Terrible experience! I go for a rear rotor resurface and to get my tie rod tightened, just to end up with stripped bolts on my rotor, a lug nut missing, and the boot hanging not covering the tie rod. I go back and they want to charge me $80 for the mistake they made in the first place! Will never recommend their lazy work to anyone in town! Knowing that i have to fix the boot now, I know im going to run into more problems, because they were too lazy to do it the right way! read more

Customer service is TRASH! Lady at the front desk is rude. And it's very inconvenient that she is the only English speaking employee, because if you don't want to deal with her rudeness there is no one else to assist you. Literally just needed air and was told I had to wait 20 minutes. The employee "working" on the car was doing absolutely nothing and could have easily put the air in my tire or simply just handed over the hose. Which EVERY tire shop allows. read more

Went to other tire shops and they were the only one who had my tire size for such affordable price! They even swapped my spare tire as a courtesy service The people who work here are very professionally mannered and easy to deal with. If you happen to be in Barstow and need a quick and easy tire change, come here first Thank you for your service! I totally recommend this place. read more

This place is awesome! Had a screw in my tire driving from Vegas to Socal. The gentleman there fixed it in less than 5 mins. All for just $20 while other places wanted to charge $80 and one place said their rate doubles after 5pm. I highly recommend Rock Tires. It's only 2 mins from the I-15 highway. Thank you very much! read more

Love these guys! I call them my pit stop crew! They are always fast and friendly! Thank you guys so much!

They helped us patch our tire when our situation was dire. They provided us with great help so I had to write a review on yelp (#bars lol). Rock Tires - They took this baby out of our tire! - Tires Near Me - Barstow, California

We were headed from Vegas to the Bay Area on a Sunday afternoon and the tire pressure light came on. Found Rock Tires on Yelp and decided to stop to have them inspect a low tire. Within minutes the tire was off the car and a 3" nail removed. In a nutshell ... they were fast, friendly and reasonable to fix a tire. 5 stars all the way! :-) read more

We had our tire start to come apart while we were between Baker and Barstow. We were able to call and confirm they had a tire that would work for our car. They were the only location in the area we called that was selling used tires. When we arrived they were very professional and quick. They even filled our spare with more air. We couldn't recommend it enough. read more

Went here freaking out that I had a leak in my tire but they checked each one, diagnosed, topped off the air, and checked my parents truck and trailer all for free. They were so nice and gave us great direction. read more

Michelle and I were driving through town on the way to Las Vegas and got a nail in our tire. We pulled off the highway and imeadiately found Rock Tire. The owner was standing outside as we pulled in, like he was waiting for us. 15 minutes later he had repaired our tire, checked the air in all the others and had us ready to go. He didn't try to upsell us a new or used tire even though he easily could have. Total cost was $15. Only time will tell if the patch holds, but as of now I'd highly recommend Rock if you're in the area. read more

Great people cheaper than most places around here, the lady in the front was nice enough to wait for me before they closed, arrived 10 min prior and still got my tires changed. Can't thank them enough. read more

Not a fancy place, just a nice small family run business. Just like may other reviews...was driving from Silicon Valley to Arizona. Got a nail in our tire just before getting into Barstow for the night. It was late when we arrived, nowhere to go to get a tire fixed on a Saturday night. Rock Tire opened 800am on Sunday. Fixed me up in 20 minutes. Made it to Arizona before dark. read more

Terrible experience. To start, they didn't even have the correct tool to remove the lug nuts... Then they didn't have the proper lug nuts to replace the ones they stripped... Then, my husband and i found out from a mechanic friend of ours that the did something wrong when replacing the tires and two tires wobbled when they were removed and rolled. When we went in to ask that those tires be replaced, they said they couldn't do that. We will never go back to this shop again. read more

I was in town visiting family for the weekend and discovered a completely flat tire when preparing to head home. I was worried I wouldn't be able to find anywhere to take my car on a Sunday, but was pleasantly surprised to find that Rock Tires was open and had no line. Both workers that I encountered were very friendly and knowledgeable. I thought I'd need to replace the tire entirely, but they insisted on checking to see if the tire was fixable first (which it was!) and charged just a minimal fee to patch it. They also refilled the air in the spare I used to drive to the shop and provided recommendations for how soon my tires should be replaced (I knew I'd need to be getting new tires soon, but wasn't sure how soon). Great service and a great price. So glad to know this shop is in town! read more

Awesome service! We got a flat tire and they fixed it very fast. We were on our way within 10-15 minutes.

We got a flat tire on our way to Knotts. This was our first stop and the elderly gentleman got us fixed up and back on the road in less than twenty minutes. He even checked our tire pressure on the other tires. Our repair was inexpensive and quick. Highly recommended!! read more

My friend drove my car to Barstow from LA and said that I needed to balance my tires so we stopped at Rock Tires on Main Street. The owner said he would charge $15 to balance two tires, it was half what I had to pay in LA so my friends suggested that I balanced all 4 tires. He then noticed that my front tires were worn out and perhaps should consider getting new one. The owner said he won't charge for mounting nor balancing the new tire. I normally change two tires at the same time so I purchased two tires from him and with that purchase, he didn't charge me the $15 to balance the two rear tires. This made my savings even better. My friend who is expect of car said the owner did an excellent job in balancing the tires. He lives near Barstow and will certainly go to Rock Tires for any tire work that he needs. read more
