me (and was seemingly annoyed at me even asking) she looked at the clock and advised that I was 2 minutes too late to order a hot sandwich. literally the 2 minutes she took to complain about her job cost me the sandwich. now, if it was my shop and a nice family came in and asked me my opinion on something and I took a minute or two to say the things that she said I would give them a sandwich and make that sandwich be the last sandwich of the day, but instead apparently my money wasn't green enough for her. She shut it down and two minutes later was out the door. she was rude, and honestly it just seemed that she didn't give an F. Today I called the store to speak with the owner and the person who answered the phone gave me the runaround. it was clear that either the workers didn't want to connect me with the owner or the owner doesn't want to hear the complaint. this place has gone downhill.
